There are still quite noticeable gaps in the colour palette; only in 2022 did we get Medium Tan (a skin tone between Light Nougat and Nougat), and we are still missing the return of Very Light Bluish Grey, which I want for Star Wars sets (ships like X-wings and Snowspeeders are a shade between LEGO’s White and Light Bley).

OK; I did not realise that! BrickLink has them listed as different colours, but I suppose that may just be another of their odd decisions regarding colours.

That is adorable!! Fortunately, the only exclusive element seems to be the ‘DS23’ sticker on the front, so it should be fairly easy to reverse engineer. One interesting thing is the purple Spaceman, since the torso has not been in production since CMF Series 22 in 2022! I wonder if that means that we are getting him somewhere else, or just that LEGO printed the CS logo onto a purple torso again as a designer exclusive. 🤔 Something else is that we got confirmation of Engineer and Mech-Operator divisions via the description (Pilots (red) and Scientists (yellow) already existed); with pink, green, orange, and brown undefined, which ones do we think are the newly-revealed divisions? My guess is that green would be Mech-Operators (for obvious reasons), but I am not sure about Engineers (I use brown for Engineers, but I am curious as to the official word). I think that the entire structure is purple - Note the difference in colour between the main build and the droid on the right side of the packaging. BTW, has anyone posted pictures of their set built?

None have the correct blue eyes, but Cassian’s head suits him and is approximately the right skin-tone.

Teal says hi (to be fair, it is a slightly new shade, but it is effectively the same colour). The Lightyear ship uses the same trans-yellow that has existed since Classic Space began; it may look a bit different due to the switch to MABS, though.

The only source for multiple 4+ sets and a set being cancelled is my earlier meme post. @Falconfan1414 said that there is at least one 4+ set coming, and TandN hinted at a BtAS Batmobile; there are still five sets overall coming in 2024 (to include the Gotham skyline art piece).

I was actually being serious this time! I meant that I would be OK with DC mechs if they were used as a way to give us desirable characters; you are correct, however, in that they will most likely just be Bats, Joker, and Harley. 🫤 You mean the guy that showed up as a post-credits cameo in Black Adam? Must be a pretty obscure character, since he got about as much screen time as Hercules in Thor: Love and Thunder! He says that we are getting a BtAS Batmobile sometime in 1HY 2024.

I would actually accept mechs, if that is how we get other characters besides Batman! Also, a number of characters are well-suited to having mechs (such as Lex, Batman, Cyborg, Green Lantern, etc).

That would also work (swapping the red print for blue)! I was trying to think of how the set could be expanded while still retaining the general size of the original tower (as opposed to making as big as the LKC or even the Creator 3-in-1); the tower is built over water, so the knights could be trying to retrieve their stolen gold (or something to that effect for the narrative of the set).

I just realised that if LEGO gives Majisto an updated version of his classic torso design, then they could probably just reprint it onto a green torso for a Forestman. Alternatively, they could reuse the LKC farmer’s torso print on a green torso. Maybe pairing it with an updated Sea Serpent, similarly to the Eldorado Fortress remake? 🤔

The tower is somewhat of a weird size, though; too big for a GWP, but too small for a $100+ set. I can see a scaled-up version, or maybe a Castle combo pack of sorts with a collection of smaller builds.

I agree - Wolfpack Renegades is just begging to be remade as a GWP!

While I would not put much stock in the LKC instruction commentary (as they included references to all classic Castle subthemes), we are getting a “crook” Minifig in the village. The prelim has a Minifig with a Forestmen’s cap, so this could just be describing Forestmen/Dark Forest, but Wolfpack is a definite possibility.

Of course they will - What other characters are there, anyway? Joker and Harley, sure, but they are Batman-adjacent and can be included in his sets.

Nice job! I would recommend bulking up the Dooku vs. Yaddle set with some gears to control the turntables (and maybe a lever to raise/lower the door), and adding pre-disfigurement Sith Palpatine (Emperor reuse with The Senate head); also, Dooku would look better with the widow's peak hair. The BARC looks good, but it needs to be swapped out for a Crab Droid! Finally, the "No disintegrations" diorama is excellent and would make a perfect set.
