  1. While I think we can all say that it's most likely the Sian I do agree with an idea a few people have mentioned, and that's a working convertible top. That would be a nice extra function as well as providing a point of difference to the other supercars already released. Even though mine will most likely be a shelf queen it would be a good option. I'm not sold on the LR green if that's what they go with but it won't stop me from getting it
  2. Totally agree. I see a lot of MOCs and I think they are fantastic but then I see the cost of putting one together and my jaw hits the floor. If TLG competed on the same level as the MOC-ers out there I'd only be able to afford about 3 sets before I was broke :) I have no doubt that TLG designers would be capable of going toe-to-toe with just about any MOC-er out there if they were not bound to cost and part restrictions. I'm thankful for what we've got and I will continue to look at MOCs with envy and indulge in the odd alternate build of some sets. Anyway back to the Lambo, here's hoping we have something new to talk about soon. Looks like they've done a pretty good job of hiding details and pics......unfortunately :)
  3. Thinking back to the Land Rover there was a lot of stud use there to get the shape and finish. The fact this model has a lot of studs also maybe an indication the real deal will be similar. Again I too would much prefer the metallic green with gold wheels. As others have said, maybe they've got themselves an early version of the Lambo and copied that. I don't think the wheels being Porsche's IP matters to people that are making copies of it :) And maybe the wheels are the biggest secret of the new set. I'd like the bonnet to look a bit cleaner but besides that it's not bad
  4. I'd say both of you are probably right there because there has been a few licensed sets that have a b-model. I can't say I know too much of the construction sets but i'm lead to believe there have been a couple there that do Also the Corvette (b-model looked much better imo) and BMW have B-models, the Mack Anthem also to name a few. I can understand the some of the others like the Bugatti, Porsche, LR etc not supplying B-models though but aren't we supposed to be able to pull them apart and make something ourselves anyway? (i'm not one of them, give me instructions :))
  5. We've seen news on the Charger and the Ducati, can we please get some news on the Osprey now? :)
  6. With the release of "official" pics of the charger, surely we can't be far away from images being released of the other H2 sets
  7. I can see this making it's way into my collection
  8. I too am looking forward to their release. On a side note: It's a cool video for the Top Gear set but seems to be an odd time to bring it out.
  9. This only makes 3. It will be interesting to see how many they may make in the future. I'd be surprised if the next ultimate is not some type of machinery though. So basically all we know atm is that it's out in June, it's olive green and has gold wheels?
  10. The only online video of a Lego car release that i've seen lately is that of the new Lego Creator Fiat 500
  11. Metallic green would have been better but I'm still getting it though ?
  12. Am I the only interested to see what this set is like? There doesn't seem to be much hype around this set
  13. You'd have to imagine that it would come in somewhere close to that or the Bugatti. On a side note: I found it interesting that even though the Land Rover is not considered part of the "ultimate" range, it's part count is quite similar to that of the Porsche. So even though it may not be considered one it will sit proudly next to my Porsche, Bugatti and inevitable Lambo
  14. I'm guessing any new info on the lambo is quite scarce at the moment
  15. It would be a shame if they didn't make use of the fat rear tyre. Given the Ducati is a Superbike it would be perfect for it
  16. I might have to look at something like this to finish filling mine up
  17. I'm torn on this, if they don't go the full old school one (and not something like the very ordinary vette) I wouldn't mind a decent 42077 size with mid engine and all those pipes
  18. It's going look good next to the Bugatti and Porsche. I'm not fussed on the functions as it's just going to be a shelf queen for me
  19. Looking forward to this set also. Hopefully lego do the Ducati justice. I like the idea of the brake discs being used
  20. Personally I think this Osprey set has the potential to be something pretty good
  21. As a motoring guy and one who's lego basically sits on a shelf after building, I'm very much looking forward to the Lamborghini and Ducati. Much more than bank account any way :)
  22. When they say "light up your emotions" could that mean that it will come with a lights system? Or am I reading too much into it?
