I will not stand for this happiness in my funeral parlour! >:-( May I remind you Hinckley that this set will never reach your hands? :-P Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Er...I meant new to me? :-$ Damn, well I've never seen one, think of all the cool mocs that could be achieved with it! :'-) I will now devote the rest of my life to mastering that "new" piece, and proving to you all that though not new, it can be reinvented! Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Oh I agree, but every re-release is a re-release over and done I say. And you never know, there may still be another new character lurking in these set, I hope. Right now, Gordon is main priority, he better get made or I'll complain, a lot. X-D Yes, I hope the film is dedicated to him, and that the TDK script doesn't leave a necessity for the character to return. Batbrick Something! *wacko*

I concur! How can anyone deny the beauty of that lighthouse set! *wub* That set is a must for me, then the rest comes down to money at the time. EDIT: Do I spy a new GRAPPLE HOOK mold on that helicopter that iamded posted? (thanks iamded!) Batbrick Something! *wacko*

So true :'-) ..... So true infact, that I have another eulogy planned for when the contest ends X-D Batbrick Something! *wacko*

I saw them, and bought them, at Birchalls and Toyworld. No doubt they are at K-Mart too. They had the Battle arachnoid, River Dragon, Police Chopper, Police waterplane, Police Truck, MM sets, all impulse, creator minis, all star wars sets and a few more I'm sure. This was in Launceston, but they'd be in Hobart too I reckon *sweet* Batbrick Something! *wacko*

The new sets have arrived in Tasmania! I bought the Knight and Wizard impulse today! *sweet* Batbrick Something! >:-)

:-D , it was a good excuse! Thankyou for your comments Lord Of Pies, and thanks for joining me in my hatred for that UGLY truck! :-X Glad you like my tank, and my turret. Thanks for your words! Thank goodness! And yes, the truck is UGLY AND BOXY AND PUTRID! :-X The next one will keep the cool treads but look, you know, good. Batbrick Something! *wacko*

I'm sure you'll think of something >:-) ......... I look forward to seeing Hinckley getting his return, you should start a new thread about this, but maybe that would give Hinck the advantage. Hmmmm, a most trifling dilemma me thinks....meditate on it, I will. Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Another brilliant Redman review! I love these! Even if you are SOOOO late! :-P You've gone into excellent detail this time iamred (thats both of you), me very handy tips and extras. Well done on noting those little problems in the manual, you have certainly convinced me to get this set! Great Redman review! Batbrick Something! *wacko*

Depends on where you live. If you are hanging upside down screeching like a cat being fed to an alligator in a padded cell on tuesday, then you are crazy like me. Also, whats to laugh at? That was a perfectly reasonable and serious conversation we had going, culminating in TheBrickster's head being lost in the sanitation department. Then you went and made it silly |-/ X-D Batbrick something! *wacko*

I understand what you mean, and I'm not really one for the celebrities either. My point was really that when a celeb dies, as tragic as it is, it kind of breaks that wall of ignorance we all surround ourselves with, the one that that makes us forget all the other bad occurrences in this world. When I turn on the TV and find out a famous actor is dead, my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family, but what really strikes me is that it wakes me up to everything else going on, everything I ignore in my daily life. People die everyday all over the world, pretty much all of which never had as glamorous a life as a celebrity. This in no way detracts my sadness towards his death, its just that it saddens me that a famous person need die to wake me and others to the sad fact that this is happening all the time. I guess another thing I'll be taking away from this is that I need to remember those who never had a chance to live to a ripe, old age, whether they be Heath Ledger, someone close to me, or someone I'll never know, and that if I'm to do this, then I will need to stop ignoring all this around me. But also not dwell on it, but enjoy the life I have with others, while I, or they are still around to enjoy life. Thats my thoughts, I apoligise if anyone disagrees, or is offended by them.

Man, as confused about the film as I am now, I still can't get over the shock. Kinda makes you really think whats more important in life doesn't it? The guy has a little daughter who'll never see him again, and his family, imagine the shock they'd be going through. Jeez, thats just terrible, I don't know him, obviously, but everytime a big celeb death happens it makes me realise that this can happen to anyone. I'm sure I'll certainly take something away from this, and thats probably that we should be enjoying those closest to us for as long as we can know them. Sound a bit corny I know, but I mean it. What a sad tragedy.

Troll Battle Wheel Review now with pics
Batbrick replied to Cardinal Brick's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I win! you WILL get it! :-P I'm not that concerned about the armour now, and since the price looks to be less than it was before, count me in on this set! Batbrick Away! >:-) -
Wow, you seriously do need more troops! I agree, skellie soldier impulse ON! Also, nice avvie! Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
AMEN! Anyway, if TLC didn't want anyone to see them, then they'd tell us, which they did, so no damage done. As you said before, a matter of timing, not source, so leaked pics aren't really a problem from my view. Leaked Pics.........................ON! Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Thankyou Dr.S! *sweet* And about you hand, you were wearing a flesh-coloured glove at the time, people round my town are a bit suspicious of folks with robot arms ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
-
Good idea actually, but I'd still prefer not having a billion skellie horses. I'll definitely do that though. Oh well, looks like theres going to be a lot of skellie horses in my parts box. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Me too, Bane is a great and useful minifig, I don't want to spend the rest of my life paranoid that I'll lose him! :-D :-D , good point, and for some strange reason I can imagine you doing exactly that.....a lot...... I was thinking the Riddler, but as much as I love him, I don't see any personal conflict or threat he could pose. Sure, if he was a recurring villain he could go all Hush on Bats and figure out his identity and whatnot, but I think Catwoman or Talia would be good to provide a more personal conflict, and, er, good looks. I don't really want Riddler anyway, because they would probably make him into a Saw type villain. Can't forget the 60's. I love that TLC has included so many different takes on the characters. And as you say, a great way of getting those unbelievably adorable penguins. Plus, with Penguin's subs, I can make a small fleet, wone of them manned by the penguins! Plus another Penguin and Robin is fine by me, that'll give me three of each (I have the Robin Magnet Set) which means they will go into the minifig box, which is great because I love Robin's hair, and Penguin's torso. Exactly! Not to mention a Poison Ivy set would be the perfect way to get a small, non-vehicle (atleast for the villain) set. TLC loves action, so a big, brickbuilt, man eating plant of sorts would be great, it could even be in a greenhouse but thats me just dreaming. So I'll be happy if we see another Bane, Killer Croc, Two-Face or Poison Ivy set. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Good because the penguin is mine! *skull* Thanks btw! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Well, in retrospect it wasn't bright but - X-O Thankyou Hinckley! I mean, er: Let us remember these harsh times and endure my friends, do not despair, but look forward to a bright tomorrow. A utopia, a better future for all of us! Let us not look to the past in lament and sorrow, but instead face the path to victory that lies ahead, the path that was lit by this wondrous set. So I say to you this day my friends, do not mourn the loss of our dear Block Block, but instead celebrate its life, and legacy! :'-) (Thanks for the title Hinckley! :-D :'-) ) Batbrick - Now with Title! >:-)

Hey! You can't steal my shrouded Penguin idea now that I've called it! :-P Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
You fool! How could you possibly suggest a giant hero or a littering hair-eating-her-face dancing band girl, when there is an evil shrouded Penguin just waiting to be made in mech form! >:-( :-P X-D I have a wild idea now, it may end up being so crazy its totally sane. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

What game are we playing at the moment?
Batbrick replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Um, I just beat Bowser again on Super Mario Bros 3 :-$ I still get really nervous and sweaty whenever I verse him, but he's relatively easy to make him drop himself in the lava. Uh, I think I need to start playing newer games :-$ This was on the computer btw, I don't have my Super Nintendo anymore :'-( Batbrick is Back! >:-) -
A very cool little car here LuxorV! *y* Nice to see you doing something that isn't a mech! :-P I love the inclusion of an engine, and I can't tell if that is grey and bley mixing, but if it is, you've done an extraordinary job! Overall it is an awesome little vehicle, I especially like the front. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
