I disagree. It was one of the best sets of 2020 depicting the most iconic scene in all of Star Wars. It is a real kick in the guts to to have this, the Nebulon B and other similar sets as NA exclusives. Keep con exclusives as figures that are actually rare and don’t have much as quality as sets. I don’t mind Lego making a S@H exclusive $100 400pcs set in limited numbers, as long it’s available worldwide. Anyway, I’m a bit disappointed about the Shuttles design now there’s better views. If it’s $80 in the US, then the price will be the same in Australia as 75221 at $150 iirc, so a bit overpriced. I will still get because I don’t have a lambda and have been looking forward to it, but may try to mod it to the 75094 design. -

I ordered the X-wing last week and Trouble on Tatooine today. I was lucky with that one as the retailer has sold almost 30 in the 4 hours or so it was available. I’ll probably get the TIE eventually as well for an Interceptor MOC. -

We’ve recently had General Veers. Aragog has been made as well. Maybe Pycelle and Walter Donovan? -

This is a lot of sets that are only cartoons or Mando and the only film set is micro scale. My first thought was that this sounds too good to be true for the younger MandR crowd and it was just Ryan trolling again. I am also disappointed there’s nothing like those two. Really the only sets that interest me are the Mandalorian fighter and the Shuttle. Possibly the Aquitens if there is a green lightsaber. More interested in the Tatooine homestead than a UCS Fartoo. Pure speculation but I’m still hoping 75313 is a rerelease of 75192. -

It looks like the the Mando set and the X-wing will S@H exclusives and the scalpers have already bought them all and set the ebay prices as $90 and $190 already. -

The armour looks to be from Ninjago to me. Not really a problem to just leave it off. The inclusion of the husky and the steepness of the roof implies it would located in somewhere like Scandinavia so adding snow would be a great mod. The price doesn’t seem justified though. It doesn’t look to be worth $A200 but I fear it might be $220 or up to $250. -

We don’t really have villages in Australia. I live in a city of >1 million and here the 2019 A-wing and AT-ST barely lasted a month. The 501st all of a few days and Trouble on Tatooine was sold out by 30 December in the local Lego branded store. None of the 2021 sets of any theme are available outside of Lego stores yet. -

More likely Covid messing with supply chains. None of the 2021 sets are available here yet, except in Lego stores. -

MandR pretty much said the same a few weeks ago. $200 USD, $250-350USD, and something larger in the spring if I remember correctly. My guess is 75309 to be the Republican Gunship. Another thought I had is that 75313 could be a rerelease of 75192. -
What’s ‘Kinko’s’ precious? Also why would you be automatically eating the rattlesnake if you go into the shadows? Mando looks a bit too poo brown for mine. Good review.

Perhaps but probably a T-70 or T-85 given it is likely to be set after the sequel trilogy. Only possibility for 2021 is a Bad Batch shuttle however. -

40416 Ice skating rink. Need to spend $209 to get it in Australia. Mando, X-wing, TIE, and MF together are $211. We get a really poor deal with GWPs, not to mention outdoor ice rinks don’t really exist here and certainly not at Christmas time. It looks like it was around the start of April this year we had the set list for 2020 2HY. -

If you buy all four 2021 sets, it’s just enough to get the GWP. Not that anything is ever in stock anyway. -

ANH Han Solo is almost as rare as well. The only affordable set he’s been in since the last MF microfighter in 2014, is the 2018 Cantina. Another thought I’ve had about this wave is that ‘the budget’ hasn’t been reduced and is instead put towards having some of the sets available for much longer.(I know MandR had the same thought as well) So 75295, 75300, and 75301 being on shelves for 2 years perhaps so they’re always available for kids and new collectors. That would be a marked difference from when the 2019 A-wing and AT-ST lasted all of 6 weeks. -

The Shuttle Luke has his tunic undone, such as when Vader dies or at the celebration. (Had a better look now, it’s seems he’s the same.) I seem to be missing part of my ear. I’m just going to let the rest through to the keeper. -

Most of those that are currently available are in much more expensive sets. The Luke in the shuttle is different from the Final Duel minifig. -

$60 including tax would be the same price as the US. We get a $10 Australia tax. The X-wing isn’t up yet but the lowest I expect it to be $80 but possibly $100. -

That’s not how cost accounting works! Focusing their product line on the most expensive item could lead to a death spiral where overheads are applied to the detriment of all products. Without knowing the except amounts figures and pieces cost to produce against the expected volume of sales, it is nebulous to discuss the cost of a minifig in a set relative to other products. -
Updated the nose and cannons. I think I’ve had enough of modding for now.

Not that I usually care too much about minifigs, the choices for the shuttle seem odd. I would have very much preferred Endor camouflage characters. However, Luke with his tunic undone is great for the two scenes that he appeared in that way in Jedi. I believe that minifig has only appeared in the UCS Endor village. For the other scene on the ramp of the shuttle, the question is whether Vader will have eyebrows or not under his helmet. -

It looks like Jaws has a lot of support in the Brickset comments and that is what I voted for. It could be close. There might be so many SW votes that it’s split between Jar Jar, Rex, Ahsoka, or a 501st. So Mando Chapter 13 -

Perhaps Lego designed 2014 to be prequel heavy knowing that 2015-2020 would be focused on the sequels? 1. I still think R2 is a plate too high. 2. It is a new design. No. 69279. Appeared first in the NES and also Sesame Street. 4. It looks like the wings are attached with black technic pins. Probably an easy mod to swap them for 2L axles. The mechanism intrigues me the most out of this wave. It does look like a significant improvement.
