  1. I hope so. If this is the comic version, it needs the claws.
  2. Same here. I REALLY like the detail on the back printing, for both of them.
  3. I'm not sure, I know aim has some robots but I think they'd have some human ranks as well. The thing is avengers is almost certainly rated teen, which would imply it's more violent than say, ultimate alliance. Games like the star wars battlefront series have you killing humans, faces clearly visible, so it's not like the game couldn't do it.
  4. The filler figures are usually for variety, which I agree is stupid, but I guess it keeps the packs from looking the same. They could fix that by giving us some clone trooper packs, maybe for different regiments, those are pretty colourful. I think there's a case to be made for the sith troopers here. It would be the third time that highly desirable elite troopers have come in an expensive set, than been released a few months later in a battlepack. it happened with the death troopers in rogue one and the preatorians for TLJ. It's also an economically smart decision, get the sith trooper in as a draw for the shuttle, then a way for people to stock up on him a few months later. they get the bonus of the sith trooper being exclusive to the shuttle from it's release to at the very minimum when the 2020 set images/descriptions leak, and then get a ton of sales from people buying multiple copies of the sith trooper battlepack. I guess it is more unlikely that the normal jet trooper would show up too, but I don't think anyone's going to spend $40 on a set just to get a single figure. (If anyone is though, message me I'll buy your extra rey as I didn't get the set )
  5. it's a nice way to get more clones and to an extent to get some more genric jedi parts, but I feel like this would have been better as either a full out jedi or clone only battle pack, as you said. Which reminds me, weren't the clones in that set origionally going to be P2 based on some preliminary or something? That would have been so much better, we've so rarely gotten P2 shinies. True, but c'mon, sith troopers are likely going to be included here, like the preatorians and death troopers were in past packs after being in more expensive sets. it's not by any means certain, but it's likely we'll see something like: 2 sith troopers, a jet trooper of either colour, and a snowtrooper or officer.
  6. Now a retail exclusive, that's an interesting prospect. As you said, it's unlikely, but the potential for something like vader's castle to come out of nowhere is exciting.
  7. No, he means like it's the only option, I think. We know the rumored minifigure makeups of the other TROS set, so unless she shows up in the first order battlepack, she'll be in this one.
  8. The aim agents have backpack attachments, they might have stickered packs for weaponry or something
  9. see @BrickHat's comment That was not the same batman. Superman is the only exception, 8 years ago, and was more of a "look! we're making lego DC" thing, which also partly explains why there were 3 SDCC exclusive DC figures instead of the 1 they do now. I'm not saying that this captain marvel won't show up, but rather that there is no real precedent for it.
  10. Unfortunately, this is wrong both in terms of lego's production schedule, as they wouldn't start producing parts for late 2020 sets in fall 2019, AND in how lego does comic con exclusives, as they have never to my recollection released an SDCC exclusive figure in a normal retail set. The only thing that comes close to it is a rocket raccon in one of them was also in a polybag released at roughly the same time.
  11. I agree about the KOR thing. Hasbro wouldn't be likely to release a black series Wuher, Connix, Bucket, griff Haloren, or any of the other very minor figures lego has made this year.
  12. If anything, they'll look worse. They barely even look lego, at least with the centaur and the one with hagrid arms. Yup.
  13. Yeah, I'm thinking he may have claimed to have broken or misprinted parts....
  14. I agree. I'll get it once it goes on sale, maybe sooner or not at all depending on how they get the orange/white split.
  15. Thank you, like I said earlier I lose track of who has inside information sometimes. Logically she would be showing up in the x-wing set, which is good as that set doesn't have too much going for it right now.
  16. The hulk set comes out in november, unlike all the others, so it's unlikely ads for the 2020 sets would be in it. That is good evidence. Do you know how they got them through replacement part services? Lego rarely carries liscened parts/prints on the site, so the only way I can think of to get something like ver's torso would be to call lego customer service and lie about having the set but with her torso messed up. I had a tie fighter pilot helmet whose printing was on the side of the helmet, and I know from that call that at least for normal sets as long as you know the set number you're all good, but I feel like it would be different for SDCC sets.
  17. Look at marvel with the avengers tower promo, or (this might just be my opinion) star wars's battle diorama promos. Both could totally have been sold as normal sets, at least the tower one with the exclusive iron man. Yeah, it's something they've been doing for forever, and it's annoying but makes sense from their end of it. And like you say, it does allow for greater detail on the figures and adds desirability. Like, I very rarely buy DC sets, but I'll 100% be bricklinking the batman figure from the D2C
  18. Do you know this, or is this speculation based on the whole 'spicy figure in poe's x-wing' thing? Sorry, it's hard to keep track of who here has inside information sometimes. Sorry, for some reason I remembered the water speeder looking more like the skiff from the passana set. On close examination it does look different, as the outrigger bits are in the middle and farther out, as well as being more of thrusters than the larger ones on the skiff.
  19. If the SDCC set becomes availible in another way, like lego might have hinted at back when the weird new vip point system launched (I think), then we'll get Rambeu. It really depends on if/how Vers is released.
  20. I thought Jannah was passanian, but yeah an Orback set is likely. However, the waterspeeder looks similar to her desert speeder, and I doubt lego would release 2 sets with a similar build and potentially the same price within a few years of the OG set, so if the orbacks show up in wave 3, they probably won't be in that set.
  21. The orbacks will likely show up in wave 3 as whatever scenes they appear in could be considered spoiler material, since these would have leaked long before the second trailer gave us 2-3 seconds of the space horses. They also require pretty detailed new molds. No, nothing.
  22. It's pretty clearly a palpatine-like cloak, and well it could be something else, the assumption at least disney is giving us is that it's palpatine. Also, just dialogue from him and whatnot means he's probably really back either having survived the fall or in a host body or something, both of which would use a figure. Even if he was a spirit (which would be weird, as the sith were shown to be obsessed with immortalitly because they could not live on after death, with the exception of momin, star wars explained has some good videos on this), saying "this would make for an excellent minifigure" as @Lego-Freak does could still apply. A force ghost would make an excellent figure. But I encourage you to read lego-freak's comment about the poster as well, which also pretty clearly shows he's back. He's called the senate as a meme (or joke, I'm not sure how well meme translates) due to his "I am the senate" line from ROTS. It's interesting that while he was mentioned or had small roles in all the films, he only really had big scenes in ROTJ, ROTS, and (assumably, hopefully) TROS, the end of each trilogy.
  23. As do I, this is an instance where I'm trying to stay more pessimistic than realistic, as it would be such a ground breakingly great thing for them to be availible elsewhere, and I can't get my hopes up. Yes, we only complain as much because that's the habit some of us have grown into. Thank you for taking the time to show to people that marvel isn't as neglected as people make it out to be.
  24. There's an over-the-shoulder shot of him confronting rey, in which he appears to be physically back. In addition, all anyone ever said about a figure was that some "leaked image" that may not even be real would make a good figure. No one said "oh hey we're getting a minifig", and if they did, given the literal nature of this thread, it would be discussed.
  25. There's a better image of thor with a cape, hammer, and "power blast" (why are these continuing when there's the clearly superior power bursts) on instagram somewhere. He looks a little better in it, but not too much. I think it's just someone "flexing" how many SDCC captain marvel figures they have.
