Looks fantastic mate, excellent job you've done. I'm guessing the main colours we're going to be using are greys and browns with a little tan? Because I've got a heap of each. If I'm doing that wall section I'll be sure to make it a wall interspersed with a broken down building that has been fortified. Yep, so again just confirming a few things. I'm guessing those colours are fine yes? And also that the "rules" are very lenient on what we build so long as it is post-apocy and fits in with the map? To the Brickmobile!

Put me down for the East wall somewhere. If you want, I can do about two or three sections, as I'll be doing a fortified concrete section, and I have a whole truckload of dark grey bricks to use! To the Brickmobile!

Awww, that's so sad and cute. Excellent use of the sad jester face, I love all the detailes you've managed to cram into it as well, such as the bird on the roof or the water splashing down. To the Brickmobile!

Thank goodness I got something right then! To the Brickmobile!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 13
Batbrick replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm glad too partner. I say no one else gets on the bridge until the situation is assessed and these people have hopefully crossed. *Yelling to group on bridge* Perhaps a couple of yer group should first come back a bit, so yer weight is not concentrated all on that one there spot! -
Pretty nice stuff, I especially like the minifig style drawings of Dyna Mite and Dollar Bill. The first (busty) picture of Dyna Mite is pretty good up until the legs and hips which become very alien, way too wide and somehow get thicker like rubber tubing. Still, pretty good job, I'd like ot see more from you. To the Brickmobile!

Damn! I'm getting confused! But Spongebob was the show to have Davy Jones' locker as a literal locker with smelly clothing wasn't it? To the Brickmobile!

Brilliant! Love how you've done the shape of the room. The clone troopers are wacky but hilarious, great job! To the Brickmobile!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 13

Very honourable of you boys, be careful and safe! What say we get George ta follow after them, still tied up of course. Butcher and Brakes can handle him as soon as he reaches the end. I just don't want him ta go behind us, should he be the guilty one. In fact, I think I'll walk behind 'im if that's okay, as soon as Butcher and Brakes have cleared ta bridge. -
Fair enough. Even though you hate the actual characters then, what do you think of my Cybermen? Also, you must obey The Master! This version is based off of the Anthony Ainley version of The Master. Robert Deldago is actually my favourite incarnation, but I can't find an appropriate torso for him nor a face. Still, I love Ainley's version. The Clone soldiers neck thingy I feel works well as that frocky neck thingy that Ainley's costume sometimes had. However, if there are critics, here is a version without it: Apart from the brown hairs (which I may blacken over) I think the face is perfect. Here is also Simm's Master, the most recent incarnation: My minifig version is wearing the suit worn by Derek Jacobi's Master jut after his regeneration in the episode Utopia, since I don't have a good black suit. A comparison between my two masters: And The Doctor vs The Master, the former having been given a costume upgrade after finding I had a spare Bruce Wayne suit: Comments appreciated! Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 13
Batbrick replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well Butcher may be fine ta stick around near the back, but no way am I gonna let George get behind us so's he can stab me inna back! No way! It's good we're gettin' ta the Crossing, especially since I wanted ta go here first like Miss Elanor. Still, after all we've encountered that danger sign was certainly true! *Moves toward Miss Eleanor* Miss Eleanor? I've been very much confused over these past few days. In my youth, I was a reckless kid, still kinda am, though a bit of age has helped me somewhat. That day at yer weddin', I never knew I hurt anybody! I was just passin' through on an ol' carriage, bein' a jackass. Saw a wedding, an' in my drunken state thought it was one mighty fine joke ta disrupt it. When I hit the your husband I felt plenty bad, even at the time, but you've gotta believe me if I knew for a second what happened to him I woulda turned myself over ta the police before you could call me a murderer. I can't apologise fer what I did, nothin' could repay what I took back. But I assure you that should we make it outta here alive, I'll hand myself ta the authorities and admit everything, and you can take a fair share of riches too. I know it isn't good enough - nothin' is - but it's all I can do. *Looks around at everyone else staring at me* Errr....what? -
Thanks a lot for the review. The set isn't quite as good as I thought it would be, but I thought there would be more support under the box. Still, it is a great set, but unfortunately, since I've decided on saving a little more I'm skipping this one over, in favour of getting the Snake minifig in the Impulse set. To the Brickmobile!

Awesome moc, I love the general design of the battle suit, very well constructed, and perfect choice for the face. To the Brickmobile!

Suggestions for an Inferno HQ?
Batbrick replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Good thinking on the purchases there, nice to know you're thinking it through. If there is a Volcano Base in a store close to oyu, I'd definitely say go ahead and buy it, the pieces are obviously fantastic for building an even better volcano base. For the fish tank, are you using the one from the speedracer set? Because that is a really good choice. Those images would work great for computer screens, as would the Inferno logo stickers that fit in a 2x2 tile. To the Brickmobile! -
But wasn't the ship in Spongebob called the Frying Dutchman? I'm almost possible perhaps certain it was. To the Brickmobile!

Beautiful steampunk creation! For a theme you rarely build in you've certainly created something near perfection. The use of barrels and backpacks really works, but my favourite parts are the feet, excellent piece choices. To the Brickmobile!

Really? For me it was thoroughly disappointing. The new parallel universe Cybermen is the worst version I've seen, they are pretty much inferior humanoid versions of the Daleks, except without any emotions. The older Cybermen would still be beaten by the Daleks, but atleast could hold their own, the fight was so one sided it was a waste. Thanks KDog, appreciated. I'm really happy with the responses I'm getting about the Dalesk (and hopefully the Cybermen), I think I've stumbled across a great design here. Again thanks goes to Casewindu for main inspiration, though I also took a bit of reference from Dr Sinister. Thanks simonjedi. I would agree about using Palpatine's head, but I only have the yellow version. If it were the newer pale version it would've been my first choice. To the Brickmobile!

Haha! Like with everything else in Shwartz' life, this can't turn out good. And where is this nomination so that I may vote for it? To the Brickmobile!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 12

There's something off about George's voice... ( ) -
Very awesome, I love the compact look of it and how the colour scheme meshes so well. The addition of lfick fires really makes it feel like it could be a proper set. THe fact that yuo've given it actual controls gives it away as not being a proper set though To the Brickmobile!

"Sorry to double post but - AAaaaargh!" THIS IS THE AGE OF STEEL! YOU WILL BECOME LIKE US: CYBERMEN. I'm really happy with my Cybermen. I was reluctant to paint their faces but overall I'm glad how they turned out. Mr Spielbrick can tell you these Cybermen are more based on the classic series, with wider "mouths" and generally less streamlined. I'd like to think these are roughly the same model that went up against Ace: Anyone who's watched the new series and experienced Russel T Davies' deux ex machina writing will know about this one: "Thanks Russel for cheap plot contrivances!" And Doomsday style; "Species has identified itself as the Daleks" "Outline resembles INFERIOR design known as CYBERMEN!" "Delete" "EXTERMINATE!" I really think the purple flame pieces work for the Cybermen's guns: Hope you like, more comments appreciated! To the Brickmobile!

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 12

Thanks goodness I say. We should hold onta this here rope fer later too. C'mon Herman! Weren't long ago you were vouchin' for him! I say we all settle down a bit, and interrogate George. I don't wanna cause much pain, but we should definitely make him talk if he won't by himself I say. -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion
Batbrick replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hey guys, I don't want to be the nagger of the group, but can we not post stuff like "chops *inserts here*'s head off*" as posts? It begins to blur the line of what's happening and what's not. To the Brickmobile! -
Thanks a heap Mr Spielbrick, I was hoping you would make a comment. I'm honestly really happy with my cute little Daleks, even if I never quite found a way to give them the two separate arm designs (and I spent hours trying!) I agree I did sort of "cheat" from a purist point of view. I'm not quite a purist, but will only cross that line if there is no other way of doing it. I'm happy I did do it with the lights though, as it gives a much better Dalek feel. Thanks for the link, I thought it was Insectoid. Yeah, I put a trans blue stud in his head and it works, but looks a bit wierd also. The base was one of the harder things I've had to build, and I was worried that it would stand out too much among the other Daleks since it has two columns of studs, but I was happy to see it fit right in. That's a really good Ood design! I love it! Unfortunately I don't have that fig, I was thinking of using a Geonosian hed, but then I'd have to paint it. Great stuff, I wish Brainbox still came here. I'll be sure to comment on your figs when you update your topic next! To the Brickmobile!
