  1. It's obvious who the REAL heroes are at this point; Blacktron. The humans have deemed themselves the "superior race" and begun a genocidal purge of the galaxy claiming billions of lives and entire species. Fighting back against these "Space Police" are Kranxx, Snake, Squidman, Frenzy and others, some the only survivors of their species, determined to topple the corrupt human empire once and for all and end the slaughter before it claims the universe! Batbrick Away!
  2. Fantastic creation Paul! I love the two different designs of the castles, and the humour of how ridiculously close they are. I think the black castle should be the good one though, just to subvert things a little Batbrick Away!
  3. Darn, I was hoping to get more than one, considering I'll be buying the Zurg but not the Buzz. Batbrick Away!
  4. Very interesting so far ThePenguin, the lighting has improved a little but is still quite iffy in some places, and while thel ighting is also much better I thin kit is a bit inconsistent. Your sets did get much better though, such as the place Robin gets attacked at and the conversation between Penguin and Rupert Thorne. I'm really interested in how this ends now, you've set up a great mystery I'm also glad that so far you've been using lesser used characters like Rupert Thorn and the sadly not-often-seen ThePenguin. Batbrick Away!
  5. The car looks quite sweet, but alas not my thing. The family home sounds the most interesting to me, as those sets tend to be brilliant parts packs. Looking forward to more pics! Batbrick Away!
  6. Oh yeah I'd definitely pay good money for that. That way I could incorporate it in many things, and Farm fans could get a sweet fig too Batbrick Away!
  7. Sounds awesome, I'm glad you've been getting it all planned out. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to go all elitist on you or anything, far from it; I could never do something like this. Its just that my favourite stories tend to be the ones that tie in to the overall arc. I'm really excited that - as extended as it might be - you've got the whole "seasons" thing going. If you ever released a book (even an unofficial one) I'd buy it in a second, no questions. As for the titles, sounds great, seems you're doing the fantastic trend of the final stories all being part of the arc. Most looking forward to Revenge of the Hooting Space Monkey (sounds to be hilarious), Date Night II and III (for my favourite couple), Abducted, Revenge of the 918 and Stalker (all sounds sweet) and The Knights of Awesome! Looking forward to it all! Batbrick Away!
  8. I think they're great, but not for space police. The outfits are perfect for my post-apoc mocs and my oppressive fascist army ( ) etc, but as Space Police I don't think they look right. They look too intimidating to be the do-gooders of the universe, I imagine a lot of systems would like a decidedly brighter uniform. Batbrick Away!
  9. Oh yeah, I'll definitely be joining in on that craze. The giant squid looks great too, I love its mouth. I was so excited about this theme the other day that I rebuilt my awesome Aquaraiders Giant Squid in preparation for having a small army of them! :skull: Huh? Yes I think there will be more monsters. I'm not interested in the shark that much though, but I'll need to see better pics. Oh yes, I hope this trend continues, I love those pieces. Batbrick Away!
  10. Haha! When I saw this thread I laughed to myself. What an ingeniously simple (and complex) creation, I love the patterns on it. It has a great style of humour that I enjoy, and of course Squidman makes everything better Batbrick Away!
  11. I'll also join in the praise for the Classic Town team, you guys truly are great and have done some wonderful blogs. I visit there sometimes but never as much as I should which makes me feel a little bad, but rest assured Classic Town is a site filled with some of my favourite Lego stuff, even if I'm not a huge Town collector. And a very special thanks to TheBrickster, who has featured me and my creations a few times on there, and I thank him very much for that Batbrick Away!
  12. I would really hope Farm isn't dead, as it is the best of the current City lines. I'll BlueBard and hope for a henhouse, and sheep would be fantastic too Batbrick Away!
  13. Thanks again again again for the pics Forcemaster, the new Blacktron torso is brilliant! Lime Kraxx i really neat, I'll be sure to pick him up. The set itself isn't overly interesting but has some swell parts, and the new Space Police helmet is wonderful! Batbick Away!
  14. Haha! This part reminds me of this: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DarkerAndEdgier Good to see Scouse again, though I hope this one ties into the ongoing plot, as it would be good to see another story like that. Batbrick Away!
  15. LuxorV! I haven't seen you in ages! Great creation KingUndertheMountain, I especially love that unique first-person feel you've created. The lighting is splendid and the figs are brilliantly done. My only gripe is the slightly out-of-focus parts. Batbrick Away!
  16. Cthulhu has risen! The world will now be plunged into madness and chaos! Arrrgh! Seriously ForceMaster I cannot thank you enough for these great pics! The figs are great on both sides, I'll make great use of the diver gears. The monsters are even better, and words cannot describe my love for the Cthulhu helmet and mask and minifig face The underwater scooter I'll echo as a great looking set, I love the fact that I get two more grapple hook pieces. Atlantis is a surefire hit for me! Batbrick Away!
  17. Wow! They both look fantastic and a big improvement over the originals. The only thing I don't like is the grey barrel on the black car, though the opening doors are sweet! Batbrick Away!
  18. Thanks once again ForceMaster! Man that set is looking more appealing now! I love the dark orange lion heads as well as those wonderful half arch pieces! The trans part with light is fantastic too. But best of all are those wonderful figs, loving the new hairpieces! I don't know what I'll do with them all but I'll be sure to find out! Batbrick Away!
  19. The freakin' Batman The Brave and the Bold MUSICAL episode: Mayhem of the Music Meister! It's more beautiful than I could ever have imagined! Batbrick Away!
  20. Seconded, his head could just be an extremely cumbersome and impractical eel Also, having seen better pics, the new diving gear is amazing! And the torso and leg prints are fantastic! Batbrick Away!
  21. A light brick huh? Great! I love that stuff, and the new sword sounds sweet, especially the two-toned colour scheme to it. I'm not real disappointeds about the lion heads not being gold anyway, any colour other than grey is nice. Batbrick Away!
  22. Yeah the new helmets look absolutely flipping fantastic! The design looks somewhat akin to a futuristic motorcycle helmet. I don't know whether to be wanting a lime green Kranxx or a different alien altogether, but either way it's awesome! Batbrick Away!
  23. Okay, I'm going to stop trying to derive sense from you. Average is not even close to approaching "crap", it's square in the middle; neither great nor terrible. You can say it is crap that we have got so many average sets however. Anyway, I'm happy with the sets, hopefully there's even more cool minifigs of Atlanteans. Batbrick Away!
  24. Hahaha! Logic Bomb! Batbrick Away!
  25. Wow! You are definitely the owner of the best Batman fig collection I've seen ThePenguin, you've definitely gone up a few notches in minifig customising, I'd buy some of these if given the chance! Lets get started then: Two-Face's fedora is fantastic, it really works. I see you've done the same thing I have too in giving him white and black gloves. Your Dracula is ridiculously good, I really love that movie. I guess this is when he is in vampire form. Great choice of cape and torso, will you do his human form? I love you Zsasz, espeically his tally over his mouth which looks neat. Excellent choice of torso too, even if he is normally shirtless. I concur though, I really don't like the character. Your Talia is great, excellent choice of hair for her, though I honestly don't like the first version's torso, the second is much better I feel. I love your Scarecrow! I didn't like the syringe look in the game since Scarecrow uses gas, but you've really made it work! Did you make that piece yourself? Babydoll, I honestly can't say I like this one much, except for the face. I can't think of a better torso to use though. Wonderful job on Penguin's top hat, I really did love the classic 60's looks, and you've got it down pat! I really like your Firefly, much different to mine, but in a good way. Good use of the jetpack piece. As I've stated before, your Black Mask is spectacular, even if he is a terrible character that only The Batman made interesting. Excellent suit choice. As for red-haired Riddler, I do like him, but I think the Anakin red hair works better, since it doesn't stand out so much. Your Mad Hatter is brilliant, excellent work there Clock King is another perfection, especially his clock glasses! I think one of those rounded yellow technic axels could work as one of his gold watches too. Ventriloquist and Scarface are simple perfection! Arnold Wesker is my favourite of the two, you've captured his face perfectly. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are great, I love their boyish 60's look. I really like that you're creating figs from all eras of Batman. I don't like the Great White Shark that much, as I own the comic and he really isn't that white and his missing nose doesn't translate well (or at all) to Lego. Lockup is perfect, even better than the blue BTAS version, brilliant choice of face there. Humpty Dumpty! He's also in Living Hell, one of my favourite obscure characters! Great job! Two-Face's classic look is great, especially the green half of his face, though even more I'd have loved to see the even more classic purple/orange suit. Poison Ivy's new hair is far better than the original, I love it! Now I'm sad I didn't get the set with it As for Harley's new look, you've done a superb job on it, but I cannot comment much since I hated her look in the game. Your Clayface is fantastic though, I love the way you've styled him, great useo f the Rock Monster face. And finally, your Egghead is brilliant, though the picture is too bright. His face is the best part. Absolutely stunning round ThePenguin, if you ever start selling some designs, I'll definitely be your first customer! Batbrick Away!
