  1. Welcome back Righteous Squid, been missing you! As usual you post some fantastic Batman creations. Your new version of the Batbike is fantastic, I love the seamless blending of gold and black pieces, and once again I commend you on the inventive and effective use of those exo-force robot legs. A great construction of that bike, and Batman looks great on it too. The Stealth Batboat is another great creation. I love the small, agile look of it, definitely something to sneak past defenses. However I think you need to make just a little more space for Batman at the back, as he looks a little crammed there. Really looking forward to that Asian Teahouse and Bank. I too am working on Gotham Bank though unfortunately with limited grey pieces, though I think I'll be happy with my end result. Batbrick Away!
  2. Great new comics KDog! sorry I'm late! Much as I hate to say it I'm really enjoying these even if I'm waiting for Date Night. A couple of great continuity nods here, I love that all the characters are meeting each other rather than just Shwartz and Galanos, very interconnected. I'm sure you have a lot of trouble with that? I'm currently planning my own comic, and I find it very hard to get the details in. The Spadowskis as always are enjoyable, poor old man has to pay the price of having a trophy wife. Part 5 especially made me laugh hard, my favourite part being Spadowski's "Raargh rargh Shwartz rargh" Nice to see where this places on the timeline too. Interesting that you write from different sides of your own personality, I never considered that. I'm sort of the other end of the spectrum, I'll create a character with a full personality and certain views and then adjust my self to understand those views and situations in order to write them. I can see that Scouse has been hard to write as he has probably been the most inconsistent. Not in terms of character really, more in how he seems to switch back and forth between not having an accent and having one Batbrick Away!
  3. Fantastic bikes righteous Squid! Love the use of exo-force robot legs, simply genius! They really work to fill in that gap, especially at the back where they provide thrusters. The colour scheme works quite well too. Batbrick Away!
  4. Very nice Dr. S! I love the prurple and black colour scheme to it and it certainly looks like its namesake. The technic engine design I have to say really works and I love the moving engine/gun function. However I think it is a little compact too, making it seem very squarish. Perhaps if the connections to the "wings" was a bit longer? Batbrick Away!
  5. Darn, not available in Australia. I won't even bother guessing their prices in AU, considering I'm always off by a considerable amount, and not in a good way. Batbrick Away!
  6. Wonderful job as expected TheBrickster, sorry I missed this one! The way you've done the colours really works, especially the interior with glazed window. I love the use of trumpets, and it certainly gives off a Spanish vibe! Batbrick Away!
  7. Fantastic job SlyOwl, the port is wonderful! I love the busy and crammed look of it, and the misshapen bricks on the towers looks great. Some of my favourite details are the clothes hanging, drunk sailor and man getting hit by the lowered crate. The minifig arm roof is really quite inventive, but personally I don't think it works here that much, though the one made out of technic piece fits in quite well. Batbrick Away!
  8. Definitely worth a few thousand, though I am cutting way, way down on my spending now, only buying the parts and sets necessary to what I want to build. Batbrick Away!
  9. Thanks, especially since I tend to have a bad habit of spiraling everything into a flame war Batbrick Away!
  10. Ahh...the science fiction ghetto. There is very, very rarely such thing as "just sci-fi". I really enjoyed District 9, it was definitely a social commentary leaning on the cynical side regarding man's approach to "aliens" (aka outsiders) and how we really, really aren't ready to make contact yet. Batbrick Away!

Fantastic work thire5! I love the mostly studless look of it, and the design is superb! The landing bay is quite neat, my favourite part there is the Jetson's-esque vehicle. Great use of that silver dome up the top too. The inside is even more superb, you've definitely managed to cram a load of great details in, the area behind the counter especially is great. Batbrick Away!
  12. Well, I guess I can live with that, but I don't remember who the Spadowski's are? I'm very intrigued now, as I thought that the Knights of Awesome (which is still the best name ever by the by) were simply a recurring joke, interesting... Fantastic new comic, I love Amarillo's character as being the classic all-too-perfect 50's hero, complete with "all in a day's work!". His attitude to his peers reminds me of Captain Flowers of Red vs Blue. Also, the photography in this one is excellent. I remember back to Valkyrie's clash with Freundlich your action scenes left a bit to be desired, but they have certainly improved since. Batbrick Away!
  13. Fantastic goblin figures ThePenguin! I especially love Borx for that neat little belt satchel he has, though Cranx is great too. Wonderful paintjob on their faces, I didn't even recognise those as Yoda heads. Do you plan on making any creations for them? Batbrick Away!
  14. Wow, these look fantastic! The clown, ninja, radioactive man, caveman, forestman, robot, zombie, adventurer and astronaut are all must-gets for me! However the news I've heard on how these will be sold depresses me, I'll most likely bricklink the complete figures if they're not too expensive. Batbrick Away!
  15. Thanks a heap for the review! This looks to be a fantastic little set, I'll be sure to get this one. Certainly something I love about the Atlantis sets is that we can get the awesome minifigs in such reasonably priced sets, which is the main reason I'll be getting this one, no way will I let Sharkman slip through my fingers! Batbrick Away!
  16. I'm torn! I don't want to get any of the sets (at best only the smallest one) but that figs is so brilliant it is a must-have! Hopefully he comes with that shiny armour in the little set. Batbrick Away!
  17. That's it, I hereby declare that the Knights of Awesome MUST make an appearance, either as a still-existing group that is constantly vigil for the return of the dragons or simply in a flashback, but it must hpapen! Another great installment KDog (though Date Night is totally next), and I only just got the reference; "Alas poor Yorick, I knew him" Batbrick Away!
  18. Fantastic Space Cruiser Cedric the Brick, I really can't lay a fault on it! I love the sleek black and grey look, and you've achieved a nice balance of studs and no studs. It is awesome that the cockpits open up, and the detailed areas are great. The figs are really good, though I don't think they quite fit in with the very shiny look of the ship. Batbrick Away!
  19. Calling it; guy with sword dies when he realises he is not impenetrable after jumping on the axe Great little vig Thunder-Blade, the stairs are great too, though I think the ruined column on the left side probably needs a little more support at the bottom. Batbrick Away!
  20. Wow, I didn't realise before how much detail was within this creation as well, great job TheBrickster. I love the use of those printed tan long tiles, where are those from? I'm jealous. The lower room with gun racks and ammunition is very neat too, though I'd watch that flame if I were them Batbrick Away!
  21. I'll agree with those saying that a more "neutral" theme would be great, I'd love for the two human factions to both have different colour schemes without one resorting to black and red. Batbrick Away!
  22. Fair enough, I'm not huge on the "grungy" aspect of the character myself, but it works with what you've created. I recognised the similarities to The Dark Knight too. What face is that from though? Batbrick Away!
  23. Great job! I'm surprised at how well that came out, though I think the face is weak, you should get the smiling gangster's face from the Indy Shanghai Chase set, it's perfect! Batbrick Away!
  24. You're a username who makes posts in text, wouldn't that take away from the "anthropomorphic" part? Batbrick Away!
  25. Holy rampaging somethings from the something something system! How much do classic space figs normally cost? Batbrick Away!
