__________ Thanks for that, I had forgotten about the games. They come on PC fine don't they? And I think I'm moving away from City now, until I can get a layout anyway, its just not an interesting theme when broken up into different shelves. Trying to barely stay on topic here, but is everyone happy with the Advent Calender being the special item? I certaintly am, not to mention it confirms Harley *wub* Batbrick is Back! >:-)

And you do? :-P But the Joker is always piloting weird stuff anyway, heres looking forward to the Jokermobile! I feel your pain, I really do. Not to mention citing the different incarnations and interpretations, and lets not forget Elseworlds tales. Of course, my friend at school is waiting for me to get Harley Quinn, I keep telling her she comes out next year, but I did get Bane. "Who's Bane?" she replies. Sigh. Oh I don't mind backless buildings at all either, I meant something like the Cloud City playset or such, which I wouldn't mind at all, or an Arkham-like design, with different sections. Wayne Manor is a must I think, people say its too big, but forget the enormity that is the Batcave. Exactly my friend, exactly :-D That said, we still manage to keep on topic, so I see no harm in two bat-geeks getting their way. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Andrex here with a Lego Batman Screenshot Blowout!

Actually, now that you say that, I've definitely warmed up to it. And he does look, dare I say it, cute in that pic. But I'll still remain a bit annoyed that Burtons Penguin still influences so much even today. Again, the interpretation was interesting, but the legacy it left was what annoyed me. :-D We should meet sometime, my friends, and family have simply given up on me always talking about the Two-face psychosis :-D Take that back quick! Before you sterotype all Bat-Lego Fans as dateless wonders who check out hot minifigs! :-D Unfortunately, no sign of Manbat yet. I wanted to see him so bad, he's my favourite "guilty pleasure" character, so utterly contrived but I can help but think he's awesome. Batbrick is Back! >:-) -
It was good news, now I can relax in the fact that I'm still on sick leave from work. I think I'll "remember" to call them to return next week X-D Hope you did well on those exams, biology was always a hit-or-miss for me. Some I was great at, others, not so much. And today is NOTHING DAY, where I can relax and do exactly that. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Brown or Black would suffice for me. Its just that the Dwarfsmine Defence is a better army builder for dwarves and trolls than the impulse set, so a different coloured beard impulse would be a wise decision, so we don't end up with a red-bearded army. :-D Wow, thats some specific prioritising there. For me, I'll go a bit more indepth: Most important: All of Batman Line All of Castle Line The Better Indy Sets Holiday House Second most important: Rest of Indy Sets City sets Star wars BPs (one of each, I'm not rich) Lastly: Little exo-Force sets MM Impulse and tiny sets Impulse purchases (not to be confused with the impulse line) Batbrick is Back! >:-)

I'm not as popular unfortunately. I'm still starting out as a vigilante, and comparisons to Batman aren't helping. The fact that Batman gets his own cell annoys me too, I mean, I don't look THAT much like him do I? Oh yes, really, its only small things that need to be changed I think. People forget that at one point you HAVE to leave a set the size it is, minifigs take up a lot of room. Wedge plates are a good idea too, I personally think the Batmobile needed more modding, that darn shooty thingy was intergrated into the set a lot. "I Scream", I had never thought of that. reminds me of Joker's awesome paintjob on the truck in The Dark Knight: "SLaughter is the best medicine!" It also seems very Jokerish too, as you stated. And the Ice Cream on top is a simple but effective design I had never thought of. Not to mention blew up hot-air balloon carrying Girl Scouts cookies just so he could laugh at the sight of biscuits raining down on Gotham. The Joker never ceases to entertain me, I hear many people say he is too one dimensional just because he is irredeemable, but I could honestly write a 1000 word essay just on his sense of humour. Not that I would, I hate essays.

Its definitely a "kind-of" thing for me. I don't hate Burtons take on the character, but overall I hate that almost every media incarnation of The Penguin since, have given him some sort of deformity. That said, it does look pretty cool, and the most important thing is that he has retained that "social elite" look. You couldn't resist could you? :-P I agree, I was afraid that it would end up too light. I'm all for a fun, funny Batman Lego game, but its great to see they've achieved this while at the same time keeping true to the Batman Mythos. Joker looks more angry still, I hope he looks a little more happy in the game. And about Catwoman being strangely attractive, could it be because her pose in her last pic make her seem kind of, erm, "chesty"? :-D Here we go again............ Batbrick is Back! >:-) -
Had to have another blood sample taken yesterday, not very fun. Luckily my first season of BTAS had arrived, so I spent much of the day watching that, or Joss Whedon's Firefly. Luckily, the doctor's FINALLY figured out what was wrong with me, so I'm getting better now, and medication helps. So no more liver biopsies for me! *sweet* My cousin is also staying at my house, so he's good fun. We watched Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz over two nights. I despise the swearing in those films, but if you just ignore it, they are both excellent and hilarious films. Oh, and hope you did well on those exams Brainbox. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Thankyou *sweet* No I wasn't sent to Arkham, they were full up. They had to prepare a special cell in Blackgate Penitentiary. The padded walls were nice though. Of course I do! We Batfans have got to stick together you know, and you're not the only one who'd love a green ivy *wub*.......... I agree with this. I think they've done a fine job, and even the shooting mechanisms are not heavily intergrated into the set (unlike the Batmobile, that was a hard thing to Mod). The final version will probably look even better, and when you replace the grey and gold grills with black ones, that will also improve it. And also, don't discount the fact that these are preliminary. The batsuit will change no doubt, and I'm hoping that the Joker gets a purple fedora and trenchcoat (which would also confirm Gordon). Plus the ice cream truck is cool, and I have no icecream peices, so this one is a must for me. That sounded a little stupid in retrospect, the reason for me to get the set is STILL the Tumbler, the icecream is a bonus :-$ And then there is that mystery fifth set I'm always speculating. I have become more sure of its existence now that we see there is a set number gap. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Yes, the two soldiers annoyed me. They are just using the two different torsos. I'm sure we'll see a dwarf sometime, it is, as so many cliched villains say, inevitable. I would also hope that they give us a brownbearded one as well. Yes, its shaping up to be the single best lego year ever in my opinion, knocking 2007 out of the park. My only criticism is that there are too many sets, and all of them good. I cannot hope to gain all the sets I wish. Batbrick is Back! >:-)
-
I'd go yellow. It distinguishes them more, and suits as a nice contrast to the rock raider torso. Am I in this army? I remember having a similar outfit in your post-apoc world :-P X-D Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Went for: Kit Fisto, thats a great headpeice. Dwarf, just the concept of lego dwarves make me :'-) The uber-megablockskicking-badass Bane, he is the most detailed figure I have ever seen. I know all the SW fans will vote for Kit in the finals poll, but this guy deserves the trophy. Aquaraider: Just seemed like a cool design to me, plus he has back printing! *y* Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Sorry! Another late reply, but I NEED to comment on this! :-$ Another hilarious comic piranha, I love that iamded breaks the fourth wall at the beginning. It seems I got the grog, and iamded took a beating, so that puts the score at: Batbrick: 979944678567679099943797978 iamded: 0 This is my favourite line: "Why you little $%&$! I will hurt thy!" :-D Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Sorry! Late reply! :-$ This is a hilarious comic Piranha, nice to see your biased opinions still making it into these! :-D It seems my archenemy iamded finally got me, but you are wrong! I got the grog! Anyway, excellent comic, especially the Mars Mission bit! :-D Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Awesome fire vulture upgrade there zero1312! *y* I love how they are poseable now, the weapons that is, and the "eye" creeps me out. I like the additions of "fins" on the arms too. The body seems a LOT more proportioned to be lifted by the jetpack now, great work! Batbrick is Back! >:-)

OOh! Suspenseful! Nice too see your tank in action, and your house is very cool. I laughed at the sight of the Doc Ock newspaper, I thought "Is he STILL at large?" :-D Can't wait to see part two, and what other members become involved. Great work, and great photography too! Batbrick is Back! >:-)

WOW! New sets! :-$ I love the skellie army builder, very cool, I will get a few. Like my good chum *yoda* I feel though that we should get a skellie builder without the horses. At first they were cool, but they are not something you want a lot of. Still, I like it. The Troll army builder is wicked. Sure, it has a shooty thingy, but it comes with an Orc, and I get a rat, of which I currently only have one. I don't see the reason in the other Soldier impulse existing though, he just has the old torso and lame accessories. Still, I will get it for completion. Now there MUST be dwarf impulse, hopefully with brown beard, seeing as the army building Dwarfsmine Defense includes a red bearded guy. Castle Advent Calender, I'm in love! *wub* This I MUST get, it is beautiful. I love that civilian, that jester, and that witch. Does anyone think 2008 is the best year for lego ever? I do. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

X-D It seems my return has sparked BTAS talk all over again! X-D Thanks jedikermit :-) Pulling a *yoda* wasn't fun for me this time Vader, well kind of, whenm I got back all these new sets, I nearly exploded! Anyway, just glad to be back! Two-Face is also probably my favouritem tied with a few others, even at my age I still shudder and tremble when poor Harve breaks down without his coin. The ending was best ever too. I wouldn't discount Second Chance though, one of my favourites. It is a very underrated episode I feel, a very psychological, and sad sequel to the Two-Face two-parter. The ending in that one is very thematic and good too, with the shadow of arkham over Harvey's scars at the end, showing that for the short time he got to talk to Bruce, his inner demons weren't in control :'-) First season was a hit-and-miss, I believe, because the writers tried to hard to come up with new villains, like the lame invisible man and cringeworthy Sewer King. After shifting focus, and getting the characters out there, the latter part of season one was gold I feel. But yes, I'd still rather watch Batman in my Basement than a current Penguin episode of The Batman. Atleast his personality is right in that episode, in the new one, :-X I think that the moment tears fell from Mr.Freeze I had tears forming in my own eyes when I watched that ep :-$ I need to get out more I feel. Anyway, atleast the haters of the new sets can have this consolidation, that with every rerelease of a villain, you won't be seeing that villlain in a set for a long time. So Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Scarecrow and Robin will be taken up by new characters. Or a NEEDED rerelease, like Bane, I want him in a cheap set so I can get three of him. I'm really paranoid I'll lose him. Poison Ivy would be a good rerelease too, as green, just to satisfy Brainbox. Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Thanks very much for these pics Andrex. I love the look of this game, it seems TLC has made it exactly the way I wanted to see it, a perfect combination of the darkness of Batman and lightness of lego. And thank goodness Catwoman is still a jewel theif. I love the shots of Scarecrow, but is it just me, or does Joker look more angry than happpy? Batbrick is Back! >:-) -
A very awesome, stubby little tank Exobuilder! *y* The SNOTty design and interior are my favourite bits, and the guns look great too. My one criticism are that the sides not taken up by the wheels, look a little bare. Apart from that, this a beatiful little thing! But why is MicVash wearing my clothes? :-P Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Interactive Apocalypse 1.5! THE UPDATE!
Batbrick replied to Batbrick's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Alrighty, back from holiday, sorry for the late reply :-$ Thanks iamded, I'm glad you like the pointy bits, you should've seen the design of the base if the other choice had won! :-D Thanks for your comments on my creatures too. Reginald Jameson seems to be a shoe-in then, but isn't always the one you least suspect? >:-) Thanks for your comments dragonator. That fine Exobuilder, welcome to the team! *sweet* You may be killed off later though :-P Thanks for your very kind words. Thanks MicVash, I'm glad you liked my upgrades. Thanks for your comments on my factions too, I tried to think them out a bit. Thanks Lord of Pies! :'-) I love Reginald's head too, I'm glad I got the hospital set just for that one head. Thanks again! Thanks Hinckley :'-) I'm really glad you liked my mods, I tried to make it more like your comments last time, they really helped :-) Thanks for your comments on my creatures too. THANKS EVERYONE! *sweet* I'm really glad to be back, I love this place.... Batbrick is back! >:-) -
:-D This one is my favourite so far! Great job again Dr. S, I love these. Batbrick is back! >:-)

This is fantastic! :-D "Wheres me grog?" = GOLD! :-D Good to see the Dark Lord Vader working with me, the Dark Knight! Keep em up Piranha, anytime I get to hit you, drink grog, and shake Vader's hand is worth my time! Batbrick is Back! >:-)

I'm BAAAAACCKK!!!!!! *skull* *skull* *skull* Bet you all missed me, I know I missed you! *wub* Anyhoo, It seems I pulled a Yoda wioth this one, but I love the Tumbler, a small mod to removee the technic shooter and yellow peices and I'll be fine! The design is extremely hard to do in MF scale, and I say give TLC a pat on the back for this wonderful effort! The Penguin set is cool if a little gimmicky, but still looks good, and is a good way for a cheap Robin and Penguin, and great to see a Robin mobile. _______ HE DID! X-O Actually, my first season of Batman TAS came in today, I think you'll find, just by watching the spinetingling Two-Face part 2, that TAS is far darker than anything "The Batman" can conjure. Batbrick has Returned! >:-)
