The netflix iterations of the characters will never come into the MCU. However, it's likely daredevil will once netflix's rights expire, in which case we do finally hopefully get a daredevil figure.

As @Lego-Freak said, these were just the code/design names and probably not their actual names, which we will probably never get. Unless Pablo accepts butterknife ren and checkerboard ren as the true names of these characters.

If you look at the past few years, the febuary/march films have been to appeal to different culture/diversity, etc. I assume this is part of the reason for shang-chi being chosen. However, the MCU does have a lack of skilled martial artists/hand to hand combatants with te death of black widow, so I'm glad he's coming in. He also does seem like a cool character, and the action scenes should be great.

I agree with both your statements, especially the one about venom. It's a fun film, but only due to the sheer stupidity of it. I think the best what if will get is a comic-con exclusive of zombie captain america or something. As for the rest though, I can see them all getting 1-2 sets, though maybe some of them won't have sets until after the series starts. Spider-man: (home pun) will probably have 2-3 sets, along with the other films.

Oh man these look great, I really hope we see more in lego form. As do i. We know at least 3 will be in the TFF and january 2020 waves, if they do more TROS sets later in 2020 we could possibly get them all by 2021. I would like these to be the canonical names of these characters, can someone please write to Pablo hildago.

I agree, and while some areas do end up looking somewhat bland, a bland interior is pretty easy to customize. I'll be picking this one up day one, probably along with the mandalorian at-st. I assume it'll be whatever they have the most stock of, so probably sets that sold poorly.

I don't think they'd move one. If they did, I agree it would be doctor strange 2, the may release. They could cut down on quantity but I think it'll be the same overall, just less per film.

it might be "spicy figure" because they can't say what it is yet. If it is just that he didnt recognize it, then it's probably Jannah as she hasn't really been in any marketing. Seeing the new fallen order trailer makes me want sets even more, even just a small set with Kal and Second sister.

I agree, she's not likely. However, I think there's got to be more than just that, unless they give Ahsoka's walkabout and seige of mandalore 8 episodes. No, it's poe's from the trailers. R2 makes me think that this set has an r2-series astromech port, could this x-wing be a t-65, is it custom, or does incom go back to r2-style ports? I do hope we get Jannah, but what if the 'spicy' figure is nein numb? I feel like for it to be 'spicy' it has to be somewhat unexpected.

That's SUMC, so it won't get sets. I also can't figure out how they'd do that film, as madame webb's whole Schtick kind of involves alerting spider-people to threats and getting them to fight battles, doesn't it? Like, what would the plot be if it was just her? I don't think we'll be getting SUMC sets, not unless disney needs that to get another deal done, so spidey can be in more than spider-man 3 and avengers 5. i agree though, a great year for marvel. There's a really good nano-gauntlet piece leak (from the helicopter set), detail is great.

Batman who laughs is kind of dark too, killing his bat-family and all. A black lantern part would be really useful for realistic MOCS of past centuries, but I agree it's not likely

My local lego store put out the 2018 star wars sets a week early, and got some pretty harsh reprimanding from the lego group. Now they refuse to put anything out before the release date, or even let a customer request a set from storage a day early. I get it though, they don't want to lose their jobs. Just goes to show lego's cracking down.

Black and Brown are the only really common colors, though grey and white would be nice too. Don't want to get off topic, all I'll say is there's an LOTR universe amazon series coming soon. Speaking of the hood part, and the knight it belongs too, weren't there 3 knights leaked? Along with the mando torso and obi-wan and anakin heads, that's a sizable amount of leaks for january 2020 as early as september. I do agree the robes should have been tiles.

Same here with the falcon, except I'm not 100% sure if I'll pick it up day one or wait until christmastime. I'm already planning on getting the mandalorian set and maybe another HOA. Agreed I agree, looks much better without all the shade on the boxart. If I was more into statues or the PT I'd pick it up.

Definately. I was just saying that personally I will make a tatooine one to represent the whole trilogy. At least to me, tatooine, hoth, and endor are main planets of the origional trilogy. I also like the red colour. The mcquarrism of the design is nice too.

I'll probably buy this, just because it's only $20 and I've always liked the death star. Might connect it to the death star one from january. Expect double VIP points, though endor may be all we get freebie wise, at least for actual bricks and not just a poster or something. Do you mean the obi-wan from the gun turret has the paper cape, or the snowtrooper from this set? Because obi-wan's not in this set.

YES! Maybe if they do sets for the 2020 avengers game. dang, I've been stalling on that 4+ green goblin set, but it doesn't look like we'll be getting Norman in a full anytime soon. If he's not in the next wave I'll pick this one up

They don't call them bps, but the captain america bike (2012) set, ultron drone set, outrider dropship attack, and captain america bike (2019) set are all basically bps, as well as others I'm sure I missed. If they made more would they sell well? yes. But we do have a fair amount

I'm not so sure. Figures from more expensive sets being reused in cheaper sets has happened before with lego marvel, like black widow appearing in the $80 2015 quinjet and then the $20 2016 crossbones truck. There aren't many figures reused from film to film with no design changes, but even wave to wave stuff (like the 2015 cap from the $50 set coming in the $80 civil war set and then the $30 tanker truck set) continues this pattern. In lego star wars this is fairly common, for example with the 2017 snoke from the $160 star destroyer coming in a $60 set 8 months later, and then the praetorian guards from that set coming in a $15 set just four months later, albiet with legs instead of the dress part. I don't think iron man's ever had the same figure across 2 waves of sets, except the mk 50 which again goes from an $80 set to a $60 set (and was really just there to save money so they didn't have to make another new suit design) but if the mechs are mcu-based the mk 85 is likely.

No, for the marvel and star wars liscences they cannot make sets containing only figures, it violates some action figure exclusivity contract. No, it doesn't. Hopefully we get the mk85 in the mech set, or a new comic figure.
