  1. If the Lambo is the same size as the Corvette, McLaren and Bugatti I'm going to need to rebuild my car transporter :)
  2. If they get the scale right, this would be another use for the Mclaren F1 wheel covers
  3. I saw somewhere where someone had made a Peugeot 9x8 and it looked really good but i'm pretty sure it was made out of standard bricks and not technic So in summary, this probably doesn't help :)
  4. I think this is the first time I've really noticed things being this quiet regarding the upcoming wave of sets. Is it a case of there's just a lack of new info? And is that normal for this time of year? Or is it a lack of general enthusiasm for the sets to come?
  5. There's no word on the livery of the Camaro at this stage so this may not even be an issue
  6. Looking forward to the Peugeot if for nothing more than a shelf queen next to the rest of cars. It could also serve as a nice update to the 42039 LeMans car. Hopefully they stick with the grey and bright green highlights
  7. I'd assume those that don't like applying stickers are probably not going to like the Nascar :)
  8. While the prices are definitely a blow, I won't say it's out of my budget but it definitely makes me more prudent when buying sets and looking for bargains. Much like in the past, if a set is what "I consider too much" then I just wait for sales
  9. Does anyone in Australia know when the Ferrari Daytona is going to hit the regular retailers? I see the Optimus Prime set is available today but no sign of the Daytona or other Technic Aug 1 sets
  10. Not to be critical, as it's better than what I could do, they look better from a far. Need to find a way to get a sharper edge to the silver
  11. Let me know when they do. I'm yet to see a good deal on Amazon in Australia for anything that i've wanted
  12. Because we always seem to get screwed in Australia that's why :) I can't see the value in the price hike either except for maybe it's a "Ferrari". With freight costs these days we should be thankful it's under $1000
  13. That Pagani is a beast. I wouldn't know where to start to build something like that, let alone have enough pieces to do it. If Lego released this set I would buy it in a second as it would sit perfectly with the other 4 supercars
  14. How you can pick that from a promo photo, where they are generally made to look their best, is beyond me. You may very well be right but i'm happy to wait and see
  15. That's fine as long as you throw out everything else inside the Lambo box
  16. I know the functions are what separate technic from some of the other lego themes but I'll be honest, I really like the supercar series, I have all three so far and they make great shelf queens. So as far as that goes, I love it, I think it looks great and it's going to sit well with the rest. Having said that, I will be waiting for the discounts before I purchase one :)
  17. The rims aren't like the previous supercars are they? Where the rim edge covers part of the tyre sidewall to give the appearance of low profile?
  18. So the question must be asked, do you think the standard version will be cheaper than the slipcase version? Or will it just be normal pricing across the board and gimmick for the "resellers"
  19. New Ferrari looks good if true. I'll let the experts here tell me what's new though as I'm not too good at spotting new parts etc
  20. I am happily proven wrong then, lets hope the boffins at Lego HQ are watching
  21. I like the idea of the retractable roof but i'm guessing with the size of a lego engine in a mid-engine car might make that a bit difficult. I hope they can prove me wrong however
  22. Is there any truth to the rumour the latest UCS Supercar is going to be delayed to next year?
  23. I'd like to be proven wrong but I feel the Koenigsegg and Pagani are too niche. Has to be a brand every Tom, Dick and Harry knows
  24. Hopefully this is the beginning of a steady stream of info regarding the new 2H sets
  25. I haven't read the whole topic so apologies if it's been brought up already, but I saw somewhere that the new technic F1 car that's coming in 2022 is a McLaren. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I mean i'll be getting it whether it is or isn't but it would be good to know
