Sorry but what do you mean "rounds and plates"? :S I'm not very familiar with moccing terms but do you mean 1 x 1 flat round bricks and flat tile bits? About the grey at the back: I agree it would look better with dark grey but I don't really want to take off all my work so far, and I don't really plan to display the back, it's more of a place to hide the inner framework/other stuff (like the tunnel) - and is not in any way supposed to represent a town or anything :P

This is one part of my challenge 6 and I'd like some input as it is my first serious moc I have done.(this isn't cheating, right?) My thoughts: I don't really have enough bricks to make a nice big grey wall, so I'm adding in a whole that has been hastily repaired with wood. I am going to change this so it is continuous wood as opposed to the frame work I have now. I'm also considering having a raging fire on the wood, so as to make the vignette more lively and use some of my many black bricks as charcoal. I need to finish the sides I've started at the back, so it looks like it is a big thick wall - 1 brick thick just isn't very impressive :P I might have to lower the height, as I might not have enough grey bricks to finish it. And of course I will add some minis. I will have hordes of orcs from Nocturnus waiting in front of the wall, maybe some Goblins/bats from collectible minifigures climbing the wall, also I might have some fighting on the wall between hand of corruption troops and Nocturnians. There will also be some Mitgardian dwarves, who dug the hole under the wall. I'm already in Nocturnus XD I was just wondering if I could fit them somewhere in a moc. Might they go well with Vallyrio? And to answer DaMaximus's question, I don't actually have many skellies but i have a lot of trolls >:)

Which guild would the crown knights fit best in? It's annoying as they're not really a good match for any of them, but they're my biggest army :(

I really don't think we'll get a fell beast this wave. We have had 1 moulded creature in each of the past waves and they were both in £70 - £80 price range. I could imagine next theme being very Gondor and having Osgiliath for £70 with a fell beast as that waves mould and then having Minas Tirith as the >£100 set, and additions for Minas Tirith at 50 and 40 pounds.

Wait, which iron man set has war machine? I thought he was reprinted as iron patriot in iron man 3?

A question regarding challenge VI: Is there a specific location of the Wizard's castle? Or can we choose where it is hidden?

If everything was the correct scale, the seeping wall of Helms deep would have to be at least double what they made it, but it still comes with figures. The same with weathertop, it is extremely reduced in size.

Oh great, another ~£100 needed for this year. Hopefully we'll get some nice figures in Orthanc - uruks, orcs, Wormtongue. Al the sets look great and are definite buys, although now that I think of it, if we get Saruman in Orthanc there won't be much need for me to buy the wizard dual.

So what does everyone do with the stands you get in every collectible minifigure? Using them to display figures is obvious, but I'm sure most of us have a surplus of minifigure stands. I have no use for them over than displaying my rare figures, and so have several towers of black plates.

I might enter this next build, for Nocturnus. I am terrible at moccing but entering alone gets us points, right?

Well the best idea is to use lots of angles slopes, like the weathertop moc, and throw in some cheese slopes to make it look nicer. if you want a less steep hill then use a few 2 x 2 angled bricks but mostly layer normal bricks to create an incline. The top colours to use would be any grey and maybe some brown in the mix, but not too much. To add detail to the cliff face use green bricks (dark, lime or whatever) or green plant bricks. For the base, I don't moc much but, I'd use a baseplate and build on that, leaving the middle hollow.

So if you email customer service will they send you a long cape? The short cape just looks silly on him? Also my Elrond's silver printing on the hip part is out of allignment with the legs, it is slightly lower down. Do you think lego would send a replacement or is the piece too rare?

The Orthanc set is not real. Why is the tower blurred but the why aremeasurementsso clear? Also, it wouldn't make much sense to release an Orthanc as well as a wizard battle as they are extremely similar sets and we would end up with 2 Sarumans in 1 wave. Also being taller than the Death Star is a bit ambitious, don't you think?

Apparently they give them away at game uk? Does anyone know if you have to buy a special edition or something?

Is it easy to take the key chain off? Also: I saw the hobbit again and noticed that the Orc who confronts the pale Orc with Yazneg on weathertop has the same bone neck armour as the lego Yazneg.

Are the 2013 Star Wars sets available in any lego shops, or ther distributors?
