I wonder what the japanese numberplate refers to, like what town or prefecture? -

Found a video how a Targa Turbo looks like. Just a shame they didn't use one set. I think only a coule of pieces would be missing when using one set for the mod. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW7NxmyYljU -

Mine shows in warehouse. Lets see if they take it out for no reason. I ordered right after midnight. I guess they only made like 37 GWPs again! -
REVIEW: 10295 Porsche 911 Turbo/Targa
Polarlicht replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Can you still switch around the versions easy? Like just remove the rear axle and switch to the smaller one without taking things apart too much? -

I wonder why they went with clear lights at the front and "opague" at the back? -
Finally the parts order arrived, so i added the ball and socket pieces and the new diffs to get a better ratio for offroading. Also added a rear diff-lock. To unlock it, i just remove one 20tooth gear off the assembly and put it on the red pin on the roof. Front facia is now straight due to shock absorber- and L motor attachment reasons...

But some pictures look like that you have extra parts to build both axles and roofs and such.... -

So how is the switchover to the other version? Do you build one version and if you want the other one you have to disassemble a lot, or is it like with the Mustang where you have tons of extra parts to build the other versions roof and different axle and such without disassembling anything and to switch it back and forth??? -

I think i will build the Targa, but with turbo engine, spoiler and wide rear fenders, maybe switch the black wheels around and have a deeper look. And with the japanese plate it will look amazing. And just prints is just great! -

Looks great! Day one buy!!!! (also because the resellers will get their hands on the GWP Porsche goodies asap) Great to get the extra rims in black and glass pieces! Front indicator looks like an trans-orange recolor of the Fiat side window bow-brick thingy... -
Who made the Climax? Are there more detail pictures?

Technic 2021 Set Discussion
Polarlicht replied to LvdH's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Funny how the dude specially mentions a licensed vehicle as if most technic sets aren't licensed nowadays -
Some more pics. I tried the L motor but the 3x5L beamns (with grille print) hit it, so i can't use it without even more mods. Gone back tho the M motor. Raised suspension by one "stud" or beam to have about 5mm between motor and steering gear. Added some parts to the "poor mans" rear axle, still waiting for balljoint and socket from Bricks and Pieces...

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
Polarlicht replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Problably discussed already but does 76172 really have yellow frictionless 2l pins? I guess they replace the grey ones. And black friction pins will be green in the future -
Do you mean the anti studs downwards with that? Like i said the steering gear touches the motor, or maybe has 1 mm in between. It would still fit, but i don't want that gear hitting those anti studs and lock up. The topside of the motor is smooth, so the gear won't catch on anything. Still not the best solution (iam not great when building with technic, more a system guy myself) but it works...

Maybe with some more modification. Because it needs to go in sideways with the flat sides of the L motor on top and bottom so the hood closes and it wont touch the steering gear, which it alrady does with the current M motor. Suspension still works but that gear pushes the motor up a bit when you compress both front axle sides at the same time. Its fine when only one wheel is compressed, since the steering gear is in line with the suspension pivot point (big ball joint). Of course you can make the chassis on beam higher and have more clearance for a bigger motor.

Post your 42122 mods here. I have added the steering and 4x4 based on the idea form @Zerobricks. But also added RC stuff (small motor, servo, IR and recharchable battery) It is not done yet, the rear axle is only a placeholder, iam waiting on parts for that (ball joint and socket like front axle has). Rechareable battery box will go on top of the servo / behind the IR reciever! The small driving motor sits under the hood and has a small gear reduction from an 8 tooth to a 24 tooth gear. Then it goes through 4 16 tooth gears (red one spins free for steering to go through), to both axles. The servo sits in the back (also backwards) it steers only the front axle with 4 universal joints going through the chassis from back to front.
