  1. I just finished the video about this new version of walking robot. For more information visit my website: https://tomastechnic.com/walking-robot-2-0/ You can find there photos, some text about the robot and mainly building instructions and EV3 program.
  2. Thanks! Thank you. I think it could be made driven. In fact it is just a standard independent suspension with changing ground clearance.
  3. Thanks. It could be better with larger wheels and longer arsm but I don't have motorcycle tyres so I made this vehicle small and fast. The most funny to drive with this is when using gear ratio 3:1. Thank you. More informations can be found on my website https://tomastechnic.com/. Thank you!
  4. The most special part of this vehicle is the front axle. It has got a tilting mechanism so the car can drive through the turns without falling on a side. The tilting and steering is powered by a single servo motor. The rear wheel is powered by a L motor. The gear ratio can be easily changed. I found the ratio 5:3 as a best option. More photos and building instructions can be found on my website https://tomastechnic.com/.
  5. Check this modern tank. It is not a model of some real tank but I think it don't looks bad. One of the most difficult challenges were to build the suspension strong enough and to make the turret with gun elevating system only three studs height. Propulsion: 2X PF XL motor, turret rotation: PF M motor, gun elevation: PF M motor
  6. This simple robot with a sophisticated program can detect obstacles and avoid collisions. Building instructions and program are available on Rebrickable. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-36666/TomasTECHNIC/self-driving-minirobot/#comments
  7. Thank you. Yes, it is difficult to make reliable collector. I was trying a lot of collecting mechanisms and this one, with the belt on the top, works the best.
  8. Thank you. It can't collect square bricks. They will stay stuck in the collecting mechanism. I think the sports balls could be possible but I don't have a lot of them. Thank you. The tractor is not completely based on something real but I've got inspired by JCB Fastrac. Anyway the similarity with JCB is poor I think.
  9. This trailer has got four main features: 1. automatic steering axle - This is one of the best feature in this trailer. It works fully mechanically and thanks to that the turning radius is quite small. 2. adjustable collector (PF M motor) 3. extendable slide (PF M motor) 4. tracks propulsion (PF L motor located in the tractor) The collectors reliability isn't 100% but I think it can collect paper pieces well. If you are interested to know more about the tractor, check this video.
  10. This is really special tracked vehicle because it has got two 4-speed seqentional gearboxes (one for each track). For drive I choose XL motors. They are powerful enough to make this heavy vehicle move. Next feature of this vehicle is strong winch. Strong enough to lift whole vehicle or destroy a big wooden tower. If you want to see more details of the transmission look at this video:
  11. Don't worry, I had this tank on a stand to save axles.
  12. Thank you. I joined gear wheel on the torsion bar and thanks to the worm gear you can adjust rotation of this torsion bar.
  13. It was a big challange to build adjustable suspension for this tank/destroyer. My first idea was to use only one PF M motor for suspension tilting but it was not posibble (for me ) to make needed gear reductions in such a small place. So I used two PF M motors (one for first four wheels, one for second four wheels). Only one gear reduction for each motor was needed in this case. This solution brings nice advantages - you can also adjust tank height. For suspension I used torsion bars. It is the easiest way to make it. For more details look at the video. (time: 1:10) If you like this MOC you can look on outdoor video.
  14. Thank you. I used this type of actuators because I have only four classic actuators.
  15. Don't wory, I cleaned tracks after filming. I used two PF large motors geared down. (1:15)
  16. I really like the Liebherr R9800 so I decided to build it myself. My version has got six functions (all powered by PF elements, controled by three IR receivers) Drive - one L motor for each track Turning superstructure - M motor Arm - XL motor, M motor, M motor It is not as big as official Lego Liebherr but functions (I think ) works really good.
  17. Thank you Thank you and sorry for my mistake. It won't happen again.
  18. I really like the Liebherr R9800 so I decided to build it myself. My version has got six functions (all powered by PF elements) I will be very happy if you look on my video on YouTube. Lego Liebherr R 9800
