Really! If this is true I might end up saving my points for the Captain Marvel set and just buy the August Harry Potter sets with my own money.
-
I think it’s more likely that the 2 August sets were originally set aside for Fantastic Beasts (like last year) but on seeing the sales figures they decided to stick to Harry Potter for a year with no movie tie in. Whether or not these were originally sketched out for next year or they made them for August originally? Hard to say.

Is her face print new? I just assumed it was another case of a minor child character getting a reused face print but I don’t know all of them off the top of my head.
-
Oh yes. You’re never too young for necromancy. :)

The thing is, none of the other Beauxbatons students even warrant a name even in the books. They haven’t given us a nameless character yet and I think it will be a long while before they start giving us generic students.

No there are actual coloring sheets, only about 10 points each but they’re there.

Wow, I forgot about TLM2 having such a strong sci-fi presence. Honestly, the only space themed figure I’d actually be interested in is if the sat down and did a truly accurate Apollo astronaut - as opposed to the generic ones in the Lunar Module set. All out with arm printing, grey hands, dual molded legs so there can be grey boots with printed blue toes, accurately shaped helmets and packs, the works. Wishful thinking I know. And on the topic of areas that should be given a rest - am I the only one who hopes for no costumes this time? The last regular series was mostly costumes and then they managed to fit a few more into the TLM2 cmf, so they’ve been kind of overdone recently as well. Maybe do a trick or treater of some sort (since this is the first fall series in a while) but can we skip the fur suits and giant food this time?

I’m having the same problem. I saw my points for about a second before I got booted back to the login screen. I’m kind of worried about it because I have to be able to access the rewards page to actually use them. I’ve sent a message to customer support and hopefully it will be resolved with all the other problems. EDIT: so apparently I can get to the full rewards site on my laptop, but not the mobile version on my phone. Now I’m just worried about when we’ll be able to redeem our points in store, since all those slots are ‘coming soon’.

So the chameleon, dachshund and rugby ball are all standard things I’d expect from cmf accessories, but the green and red rubber ducky is throwing me for a loop. It’s just not a standard color for rubber ducks and I can’t think of a reason to recolor the existing piece unless it’s not for the cmf but some Christmas thing instead (but even that seems weird).

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors, Wishlists and Discussion
Accio Lego replied to RandomSniper109's topic in LEGO Licensed
Since so many people have posting their cmf lists I thought I’d throw my Harry Potter guesses in the ring Harry Potter (variation) Ron Weasley (variation/Quidditch) Hermione Granger (variation) Luna Lovegood (lion hat/ravenclaw robes) Draco Malfoy (Slytherin robes) Ginny Weasley (variation/Quidditch) Fred Weasley George Weasley Moaning Myrtle Madam Pomfrey Rita Skeeter Vernon Dursley Petunia Dursley Dudley Dursley Professor Sprout Werewolf Lupin Tonks and Kingsley are absent because I think we’ve got a really good chance of getting them in the sets. And I’ve left off my Fantastic Beasts guesses because they’re still uncertain (based off Disney series 2 we could not even get any Fantastic Beasts in a Wizarding World series 2). -
By my count (including spare small pieces and the extra wand) 105.

Yes! It’s definitely from the BaM Tower. I found several in there today and had to pick one up. I also grabbed a lobster which I’d never seen in my local store’s Build a Minifigure before. There are apparently a bunch of new parts rolling out into the towers.

So I picked up the Build Your Own Adventure book at Barnes and Noble (the street date is tomorrow but I correctly guessed that at least some stores wouldn’t bother when the rest of the Harry Potter Lego came out today). For those interested the house tiles are PRINTED not stickers. (Which is odd because you can tell in the official photos that they used stickers.) Just a PSA for anyone interested.

Well we’ve already seen leaks of a Chameleon and a Dachshund, but if we get more than that I certainly wouldn’t complain

I’m personally also excited by the fact that all the current system style dogs have pricked ears (German shepherd, husky, terrier, etc.) but the dachshund has floppy ears (which have only appeared in Friends and other more stylized lines so far as I know) which opens up a whole new slew of breeds. For instance, I saw someone on Instagram mention lab/golden retriever as a possibility and it made me think of the possibility of Lego doing a mold for a guide dog harness, which would be pretty cool. Basically, Lego going out of its way to consistently give us new dog breeds and expanding into floppy ears can only be a good thing.

The new Buckbeak is amazing and might never be available anywhere else. Plus Hagrid and his Hut are the best they’ve ever been.

I don’t think we need to worry too much. It is a COMIC CONvention first and foremost, even if it has been overrun by other mediums. I think it probably helps that Harry Potter itself won’t have a huge presence at the convention (I wouldn’t be worried about Harry Potter exclusives until 2021 at least). After all, the only non-comic exclusives last year were a Lego Movie 2 figure and a Star Wars Solo set - current movies, one of which was a Lego property. It will be interesting to see the full line up this year. So far we’ve gotten sneak peeks of a Marvel set, a DC set and a Marvel figure, which means so far there’s nothing to say Lego hasn’t decided to do just comic characters, but we’ll see what gets revealed in coming weeks.

So it looks like the reason that Barnes and Noble doesn’t have the Expecto Patronum set early with all the others is because Walmart has it along with several other sets of the same price point from different themes. So that’s that explained.

Honestly, I only ended up waiting until November because I wanted to get the little Diagon Alley gwp set. I just really lucked out because the Castle ended up being one of the double points sets that month. I love my micro Harry Potter display though, gave me the perfect place to put the tiny Knight Bus I got back in 2004.
