The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #6
Batbrick replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Good job Hinckley, it was a bit of a laugh. This is admittingly my least favourite one so far, while the Viking one focused on dreams and crazed antics, and the others a more closed story about the characters, this just seemed to contain too much randomness for a supposedly real world. Where did Copmike's mech come from? Why does Tiber want the boat anyway? Where did the ship come from? What the heck was that thing that flew across the screen? It just seemed to me that it included a lot of great constructions, but none of the clever skits or small moments I found in the others. Still made me laugh in a few places though, and your photography is excellent. Batbrick Away! -
Good work, but I think the head needs a change. Also, maybe this should be in the minifig customisation forum? Batbrick Away!

Congratulations imperialshadows, I hope you can cope with your new job! Batbrick Away!

Forgot to mention I bought a second Good Wizard impulse with the Cruncher Block Truck, that's how I built my Wizard assistant. I also received my Dark Victory Trade Paperback, which I thoroughly enjoyed! Batbrick Away!

Another great couple of comics KDog, your lighting is much better here too, even when Valkyrie and his Blacktron spaceship appear it was easy to see what was going on. Love the way you had these two meet as well, it seems typical of their silly personalities to go after something like this. Looking forward to the next one, and thanks for clearing up that base thing, I went through the series again yesterday and saw how it worked. Sad story about Vanilla too, thanks for sharing. But he's meant to be a loser, that's what makes him so hilarious! And a mothmobile would be cool in Lego. Yeah, i have that problem too, way too many other things I'm doing. Dark Victory arrived yesterday so I read that last night, fantastic book, and Tim Sale has really improved his art of women by the time of the book's release. Plus, Two-Face pistol whips the Joker, which is hilarious to see! I thought you liked the new series for some reason. I've always been a fan of the classics, especially the days of the original master and very first eps (at which stage he was not yet a decided time lord) That might be it, but I could've sworn I'd sen her somewhere else, maybe i was actually reading an older run, who knows.... Wow, I wonder how great makes me then Have you seen the trailer at all? The Joker bit is great, "Here's my card" *holds up Joker card* You were to distracted by her That said I did manage ot notice the white gloves part, but that's fine by me, easily fixed. I tried uploading them to youtube once but couldn't, I'll see what I can do with a more professional person Batbrick Away!

Thanks everyone! Thankyou ThePenguin, much appreciated friend. Yes, you may see another few Bat-Castle mocs, I'm toying with the idea of The Scarecrow, Joker (Jester?) and Poison Ivy Thanks Whitefang! Yes, it is like "What if Batman took place in medieval times? Like an Elseworlds tale! (Brainbox'll tell you what that is ) Thanks Oky, I'm glad you like the wordplay. Thanks for your comments, I might make another. , thanks buddy! Glad you like the details too, thanks for your comments on my humble vig. Thanks dragonator pal! I'm glad you think this is what Batman would be like in Castle times, thanks for your comments on my other vigs too. Took me a while but I saw it! Thanks Bluebard! Batbrick Away!

Hey guys. One of the key things that got me back into Lego was making animations with them. I run them at 15 frames per second and even came in top 3 of an Australian wide competition called "Youthweek", won a camera to go with it! (Unfortunately I idiotically gave to my brother as a gift, not knowing I'd ever need it) Thing is, I want to go back to making them, and here's where you guys come in. As you know I recently turned one year old, and got a bit of money. For anyone with know how, I used a logitech vidcam with the program "Logitech imagestudio" last time, but it was pretty mediocre. What I need to know is a better program to use for my second hobby, and what kind of camera would work well. Thanks to those who can help me! Batbrick Away! EDIT by Hinckley: I edited the title so your name was spelled correctly.

Review: 7627 Indiana Jones - Temple of the Crystal Skull
Batbrick replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
Damn, you've convinced me to get it now, thanks for the review, tan is my favourite colour in Lego! Batbrick Away! -
Ah, I see. So I was right.........kinda..... Thanks. Amateur, take a few lessons from the king Here. Was that the Tie Fighter or Tie advanced? I only got the Tie Advanced, don't recall a fighter mini. Curious that you like the Dwarf Mine Defender when a lot of people complained at the catapult. Was it because of your first dwarf? Oh dear......It was...er....slightly understandable though..wasn't it? , true, I wonder if anyone even reads what we talk about anymore Canary .... And umm, are you two together? *point at Bizarro and Brainbox* No problem, the interview was very....interesting... You seem to assume I haven't done so enough already! Ah, yes. A little scary now how much we have in common (sometimes I'm thankful for your awful puns!) as I am a tidy person by nature, especially in my Lego displays. Infact, I tend to change something several times daily in my castle and Batman displays. It's really a matter of me wanting to keep tidy, but there is simply too much too keep tidy Thanks for that, always interesting to know more about you, good or not.... I can't figure out, are you sixteen or seventeen, I can't tell? (Sorry if that is too private) , curious that the biggest hobbies in our lives are the ones already diuscussed here, now if only I could get people interested in Firefly... Batbrick Away!

Green? Red? Gold? Black? Hmmmm, I'll go with classic green thanks, people will actually recognise it! Thanks too. Batbrick Away!

Thanks hollisbrick, I hope the skeleton BP comes out soon too. Thankyou imperialshadows, I was pretty happy with how I managed to make these with no unpurist techniques so thanks. I was surprised how the witch came out too, but I'm rather happy with her I wish the torso for the wizard was printed too, because I included the manbag to cover a bit of the plain torso. Oh really? Another week!? Must go make more Castley things! Thankyou Asuka, I'm glad the apprentice turned out right. Thanks, I'm not sure what the coucilman is doing with a torch, but I like him, so thanks. I don't mind it, al my Exo-hair says on fine. I plan on getting all these sets, they all have wonderful bits. Gold Hunt has extremey useful (must have!) gold tiles as gold bricks, great orange pieces, an awesome jet, a gold hairpiece and gun, two cool evil henchmen, a cool car and a nice Agent fig. Jetpack pursuit has one of those awesome and useful mechanical hand arms, which are great. It also has a cool android face, a cool agent, nice hairpieces, and decent vehicles. Swamp Hunt has two dark green crocodiles, that awesome metal jaw piece, a nice badguy, cool motorbike, two of those great barbed wire pieces, a map, foliage galore and other nice bits. And don't even get me started on the big sets... Batbrick Away!

Yes! Got this posted before Castle month ends, win! Basically, I love the new castle line, and as much as I love army building, it's the special figs I love. I'm talking about these guys: It only just occurred recently to me that I could expand my world, and these are the guys I created. First of all, the Dark Wizard's bodyguards: I'm happy with them as they look more nightmarish compared to the rest of the army. Now, here is the church councilman: I came up with a great way to put the pouch on and keep the cape straight, you put one tag under and the other cape tag over it. Since I bought another Good Wizard impulse recently, here is my Wizard's apprentice next to his master: Now, I really wanted to add a Witch. This lady is a classic witch, not on any one side, basically an evil lady, I think she's and improvement over Willy: And lastly of course, the Dark Knight, a mysterious Rider who carries out justice, whether for or against the Crown: Thanks for looking and tell me what you think! He's growing on me. It's mainly the bleach that I'm missing, it's a character essential. Joker is a very dapper character, always clean and whatnot, so I don't see why he is so grubby. I guess the best way to describe it is that as a character the Joker is meant to blow everything away, be totally out of comprehension to the rest of the world and basically be totally out there. The TDK Joker seems to fit right in the realistic 'verse. Still, he has the character down pat, I love the "Here's my card" scene, so casual! Yes, it is looking to be a great film and a great interpretation, thoughm ore of an elseworlds tale than a true Joker still....Funny thing, Brainbox is a bigger comic geek than I am yet he is the one who has no problem with it. it was an action figure doll that has a few released pics of Ah, he did say it first, my mistake. No I'm not using that torso, i'm using the cruncher Block one, as I knew the Lupin one didn't come in that set. I like the Cruncher Block one better anyway, as it has the lines and blue (the Tales of the Demon Malone has a blue tint to his suit) colour, plus it is more proper in a way. That is rather strange, as I think the Indy head works much better as Bullock, it has his brown whiskers and slap black (or a grey fedora as you are) hair on him ands he IS Bullock. I don't quite understand why use Cannonball taylor, who make a great Salvatore Maroni with brown hair btw, as the Cruncher Block head already has the classic Ra's look, add the whiskers and beard, plus your hair and he IS Ra's. Still, would youp lease post a pic when you're done? Oh, never mind. Yeah, me too. I have (thanks to you and BB1) Snake Oiler head with Cruncher Block torso as Matches Malone. Speed Racer blue shirt with Grey Ghost smug looking face and black exo-force (or normal) hair is Dick Grayson. Smiley Spritle with mechanic red shirt, sand blue jeans and black Robin hair makes for a great Tim Drake. Ra's already said for me. Trixie pouty face with Castle Princess brown hair, revolver and Marion body makes for a nice Talia Al Ghul. And grey hair over Cruncher Block's Driver with appropriate torso makes for an effective leslie Thompkins. Batbrick Away!

If TLG brings back the Wild West theme,
Batbrick replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm sorry to say this, but I think we have enough Wild West topics already Klaus-Deiter. No offense intended, but I think we should let the other topics cool down first EDIT: I may be wrong though, I usually am! As for me, i'd love to see more salesmen mostly as suits are something TLC needs to make more of! Batbrick Away! -
A simply awesome moc ThePenguin! My words cannot describe how much I love this, your dwarven creations are always a blast but this is superb! Great use of those mottled green rock pieces on the sides of the inn, and I love the entrance with the stones and dwarf shields, simply beautiful The roof is the only bit I don't like, mainly because of the gap. Great inside too, I love the flames and details, especially the chef and drinks area. The first floor is even better, nice tables and a simply ingenious fireplace design there, extremely clever. Thankyou very much friend for including me, thankjs for wishing me a happy birthday, you certainly made it better Great bar brawl too, you certainly had me laughing, you have great skill in positioning minifigs in your creations, thankyou for sharing this delightful creation with us. Okay, I'm getting this in before Castle month ends, I really wanted to make something before it finished. Seeing the cool run of Starwars-turned-castle vigs, I decided to create one myself, with who else but Batman? Here we go then: The mysterious Dark Knight has caught the infamous foe Killer Orc, who is to be returned to Arkham Dungeon on the eastern hills: No one knows this mysterious foe, yet he captures the worst of the Crown Kingdom's enemies! The Bat Knight is triumphant! Thanks for looking and comments and criticism welcome. Batbrick Away!

Got the Cruncher Block vs Racer X set yesterday, a pretty good set with an awesome aquarium and Lego paintings, but the real stars are the wonderful figs! Batbrick Away!
