  1. Thats alright, its an awesome machine! Can we get a shot of underneath please? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  2. Thats the spirit! X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  3. Evan Almighty, I hated it. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  4. A story based theme huh? Doesn't sound too great to me, I never really liked story based thems. I mean, what else are you supposed to do with Bionicles? You can just ignore the story of course, but it still limits imagination and is annoying. Oh well, we'll see what it is, seems TLC is heading in the right direction so far. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  5. Woops! I think there is some sort of curse on your name Hinckley, I've seen it misspelt a lot, time for a change? X-D Anyway, I don't care what the results say, a reclining robot never won any war! :-P Thats alright, I suggest you vote for me, I need to show that egotistical Hinckleberry that reclining robots NEVER win! As if! The only poor job was your lazy robot you fat couch potato! Just because you can't get off your fat behind doesn't mean your creations have to be lazy and sloppy too Hinckleberry! :-P (Like Hinckley, I am just kidding, but that does not mean I don't contain a burning hatred to all lazy boy robot choppers X-D ) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  6. Voted Toas as well, Hickey's is great but he can't stand up, I doubt the official set would do that. Plus he's annoying X-D Lord of Pies, my good friend, gets my vote for his awesome "chopper" bike! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  7. Some of my earlier endeavours that I sadly did not take pictures of took a lot of inspiration from the Indiana Jones flicks. I also took a lot of heavy inspiration from the many B dinosaur movies that existed, namely ones that took place on the cliche Island that Time Forgot and whatnot. Another one was the oiginal King Kong, which am proud to say I own on DVD, for the cheap, cheap price of five dollars. Don't talk to me about Son of Kong though, err, that was a horrid affair. My Lego creations were often dinosaur related, I did and still have a fascination with dinosaurs, so Jurassic Park and The Lost World were inspiration as well. I was surprised that you included Romancing the Stone in your list TheBrickster, as some consider that a part ripoff of Indy. I like it though, I'm a bit uncertain on the sequel: The Jewel of the Nile. My Deep Sea Walker (see sig) took a lot of inspiration from sea monster movies, like the original Godzilla, and a few forgettabl ones. I haven't seen all of 20, 000 leagues, but what I have, including the Kraken footage, did factor into thhe moc, atleast creatively. Thanks for this nice topic too TheBrickster, you certainly are a bit of a movie buff ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  8. I love it! A very clever, ingenious design The Penguin, that sure looks very mobile too. I love the idea of it, you've done it a lot of justice, and head od the Dwarve Banking Clan is very funny. Great work! *y* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  9. Plus those cyborgs will be extremely useful in mocs, and that dark blue and silver truck is a parts package for those colours. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  10. Thanks for the review Aayla, I love this set and its great to see another person interested in Batman. Now all you have to do is start watching the movies, then the cartoon series, then the comics, then the......... X-D I really recommend Two-Face's Escape as well, a great set for a great price. And BTW, the Green Dude as you call him is named Killer Croc, he is a killer with a freakish skin condition. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  11. Actually, I would cite one thing thats better this time round: No Repetition. We don't have mech after mech with this line, thats good news for me. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  12. Wow, thanks. It looks great too, good work, I love the way you incorporated the Spinosaurus set into this. I love that skellie down the bottom too, I guess the new arms aren't as bad as I though they were for dead people. Could we get a few more overall shots please? Its funny how you can manage to find all this foliage and jungle pieces isn't it? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  13. Why did you suddenly bring up the violence issue again? How old is that quote you took? Can we please just discuss the sets, I hate those violence issues. Thankyou :-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  14. No offense Grevious but I really hope the sets stick to the comics and their own world. The comics have all the best interpretations, and pulling stuff from them, and occasionally films and series (as in vehicles only, no scenes) is the best way to go. Plus I really don't want ape-Joker. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  15. $17 Aus, thats not bad. Not real good, but fair enough, thanks Soy! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  16. Thanks for these great reviews Brainbox, I never expected you to do a review for some reason. I love these mini sets, the Train in particular is great. I won't get any though, those Indy sets are coming in fast and I'm gonna need all the money I can muster. Still they are nifty little sets. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  17. I like him too, but since I'm limiting myself, I'll just have to hope he comes in an impulse. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  18. Isn't that how it always goes? :-D I'd be lucky to see the battle wheel, I'll have to order it sadly, no Toys'R'Us here... Batbrick Away! >:-)
  19. Thankyou, glad I could help. Wait a minute, you've Lost me X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  20. I actually like the use of a wrench as the handle, very clever, what so wrong about it? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  21. Yes, though I have no idea why Joker would want Venom. Still, it'll be good for Bane mocs. NO! Robin has gone Spiderman 3 on us! Looks like I was right about the new piece, like you I want the old one now, we can get tons of this one in the Agents sets. Lucky I already have two Robins, so I have two of that piece. Where did Chuck get that picture from? I haven't seen that one. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  22. Thanks for the double review, I like the Dwarf catapult but the real deal is the Tower Raid set. I love that Siege Tower and love that new armour, can't wait to get it. Thanks for the review! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  23. First look at Two-Face via a blurry Two-Face action figure, set to be released coinciding with the films release: Link here: http://www.darkhorizons.com/news08/080220c.php Gotta say, I love it. I wasn't expecting it to look perfectly half in half given the realism of the new films but this is great to me. Realistic, horrible scarring, a bulging, useless eye, and though not totally evenly split, still easily recognisable as having Two Faces! :'-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  24. Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. I bought it today, finally, and have to say its brilliant, far better than what I remember of it. So many iconic scenes, I may have to legofy them for a Bat Mocs'N'Mods Treat 3! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  25. Love you too :-P ... *wub* Really? No! X-D I really like Piranha's movie contest ideas, perhaps to simplify and expand it maybe a "Best Movie Scene EVER!" contest, where entrants make a vig based on their favourite movie scene from any movie ever. That way we could get a lot of diverse entries while not limiting the amount of people interested. And of course, I will continue to express my love for a sigfig vehicle contest, it would be a great sequel to the Eurobricks Neighborhood one. Batbrick Away! >:-)
