I believe @Renown was guessing about the $40. I don't think he had any specific knowledge. However, the last thing Lego's going to do is give us another Snowspeeder. We literally just got one last year. Plus, a Wampa Cave could work with a decent-sized cave, a Wampa, a Tauntaun, Luke, Han, and @Kit Figsto's Ghost Obi-Wan. And, given this wave's proclivity for overpricing the sets, it wouldn't surprise me to get a $40 Hoth set without a Snowspeeder. The GR-75 would work at $40 if it's a 4+ set. Since the Action Battles sets came out last year with that designation, I wouldn't be surprised if that was their goal. $40 for a 40th Anniversary set that's 4+! It's all coming together now!

Since there's no new movie, we probably won't see another wave until Jan 2021, unless Lego decides to release that wave early. Also, welcome to the forum!

I mean, back to the stomping, AT-AT already steals that beat. Maybe a Wampa cave? Tauntaun Patrol? I'm keeping both options open (ESB + Count Dooku). EDIT: Or my long-awaited Rebel Transport?

I highly doubt we're going to get two large scale duels sets, for the same reason we won't see two small duel sets. I don't think we're gonna see a Duel on Geonosis, especially since there's already a Death Star Final Duel. It's much more likely a reference to the Fall D2C, which might be something Count Dooku related (and also may be Geonosis related ), it's a Solar Sailor, or an Invisible Hand. Actually, the stomping could also be a clue, but that's a bit of a stretch. I'm thinking if the clues point in Dooku's direction, but not in the direction of a Solar Sailor or a Duel (again, not with DS II Duel), it's most likely a Petranaki D2C, with stomping beasts, our beloved Count, and a good contingent of figures (20+ being Battle Droids of various make).

Both of these are great ideas. I like how outside the box the Coruscant set is. I honestly feel that if they did more creative SW sets, the theme would thrive. Anyways, so Fallen Order came up in the 2020 thread, so I'm throwing out a few ideas. Stinger Mantis ($129.99): Cal Kestis, Greez Dritus, Cere Junda, Merrin, BD-1, Darth Vader, Second Sister. Purge Troopers Battle Pack: 2x Purge Troopers, 2x Scout Troopers. 13th Battalion Troopers Battle Pack: 3x 13th Troopers, Jaro Tapal.

Not in a battle pack, though. It worked for Inferno Squad, not so much the cast of Fallen Order. Solar Sailor? That's the only set I could see them tossing in so randomly.

The two arguments do seem to blend though, (not on your part, but in general). What can I say? People like new molds, it's exciting, especially when it gets us new or fan-demanded characters. I'm still going to argue that Lego makes a ton of one-off molds, and Ahsoka's lekku are still too long. Some things can be waved due to the medium, I agree. But this isn't really one of them. If you like the reuse, that's fine, but it is a bit detracting. It makes Ahsoka look old, in all honesty. And nothing's wrong with the Magna Guard, I just threw out the example. I'm almost positive Lego might make a new mold for one though, even if just for the uncloaked version.

Okay, in Anakin's Fighter add one figure (Say, Wat Tambor), in Grievous' Starfighter add about two figures (Cody, Magna Guard), voila, three new characters, three new molds. Give Ahsoka proper Lekku (her lekku grows over time, no way in hell she should have lekku from 20 years later now). 4 new molds for characters people do care about. People have wanted Cody for years! A Magna Guard would be quite welcome, Wat Tambor for those who want to complete the CIS Council, and Ahsoka completely decked out for the discerning fan (who prefers accuracy over cost-cutting). Also, maybe add/change sets (I-TS, I rest my case). Lego makes wild, unpredictable decisions, and many are quite questionable. This isn't really about molds per se, but characters that provide incentive for the purchase. I mean, they made freakin' Boolio, and we'll never see him again. Maybe his species, fine, but it's still puzzling why he gets to be made, and characters people have requesting for years get ignored. There's absolutely no excuse not to have Cody by now, none. I say people have legitimate concerns with Lego's minifig strategy.

In addition to the comments about 4-LOM and the Rebel Trooper, Finn's hair isn't new. It first debuted in 2016 with Black Panthers sets. It's close, but I'd still argue a new piece would be better. TCW one doesn't exactly need changing, imo, and Lloyd's is too long in the front. It would still look off.

The first two problems bother me quite a bit, the 2015-2016 Hoth Rebels are the best. However, looking at Anakin's hair from a promotional movie photo, Anakin's TCW hair is the most accurate piece. Old Luke/Sirius' hairpiece would be too long, and Lloyd's hair is also off. Not even going to touch Mad-Eye's hairpiece, which I've seen used. They'd need a new hairpiece altogether for a ROTS Anakin. S7 Anakin may have hair befitting Lloyd's, but that's the show not the movie.

That would suck so bad. At least give us repeats of characters we want (Electro, Shocker, Rhino) not the same old tired Dock Ock, Venom and Vulture.

@MAB Excellent ideas, even though we've gotten a few of those in past CMF series, I'm sure they could always bring something new to the concept. I don't if licenses are allowed here, so apologies in advance Scooby-Doo Series: Even though we got sets in 2015, I think that more could've come from it. 1. Fred Jones. Comes with flashlight and a trap blueprint, maybe a molded ascot. 2. Daphne Blake. Comes with Scooby Snax box and Scrappy-Doo. New dual-molded legs. 3. Velma Dinkley. Comes with magnifying glass and a book on the paranormal. New dual-molded legs. 4. Shaggy Rogers. Comes with a sandwich mold and of course, Scooby-Doo. Maybe red shirt/blue pants version? 5. Sheriff Stone (Mystery Incorporated): New hat/hair mold, two faces, and handcuffs. 6. Thorn. Comes with new guitar. 7. Dusk. Comes with drums (side note, there should be a legit drummer CMF) 8. Luna. Comes with keyboard. 9. Phantom Virus 10. Alien Invader. Comes with three unmasked heads (like the Mime) 11. Crystal. Human disguise, comes with Amber (Lab disguise) 12. Space Kook. 13. Captain Cutler. Either a new "pale gold" color, or maybe all spring green. 14. Phantom Shadow. Comes with a chain. 15. Elias Kingston. 16. Skeleton Men. Also comes with 3 unmasked heads.

I like this idea a lot. I picked a few favorites of mine. The Rapunzel-type is really creative, too.

I don't know how strong just molding the visor itself would be, maybe that's why they need two shells (one for the translucent visor, one for the helmet itself) thus making it supremely bulky. If they could keep the current mold but just add a visor without too much fuss, that would probably work well.

That's interesting. The Snowspeeders are quite tight as is where the pilots are concerned, so that would make sense. Lego's (apparent) laziness saved our beloved helmets!

The Resistance pilots have much sleeker, form-fitting helmets, while the Rebel pilot helmets are quite bulky. There's really no way to dual-mold the Rebel helmet without it coming out oversized. It's unfortunate. They should honestly just make more sets a la Sandspeeder, so we can get more pilot variety (As well as rereleasing Biggs and Porkins. That female pilot was a Godsend). Most everyone hated it? And unlike the new Stormtrooper helmet, we didn't get a chance for it to grow on us (maybe for the best). Yeah, I'm not a huge modder, but I'm probably gonna leave off the first two cylinders from the base.

That cannon on the AAT is a nightmare. Hopefully we can mod it with ease. I see what they were thinking, but there's no need for that many cylinders.

Correct, a Lego set doesn't have to be completely canon, but generally, we prefer it that way. It's great we got Ahsoka and a 332nd in the AAT, but I'm sure more of us were hoping for a Mandalore based set than a mix-n-match. Even so, would you really want Stormtroopers in a Yavin IV set? I know I don't, that may be just me. I do want Yavin IV to get a set, don't get me wrong. It is noticeable that all of the current playsets have some sort of canonical conflict. Yes, Yavin was evacuated, but afaik, there's no ground battle in which the Rebels fought off Imperial troops. Ewok Village is located on a planet controlled by the Empire, it's less of a stretch to assume a random patrol getting mixed into off-screen conflict. Let's leave UCS aside for a minute to focus on the canonicity of regular retail playsets. Vehicles do throw in the occasional unrelated figure, however by and large location sets are accurate in who's present. Keeping it recent, 2013's Duel on Geonosis had Poggle, who doesn't really belong, but aside from that, thinking on Takodana, Snoke's Throne, Final Duel, Rathtar Escape, and so on have all had minifigs who were present or at least around during those events. Maybe they can throw in a TIE and call it a day, but they shouldn't. Yavin IV is a rebel base and should only feature rebel minifigs. Lego might not be willing to do that though. Echo Base gets a pass for this because of the Battle of Hoth. At the end of it all, I guess my point is this: You associate Stormtroopers with Endor (Ewok Village) not so much Yavin IV. Anyway, as to the droids on Coruscant, like with the Yavin IV example, they could but they shouldn't. Either try to avoid conflict altogether (like I propose for Yavin) , or just make the building an Architecture-styled set with a plaque of about a dozen figures (ROTS Jedi High Council). There are work arounds to the conflict angle without manufacturing it. I do like your Clone Wars wave, I'd include Axe and Kickback in the V-19 for the pilots.

Assuming you mean Yavin IV, Ewok Village made sense due to the fact it's still Battle of Endor related, regardless of where the conflict was. Alternatively, you could argue that said Imperials stumbled upon the Village during patrol (or whatever). Random Stormtroopers would detract from Yavin IV's presence, seeing as how it's only discovered by the Empire just prior to the Battle of Yavin. Not sure where the Seppies come in, unless you mean a Jedi Temple, but that makes even less sense (given that, canonically, we haven't seen the ground Battle of Coruscant). Yes, there's the 2003 series, but you get my point. Even still, I'm down for a Theed Palace like I posited above. Might not happen before the UCS Gunship, but it is a good candidate.

Recently I watched TPM (first time in years), and I actually liked it. Naboo is one of the best locales in a Star Wars movie, and Theed Palace is sort of iconic. It's also unique architecture. For the "Worst" Star Wars film, it has more sets than Empire or Jedi. Naboo is that movie's Hoth, so I can see it doing quite well. And yes, I love clones, but that Palace Battle was something out of James Bond (Jedi Only Live Twice anyone? ) Ideally, it would look like this: Battle of Theed ($299.99): Pretty much the palace, with a scaled-down flash speeder, maybe a droid cart of some kind. Padme Amidala (Battle Dress), Captain Panaka, Obi-Wan Kenobi (New Hair), Qui-Gon Jinn, 2 Royal Guards (Sleek Helmet), Security Officer (Panaka Hat), Security Guard, Nute Gunray Rune Haako, Darth Maul, Battle Droid Commander, 2 Security Battle Droids, 2 Battle Droids, 2 Droidekas. Thing to keep in mind as well, any MBS-style set (whether called that or not) must have conflict, in some way. That might prevent a Jedi Temple (though it could still be a UCS set), but Yavin IV might get the shaft since there's no real conflict there (aside from the Battlefront games), throwing in a Stormtrooper or two in a Yavin IV set may seem a bit jarring. Cloud City's conflict is self explanatory, same with Assault on Hoth and taking things further, the Death Star. Other than Theed, maybe Petranaki could get made after all these years, but if they aren't going to mold the beasts, I'd only have minor interest. For the OT, Endor could see another set (Ewok Village also proving my conflict point), maybe the bunker and some trees.

I was fortunate enough to get 3 of the AT-RTs and Utapau Troopers around release (and the BARC with Sidecar), but as a huge 212th fan, I was looking for a few extra 212th members. I've bought 3 from two different sellers, and it set me back around $60 . So, I'm kind of hoping Lego fixes this by reintroducing more clones into the ecosystem. I'm pretty sure that 501st set is going to sell like the Mandalorian Battle Pack, if not better, people calmed down on the Mando pack, they might not with the 501st set.

Yeah, I don't understand why army builders are getting ridiculous to find. I feel your pain because I too am debating getting a few extra Phase I troopers, and this kind of restricts your options.
