  1. TLG: From now on, all our restaurants for City will be food trucks. They'll sell better that way Tbh. A van version of the Doughnut shop is kinda different. About the hotdog van...I was thinking more of a more normal look. Not really something that reminds me of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile.
  2. Yeah! I've been fighting for Lego to do those more often. They should release a wave of food trucks sometime soon. Vehicles sell much better than stationary buildings so that's probably one of the safer ways to get restaurants without a hole being burned in Lego's wallet. Heck! I'll definitely be finished with the food truck avenue in my town then. Yup! A pretzel van, a hotdog van, a doughnut van. So much potential. A wave of race cars or buses would also be a big money maker for Lego too.
  3. @jonwil Every three years, City would release a mobile command center which would kinda act as a lab. Unfortunately we didn't see one this year. Though I'm assuming that the van from the monster truck heist set kinda filled in that void. Overall, I think Lego already knows what they are doing with police sets. Got any ideas for something else other than police?
  4. @TeriXeri Those ideas are very great. These would also be good for the theme too.
  5. So you don't think we could see deer or rabbit moulds?
  6. Now those would be the perfect animal moulds for a wave of forest exploration sets. C'mon Lego. There is so much potential here.
  7. I hope it's a teaser to some possible Forest Exploration sets. It could mainly focus on finding valuables in the ancient castle ruins similar to what Jungle Explorers did. Only it takes place just outside the city instead of in a faraway land.
  8. ...or the BLACK limo. A limos by City have been white. Black 8s a new route.
  9. Dunno! I can't really tell either. Even if it doesn't, I don't care. I still love it. For a while, I've been longing for the public transportation industry to get more fame in City sets.
  10. OH MY GAWD!!!!! I'm soooooo excited for this set. It has a burger joint, a school building and the yellow tram. It also has a fire helicopter and a limo along with Mayor Freck. It's about frickin time we got him in a set. This set is totally on my list along with the passenger plane and the divers ship.
  11. Hey guys! I just brought a Draco Malfoy minifigure. #slytherinpride
  12. I was thinking of the black and red one. But the black and yellow is nice too.
  13. Those are nice. The black one kinda reminds me of the old Lego town race car from the early 90s.
  14. While it's not a full theme, I'd say the town subtheme for City.
  15. That's understandable. I'm also an enthusiast of British culture as I love British railways along with using words like "Hullo", "Bloke" or "Petrol".
  16. You definately did a great job with this. I love the English style design of both the station and the train. Looks like something I'd see on a BBC show or on Thomas & Friends. Love how you used James' basis btw. Are you from the UK by any chance? I've noticed that a lot of your MOCs are centered around British culture. Just thought I'd ask.
  17. Now those would be great sellers. Not just for adults like us, but kids as well. I know someone who works for Lego and she told me that its not just City. But police work is a popular subject to Lego as a whole. So it may be expensive to make some licensed sets based on actual police shows, but I'd consider it worth it and both the short term and long run.

  19. LOL! The summer wave is basically a fall wave for the US.
  20. How about a licensed police theme? I have a few shows that it could possibly be based off of? Adam 12 (Yeah....that one may be too old) Chicago PD COPS Rookie Blue The Rookie
  21. The Rookie! According to Lego, one of their most popular themes is Police work. Lego may have to fight for licensing. But just like Harry Potter and Star Wars, the sets don't have to be based on a particular episode. They can basically use a similar formula they use for City police sets. Only it would be flesh toned since we're talking about a line based on a TV series.
  22. Beer time! Nice PUB.
  23. The police brick box doesn't have stickers.
