  1. Sounds like you guys are on it. If you want any extra help, PM the error logs over and I'd be happy to take a look. I was an early adopter of PHP in 2002 and have decades of experience w/ Linux.
  2. The trick with these posings was to twist the yellow hand in the outstretched arm up to create tension on the brown hand that kept it in place.
  3. Agreed - I think we just need to get the attention of a server admin who has access to server error logs / debugging so they can see what about the forum theme for the BoBs subforum is throwing a wrench in the works! Often themes need to be updated to keep pace with underlying CMS updates (a change to the core software ripples through to changes in hooks/filters in the templates and some older ones get deprecated).
  4. Ordered the space pirate and violin kid today off BL. Will definitely incorporate some elements into MOCs!
  5. So people can see what part they are discussing in 42118 Obviously the wheels right?
  6. It does seem like this has happened recently with other forums and is related to their forum design themes
  7. BoBs sub forum uses a different theme than this forum so could be an issue specific to that other theme's template files
  8. Hi @Mister Phes Not sure if this is only happening for me, but when I visit the Brethren of the Brick Seas sub-forum, i just see a white WSOD page instead of the forum! In the network tab of my browser, it is receiving a 200 response but blank content. Other sub-forums / messaging work. Thanks!
  9. I agree w/ Brickander that it looks fat, but it also looks good! Cool small ship! I love the stern contours and the last picture looks awesome like a small merchant vessel.
  10. Thanks all! The parts of the build that were the most fun were the initial shaping of the SNOT base, the seagulls that don't care there is human drama occurring behind them, the musket posing on the militiamen, using the separated green hinge for grass overhanding the tan sand, and overall sand dune headland landscaping with falling bits of sand clumping below. I will check out that hinge-based siding technique, @Khorne!
  11. A large horse farm in Elizabethville, licensed as a large plantation
  12. When Martin Shoemaker went into town and told the mayor that two of his prize white stallions had been stolen from Shoemaker Farms, the mayor went to Captain Brickleton. As the ranking officer in Elizabethville, Brickleton knew it was his responsibility to keep the townspeople and their property safe. He had figured that meant from Oleon (who Corrington was at war with), but it did encompass horse thieves as well. For the next few dawns after receiving the news, Brickleton and a small group of Elizabethville Militia and 26th Foot lay in wait at the seaside horse farm, ready to spring in action upon the would-be thieves arrival. On the third morning, the thieves arrived by boat and the soldiers sprung their trap! Process shots: To be licensed as a large plantation in Elizabethville OOC: I approached this build wanting to try a few new things. First, I wanted to try to build a shiplap shingle outbuilding like @SilentWolf built in the Elizabethville downtown. Secondly, I wanted to try an @Ayrlego-style base that gradually dropped from SNOT on the sides down to water in the corner. Thirdly, I wanted to try to make a natural-looking hill landscape with an Irish-looking small stone wall.
  13. Arms from Crazy Bricks, muskets from BrickArms, bayonets from BrickForge, boots from TLG Sushi Chef
  14. Gorgeous! I love the three-leaf plant piece as tree leaves and the handcart design. What piece is used for the above-door pulley?
  15. Another great microbuild! The hinges make great stalls

    Boots?

Definitely! With that approach it would be a much simpler boot with a cool front trapezoidal shape
  17. The only cuff I haven't successfully incorporated into a custom minifig yet is the Captain Hook red arm with white cuff: I have a handful of these arm sets, but they so far have looked pretty cartoony when mixed with more detailed torsos. Has anyone had any luck incorporating them into a cool minifig?

    Boots?

The new CMF Series 21 has a Space Pirate minifig with more detailed boots. I recently transitioned my imperials to the Sushi Chef pants above and will stick with that simpler boot pant for now! My thinking on the Space Police boot is that the black belt / leg divider is likely to be too busy with the straps/belts present on most Imperial torsos. The Royal Guard torso even has its own belt already, which would be pretty awkward Space Pirate pants: My Sushi Chef boot pants:
  19. I've recently transitioned my Imperials to the Sushi Chef white leg / black boot pants. The Space Police CMF in this series also has boot pants, but they seem more (perhaps overly so) detailed with a boot top and belt. Thoughts?
  20. Awesome scene! I love the wave effect and the feeling of rough seas crashing on a rocky coast. The path / staircase fit in really nicely as well. Fun tree elements
  21. Great micro rock structures and micro ship! Building is fun too - I like the headlight windows
  22. Love the dish saw blade! Super cool
  23. Thanks! Having you go back and review my GoC builds today has been a good chance for me to review my progress as a builder since October. Those earlier builds had worse lighting and many fewer tiles I like the Ayrlego-style SNOT base in this build and have a few more ideas in the pipeline to expand on its use.
  24. Hey @Kai NRG - Yeah Duplos! Check out the hidden section in the first post to see the Duplo base
  25. Thanks! It's the interchangeable hat wig (DIY)!
