  1. Really liking all of these figures so far. Only improvement would have been a Guy Gardner Green Lantern, but I’ll take these. The first appearance Batman I’m really happy with. Still holding out for Creeper!!!! Come on LEGO!!!
  2. This guy looks great! Maybe we are getting Disco Nightwing after all... he's this vintage.
  3. That’s certainly the model they used in the past, thinking about Suicide Squad, for example.
  4. I’m just speculating here, but the D2C piece count, the limited 1989 Batmobile and this possible Keaton style minifigure make me wonder if we’re headed for a UCS 2-pack of 1989 Batmobile and Batwing, with two minifigures, Keaton and Nicholson. That would have parallels with the Tumbler set with two figures which has sold really well for LEGO. The piece count of the new set is apparently higher than the Tumbler. However, the Keaton Batmobile in the same sort of scale as the Tumbler might well have a lower piece count. Not as bulky, not as many panels, more streamlined. So maybe the piece count is made up by an in-scale Batwing. The exclusive set is for VIP orders within a short window. ?
  5. I’m really enjoying the run up to this big set release in November, plus the minifigure series
  6. Exclusive with early purchase of the D2C? That would also make the D2C as the Keatonmobile make sense...?
  7. This looks great! Gonna be picking this up.
  8. There you go! I'll take Disco Nightwing, thank you very much,.
  9. Yup, that’s a strong contender, I feel
  10. I could see a really good Blue Devil. The classic 80’s costume with trident. I think that’d be possible with current molds, too..(?)
  11. Detective comics Batman version. Regular cowl, plain print bat logo torso and some little purple gloves. Something along those lines would be nice.
  12. Ooh, Jonah Hex would be fantastic. Fingers crossed.
  13. I gotta say that I'm feeling really good about these selections so far. Metamorpho in particular seems exactly in the level of popular/obscure that might get me those Creeper and Deadman figures that I really want...
  14. So far this is obscure in a pretty good way, at least for me.
  15. Got it. Metamorpho is pretty rad.
  16. Sod it, I'll take what they put out. Obscure sounds fun. Golden Age, Silver Age, Modern Age...
  17. Sorry, just read on a website. I think a story in superherohype.com if I remember...
  18. Press release for Batman Day states: LEGO retail stores in the U.S. and Canada will celebrate Batman Day with Batman-themed build events, in-store giveaways, takeovers on its social channels, and more.
  19. Really...? Wonder why they moved it? 21st is a Saturday?
  20. So...it’s Batman Day tomorrow. Don’t suppose we’ll get any LEGO news?
  21. The "completist" in me would quite like an appropriately scaled version of the Bat from Dark Knight Rises to go with my Tumbler and Batpod, but if I'm honest, it's not exactly the iconic vehicle that either the Tumbler or the Batpod are. I'm kind of nostalgic about the Burton Batmobile, I was a teenager when the film came out and it seemed revolutionary at the time, but looking back now the film has not aged well so I'm less enthusiastic about some sort of UCS Burtonmobile....but I guess I'll take it?
