  1. This has a lot of potential to be great for me. Man, I loved the Muppets when I was a kid. Surely they're gonna do Beaker and Bunsen. Boy, I hope so. I'd love some of Dr Teeth's band too, I imagine they're a bit less likely...(maybe Animal-he's pretty popular)? I do really love some of the more minor characters. I'd dearly love a Crazy Harry figure or a Lew Zealand figure, probably my two favourite Muppet designs....but I doubt it.
  2. Yup, I'll keep buying the sets, even if the only way to get them here in the UK is from the LEGO website. It's a great line.
  3. Ah! Ok, that makes sense, although is frustrating. I was indeed looking for it via Prime. Thanks, that wasn’t clear, at least to me. I’ve never even heard of Amazon Kids+ as a separate thing.
  4. Has anyone in the UK managed to watch the show on Amazon yet? That press release talked about September 9th, but when I look at the show as listed on Amazon, it’s listed as “not available in your region at this time”…
  5. Hhmm, whilst it does obviously have a lot of similarities to the previous version, it does look like the various proportions of the vehicle might resemble the real vehicle a little better at least on first glance. The relative height of the front and rear of the chasis, the tyre sizes, window size etc. I’ll be keen when someone has both versions to hand and can compare against plan views of the actual car.
  6. Photos of the "Batfleck" batbike are showing up from the Flash filming here in Scotland. They've gone for a style very reminiscent of the White Knight batbike. I can't help but think it would make a really great LEGO set, with the built-up front end. A brick built bike set....if only we were getting sets for the film.
  7. I've looked at a couple of pictures of the Christmas Mando figure now, and can't quite decide if I think the leg printing is new or not. The Razor Crest version was the durasteel print on the legs, whilst the Tatooine figure was essentially season 2 Mando (one leg Beskar and the other leg a panel from the Zero droid). The right leg on this Christmas Mando looks a little like it might incorporate the season 1 Beskar and durasteel mix that was on Mando's right thigh after he got his initial Beskar upgrade. Either that, or some folks are suggesting that right leg is partly covered in snow. I can't quite tell.
  8. Yup, I'm with you on that one. I assume the helmets are selling well and they figure there's crossover appeal in the demographics that are buying Star Wars helmets with those that might buy Batman cowls?
  9. If LEGO release a mining scale Tumbler at $40 as well as the big D2C Tumbler re-do, then is that a strong indication that large scale D2C '66 Batmobile is likely in the works? We have a large '89 Batmobile plus the minifig scale one (GWP), the big D2C Batwing very similar to the mining scale one that came out last year, so if LEGO are going for a consistent D2C plus minifig scale "line" then the obvious gap is a large scale '66 Batmobile. Maybe?
  10. So, I wonder how this reported 66 Batmobile set will differ from the one that came with the Batcave, because that one was pretty good....I guess we’re starting to see some specifically affordable re-release versions of Star Wars sets now, with the X wing and Tie fighters....are LEGO maybe doing the same kind of thing here for the Batmobile?
  11. Some really great sets in that range. I love the Scuttler, and it’s a great Batwing, if you can find them. I also just love that egghead set.
  12. Cartoons are what could help, I think. If only LEGO had been releasing sets during the various Batman/Justice League cartoons.... LEGO is mostly marketing to kids...we get another good, popular Batman/DC cartoon, that might just generally boost sales. The Batman Animated series was absolutely huge in terms of merchandising back in the day, and there’s rumour of an extension/follow up in the works for HBO MAX. Batman is perennially popular for DC, there are always Batman toys (non-LEGO) selling well. DC LEGO just needs to see an updated “brand” to tag on to, at least...my opinion and all that.
  13. Maybe we'll get the usual "standard" Batman set with the unexpected villain of Black Adam, kind of like how we got the Shazam figure.
  14. I'd personally love it to be the Bat-Ski from Batman Returns to round out the Batmobile and Batwing sets, that'd be a nice addition. I don't know though...I feel like that's a much less well known/liked vehicle. I remember working in a comic/toy shop around the time that Batman Returns came out. We had a lot of merchandise on sale for the film, and the Kenner Batskiboat was a real shelf-warmer. They really weren't selling, we ended up putting them on massive discount. I wonder if LEGO would think that was a really marketable set. Maybe things have changed since 1992 too....
  15. They haven't done an Arkham Asylum in a little while, and those do tend to come around every couple of years. Are we going to get another retooled Arkham? I think 200 bucks would be around the correct price range, compared to the previous iterations.
  16. These are just terrific. Great work!
  17. ...and from my understanding of merchandising around DC properties, that's also a pretty fair reflection of how toy companies other than LEGO have performed. I know that previously Hasbro, Mattel, even DC Direct etc. have reported that whatever DC property they've owned/promoted which involves Batman, the merchandise that includes/focusses on Batman massively outsells all of the other DC characters. Even the really great toy lines around shows like the Batman animated series or the follow up Justice League shows had wave after wave of recycled Batman action figures with maybe the occasional villain or other DC hero thrown in at one per wave along with the 10 Batmen/Robins. But those Batman figures just keep selling, kids keep buying them.
  18. Anyone make out what the green pieces are? I feel like I can make out a green hairpiece, maybe??
  19. I guess that’s right. Sorry, I was thinking of the LEGO Batman movie sets Which came under their own theme. Either way though, a light schedule for 2021 might still be reflective of Batman movie sets still to come, now delayed along with the film? I’m trying to be positive...
  20. It might be worth considering that this is the DC superheroes line. If LEGO plan to also release sets specifically linked to The Batman movie, they might come under a different category. Before the filming delays, any The Batman sets could have been scheduled for 2021 in addition to these sets?
  21. Man, I hope so, as much as it is gonna bankrupt me...
  22. If this does turn out to be real, it’s certainly great news. I’ll really look forward to having this and the UCS Batmobile sets together. So long as the two sets are complimentary in terms of scale then that’s great. If they went with complimentary as a theme, then it would certainly make sense to have three figures. A repeat of the same three figures doesn’t seem to make sense. So...if you look at the Burton films as companion pieces, maybe Batman, Catwoman and Penguin do make sense?
  23. I’ll take whatever they come up with. Seriously fantastic design. Ditko was a genius.
