  1. Yeah, I was thinking of making him a ranger, but the necklace is unique to Aragorn, I guess I'll have to ignore it.
  2. CHRISTMAS!! :D I got: Mirkwood Spiders Escape in Barrels Shelob Attacks Attack of the Wargs These were all really nice sets and I now have an impressive collection of elves and finally a base for them! :D Merry christmas everyone!
  3. Ah. My lotr knowledge fails me. And I guess this will be our only chance to get Aragorn in Gondor armour.
  4. I love each set! I don't care about there being only 4, the new Lone Ranger and superheroes sets need my money as well! Just a couple of thoughts: could the man in the black gate be faramir? If you look closely in the corner of the box you can see him with fair hair, not Aragorn's dark brown hair. I'm not sure but it looks like Gimli in the council of Elrond could have a brown version of Gloins hairpiece which would be very welcome. I just hope they don't use the same Orc for this wave as they did in Orc forge and attack of the Wargs, and maybe even have 2 new torsos and heads for a lot of variety.
  5. Does anyone have any idea what the blue flame pieces are supposed to represent in the "Attack of the Wargs" set?
  6. I am contemplating buying Attack on Weathertop though I am thrown off by the 2 figures I already own, Frodo and Aragorn. I have already had a duplicate of gimli but it was easy to turn his body into a Rohan soldier(as the torso is covered by Gimlis beard) and his beard and helmet into a different (yellow) dwarf. However, Aragorn's torso and Frodos hair are both very distinct. How do you reuse your main character's parts? I can imagine this is a big problem with Gandalf and Bilbo and will grow in the next Hobbit wave.
  7. I really liked the new opening and the new tardis. I liked the episode but it comes second to "A Christmas Carol" because I was unclear as to what was happening for most of it.
  8. TBH I would rather they didn't include Gandalf the white as there are many more opportunities to have him in other sets, I would prefer another army builder, Rohan or Gondor soldier, or an Orc if it is different to the Orc forge ones.
  9. I'm really enjoying this advent calendar! That squid diorama was very nice. :)
  10. I agree with the TLC's bad designing. I am mainly buying attack of the wargs for the minifigures and wargs, the tree and rocks are just boring and nothing special (unlike Helm's Deep). Riddles of the ring is just boring. I also dislike their decision to give Nori and Gloin orange hair despite their hair definitely being brown in real life. However, I do commend them for the amount of new molds they have made for the dwarves.

  13. Santa: "I've got a razor for you this year, you better use it!"
  14. The problem about a roman theme is the standardisation of equipment. Every roman soldier would be the same, making them less special. Compare this to kingdoms where you can have 3/4 different lion knights, as well 2/3 leaders. In a child's eyes, you'd want to buy a set because it has a special minifigure, but roman sets would be largely repetitive, so kids would not want another standard roman soldier. For lego, this means less profits. A compromise would be a "Classical" theme which explores the Egyptians, Persians, Greeks and Romans in all aspects of their life. Each wave could be 1 civilisation and could feature 1/2 army sets, maybe featuring barbarians, and 3/4 city sets, featuring temples, forums, docks and things like that. That would make a really diverse and nice theme, however children would probably not want temples and forums so it would not appeal to them.
  15. This was a very amusing film! I especially like the bit at the end :P good luck in the contest!
  16. Wow! This is an amazing brickfilm: the animations are smooth andthe sound effects and music are especially amazing! The story was very entertaining and had lots of amusing little scenes which were great. I really hope you make another one! :)
  17. Wow what a beautiful moc. Very nice creation with many good details, well done! :)
  18. Nice raffle, very nice to see a lot of generosity in the figures donated :) Daddy Vader likes to dress up for Christmas, daddy Palpatine hasn't got quite the right idea yet...
  19. Well I have more crownies than lion knights so the lions are a smaller faction within the crownies, whilst my small collection of dragons are mercenaries (small = 2). It's annoying though because my 3 lions just disappeared, and I've never seen any trace of them since. My trolls ally with the uruks, skellies and mercenaries/Vikings
  20. WW: "all you'll have to do to get into the Justice league is lower that zips of yours in front of bats."
  21. Any ideas how long this will last :S Don't have time tonight.
  22. Nice, you captured Daniel Craig's face very well! I can't wait to see some more :) ^ yes, that is kincaide
  23. First time I've seen a lower price discourage someone :P I am happy with that price, however I feel Attack of the Wargs is a bit overpriced as is Riddles of the Ring. It's quite unfair how we have to pay £12 for it and in America it's $10 which is about £6 :( Hopefully the Goblin King battle will be £70/£80
  24. Just been trying out the app, I find the overlaying of the previous photo very helpful :D
  25. Seems like a good idea, I'd love to see one made but I don't have the pieces :(
