Hello EB, lately, I have been working on a ton of Batman related mocs, and I would love to share them with you. Like with Brainbox's excellent Bat-Goody Bags, this is a collection of the many projects I have worked on. Thanks goes out to Brainbox for this blatant rip-off of his threads :-D Anyway, today I have: 5 mods 2 displays 2 Custom Figs 1 Creation and a haircut I hope you enjoy them! Here we go. Part 1 - The Mods: First up is the minor touchup to my UCE Batmobile, which, while a beautiful model, desparately needed some coverage over the exposed engine. Before: And After: They are easily removable for repairs too, here is an overall shot of the beauty: My batboat mod, just blackened it up and removed the fins really: Batmobile mod. This one I am particularly proud of, as it kept the sleek look. as you can see I also blackened it up: Front view: Batcopter mod. This one needed heavy modding as well. I turned it into a sort of search and rescue copter, that can also be used for spotting out things that need to be seen from the sky, like hiding criminals escaped from Arkham or Blackgate. The large spotlight I am proud of. The fact that I can easily double it as an attack copter (lights on the right become guns) is also something I like. Pics: Batarang holders, on both sides. The spotlight can move up or down too. The beast that is the Battank mods. All credit goes to Brainbox on this one for his awesome Battank mod, like his mine becomes more of a heavy batmobile for large scale riots and events like No Man's Land. However, though a bit more ugly because of it, mine can hold equipment: You can also see I removed the yellow technic peices and replaced them with black ones: Part 2 - The Displays Simple really, just the two cupboards that hold my batsets. Here is the Batcave. Unfortunately, at the moment I cannot mod it further into a better scaled one, but once I have this years batsets no doubt the Batcave will grow in size. Note that the technic gun is now replaced by a Batwing platform: Now the villain cupboard. Unfortunately my Arkham has yet to arrive, but atleast thats something to look forward to in the next Bat Mocs'N'Mods Treat. I kept riddler's gate because I plan to remake the base from the pic and then do a phony, what if? dimension review of it. For better looks at the mods, here is the gallery (when public): Batmods! Part 3 - The Custom Characters I am awful at making customs, but I just wanted to try a few things out, and I had fun :-) . Here is basically a classic Riddler minus the bowler hat ( :'-( ). I made the cane by sticky taping the trans green hook onto the trans green lightsaber blade. I think it works well. As you can see I prefer my Riddler with reddish-brown hair, and I drew that torso on a tiny piece od paper. It looks pretty good I think, despite the slight colour difference, my computer version was worse. Now I thought Mr. Freeze was a great fig, but his blank torso, though covered a bit, looked a bit blank for a technological suit. So all I did really was add printed legs and torso. I think he looks better: Without the freeze gun: Two comparison shots: The two guys "chilling" X-D Part 4 - Batcycle Seeing as, from the looks of things, this years batsets will be TDK oriented, ny guess is that the Batcycle is actually the Batpod featured in the film. So I made my own, classic Batcycle, using the one found in the Service Station set. Black is REALLY hard to photograph, but hopefully you can see the two batarangs in their holders and the handcuff attached at the back: The batarang holders beter seen in this pic: And this one a tad: Now the last part: Part 4 - The Haircut In thanks for letting him do such a blatant ripoff of the Bat-Goody Bag threads, Batbrick shows off one of his many talents by giving Brainbox a free, much needed haircut, with a Batarang to boot! X-D Hope you enjoyed this one! I have many other things to share, but didn't want to cram this one, so next time look out for a part 2! Comments and Criticism (the nice kind pease) appreciated. Thankyou! Batbrick is Back! >:-)

:-D , no, he was a brit the whole time, I'm sure I put that in the 1.5 part thread. And he might get eaten, but the problem is not a single choice, but a matter of two choices contradicting *skull* ........ And Piranha, just think of it this way, its the Apocalypse, futuristic weapons are a thing of the.....past. And if yo read the 1.5 thread, he already demands tea in exchange for his skills! :-D Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
NOOOOO AGAIN! *sing* Can't wait to se your reviews, can I be in one where I kill you? (probably wishful thinking.....) When I get that "arachnoid twoname", the smackdown can begin! *skull* BTW: Do you plan on getting more sentry sets? Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Actually, the superintelligent runts are still slaves to the almighty penguins of the east pole, who are conspiring to end all life as we know it by making a large audience of lego obsessed internet users vote to make the generic main character eat the runts, thus giving them a flimsy excuse to end all life in revenge! :-P That aside, heres a clue: Who said tea was easily made in the future? Batbrick is Back! >:-)

give me a sec, I've got something....................................................................... .I'll get it, don't worry,.......................................uh...................erm........... ..........eh............... I like your big pink hat iamded! *sweet* Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
That is a custom, an excellent one at that. I remember seeing this a while ago. The headpeice is different to the released one too. Thanks for posting it though. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Good choice sir! And I would have broken your back too *skull* Thankyou piranha, I like this biased thing, I think I'll continue it. And welldone on voting for Bane! (quickly edits your quote X-D ) Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Someday.................. *wub* Oh well, I like the prototype better, I wanted that new armour in abundance. Still, I would rather a dwarf impulse *wub* Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Well, I hate my life. :'-( Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Another sweet impulse set: Edit by Hinckley: I believe this is just the preliminary pic for 5618... EDIT by Batbrick: Sadly, so do I, still cool though, I guess.....(runs away and cries) Lovin that new armour *wub* Batbrick is Back! >:-)

I think I found another impylse set, I think. I haven't seen it posted on the front page so here we go: Definitely different from the other troll impulse. It includes a crossbow, a brown, not grey sword, the new armour too. I'll definitely get a few for that cool gold helm and awesome new armour. I hope this hasn't been posted before, I never find news :'-( Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Oh, okay, thanks :-) I was beginning to think I wouldn't be ableto get all my 08 stuff, I could barely afford the overpriced Battank last year. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
I know this is a bummer, but the other sets have the new armour though, and if you want to look on the bright side, this confirms that the Orcs and Skellies are allied. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Thanks! *sweet* Er, I mean, Stalking you! *skull* The tumbler 70 dollars? Thats way too expensive, either this prelim pic doesn't show the whole set (please let it be a bit with Gordon! :'-) ) or the price is wrong. I honestly don't think this set could possibly be that much. That said, the Penguin set is a reasonable price. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Thanks, I'll take that advice next time I draw. I tried it a bit, but now I see I could have don MUCH better :-$ Thanks again. :-D Thanks. Thanks Brainbox, I think I might have succeeded with the Joker then, which makes me happy. The Riddler is one of my favurite characters but everytime I try to add his cheekbones he ends up looking fifty years old, so I think I did better this time. A long way to go still though. Thanks for the tips too, I remember that technique now, I'll do that from now on, to avoid "fat nose" syndrome. Thanks guys for your tips and compliments, I still have a long way to go before I can draw really good (doubt I'll succeed anyway :'-( ) but your tips will definitely help me improve, thanks again. Without wanting to sound like a total know-it-all, I think the book is far better. Its a lot more bleak, and the "legend" part of it is surprising and very clever. And me? I watched Serenity. To Firefly fans you'll know what I'm talking about. Great movie, wraps up a lot of loose threads left in the series and still leaves enough open to the imagination. The Reavers are awesome too, and the Operative is one of my favourite villains. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Batbrick's Bat-minifig Artwork!
Batbrick replied to Batbrick's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks, I like the Ventriloquest too, I do hope TLC release him *wub* Thankyou Brainbox, I'm glad you like Ra's, as he was the one I worried most over. And glad to see you enjoyed the appearance of babs *sweet* And about a sequel, possibly, I have ideas for manbat and several others, and I think I could slip in Oracle just for you X-D Batbrick is Back! >:-) -
As biased as I am to The Dark Knight, I still find this a little annoying. I thought the idea of Supes being a pawn of the government was a good idea, but even though we all know that Bruce's life requires much more will and determination, I still think Supes can teach him a lesson now and again. I know what you mean, I hate leaving unfinished things, er, unfinished. The glider sounds good, but I was surprised about the armour being brickbuilt. So its that kind of armour >:-) Can't wait to see it then. I enjoy drawing too, though I think I am pretty awful at it with a few exceptions. Minifigs are fun, and harder than I though they would be. When I was on holiday I had to work with a dysfunctional pencil sharpener, so that might be my excuse for several mistakes :-$ :-D , I think everyone just wants a peice of the comic book know-it-all now :-D In a Death in a Family, you are referring to the part where Superman won't allow Batman to go after the Joker, yes? Sorry, I haven't read that story in a long time, I never really did like it to be honest, I always thought the Joker could do much more interesting things than simply bash Robin to death. But thats me ranting again so I'll move on.... Yes, Batsuits are a must, many complain that we only got one new fig (the awesome Bane) in the 2007 line, but I easily count Blue Bats as another, I love that suit, and I'll do the same with this line, which might contain two new batsuits if we are lucky. And once again your love of Batzarro comes up, I must admit he is thoroughly entertaining, though what the obsession is with superman villain counterparts is about I have no idea, surely Batmite was taking it too far. Still, anyguy who has his brain wired completely backwards and dresses not unlike the Dark Knight is a win in my books. As for Bizarro, he's always good. I'll second that too, excluding the bat-pun, which Brainbox seems to have a bit of talent in. Does anyone know these prices in AUS? I have no idea how to convert, or what country this money is in anyway :-$ Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Thanks, but sadly, I already did to day. And I found naught, nay, nada, nothing, nil, zero, zip and zilch :'-( They will be coming soon though no doubt, I just hope I can accumulate enough money in time, I just blew it all on arkham. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
I agree, like someone stated before, I definitely think this is one of the best things to come of the new castle line because, its not another castle, its something never done before and a totally unique design. Not only now do we get awesome fantasy minifigs, but the sets are touching on fantasy too :'-) Luckily that tail and gun is easily modified too. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
NOOOOOOOOOOO! *sing* I was hoping to get them before you :-P Actually, this is good news for me, if they've hit New Zealand and the mainland, they can't be far off little Tassie now. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Thanks for all your great comments guys! :'-) Glad to here you enjoy this as much as I do! Good logic again, nemesis. I must say though, without wanting to bring spoilers out, I think you may all be in for a not-so-fun surprise next episode, what with all these choices it was bound to happen. You can speculate if you wish, but the consequences of these choices will be of deadly consequence *skull* Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
Thanks for these pics Vader, this confirms to me that that silly shooting system is easily removable and that the "tail" at the end can ve easily shortened as well *sweet* Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Comedy Backfire 101 review: "The good cop, bad cop routine, also likened as the comic and straight man routine, will never fail to raise a laugh in real life. Never, not if it is performed correctly. Unfortunately for the naive internet user, one might find that this routine when written in internet conversation will result in said comedy backfire. Not always take note, but just as sarcasm is easily taken literally on a chatboard so can this method cause embarrassment and even total humiliation. Fortunately, most people are intelligent enough to realise this, and even those that don't are smart enough not to stoop so low as the "but how can I talk" shtick at the end. And then there are others......." :-P Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Don't worry TheBrickster, atleast you are above that chidish kind of thing X-D Batbrick is Back! >:-)
