LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Mandalorianknight replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's the absolute best case scenario, but it'd be wise not to get our hopes up. That said, I never would have expected a death watch pack back in 2011. UNTINNI! -
I don't think it's likely we'll see ANYTHING for what if besides maybe a comic-con figure. Exactly I think you're setting your expecations wishlist-high here. It's not too likely that we'll see directly related sets to what-if, as though technically MCU it's an animated series exploring "alternate universes" or however they explained it.

I don't think the look thing works here. We know his armor DRASTICALLY changes through the course of the show. Though I agree it's likely another character I know it's confirmed as a "battlepack" but my point is more so it won't neccesarily be an army builder of antagonists. Previous sets within just the past few years have included opposing sides (tusken raider fighting jawas on the boxart), named characters (Ki-adi mundi and Bariss Offee (I messed up her name I know)), and canonical, correctly scaled builds (imperial speeder from the solo pack), so isn't out of the question. -

Ideally, we get a full wave of mandalorian sets, but we only have one more coming that we know of, and it's the battlepack Not sure what's going on with those sand blue arms and torso print, it might not actually be THE mandalorian's . have we considered that this might not be a standard battlepack, per se, but more a battlepack-sized small mando set? I want those films to be wiped from legends. The only good thing to come out of them is the Blurrg -

We know the mando HAS to be in the pack, or some other jan 2020 set, as a torso leaked months ago Other than that, it makes sense, though I do hope we see kuill and/or IG-88 at some point, there's no evidence placing them over any other figures -

Yes. Sounds like the perfect inclusion for the razor crest set, though I could also see a set based on Yes, that's what my comment about it was saying. I wholeheartedly agree with both those statements. Yeah, at this point I'd almost rather have a blurrg than a bantha. A battlepack type set with the mando and Kuill on their blurrgs, with 2 raiders, thugs, or stormies thrown in, could work pretty well. 100% speculation. but there's still the battlepack coming 2020... -

I agree, it has to be at least republic gunship sized in-universe, so it should be pretty bi as a set. -

I was pointing to the fact that speculation on this thread tends to become "confirmation" of something. I haven't seen the episode yet, I'll be watching it and then binging through as much TCW as I can later tonight, but from what I've heard (And I've heard spoilers indeed), it's very well done. -

There is a boba fett image floating around on legoleaks and just to quash the inevitable "this means we're getting slave one UCS again in 2020", the guy says in the description it's a "leak" from 2017. -

I think at this point all we can do is hold out hope for a fireball. Pirate ships would be great, but it's really unlikely we'd get them in only the second wave. That said, I would have said the same thing about black ace and a first wave of 2 sets. No clue. -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

over 2 months late, but it would be nice to get another set. And yeah, the whole controversy is redicolous. The stupidity of the argument itself aside, the "controversy" wouldn't even be with lego but with Lucas, as it's not lego's IP. They started making the figures look "normal" with their last few TCW sets, I'd hope they keep doing that. -

In that case I agree, they aren't circular enough, though it'd be hard to solve that at that scale keeping it that stable. Weirdly, I kind of hope it's not too different from the 2015 and 2016 x-wings, just for consistancy -

Hey, that'd be right around thanksgiving! Like last year, when I believe they leaked ON thanksgiving. Hold on a second, do you mean FO tie fighter or resistance x-wing -

we could also see that hair with a double-sided face print, one with goggles and one without. Good to know. -

My sentiments exactly, hence why i said I was actually hoping it wasn't the razorcrest. Hopefully bigger, if we get a good interior. -

So it looks like we'll be getting at most one system scale set. And based on the cost, I'm actually hoping it's not the razorcrest. I believe they'll have the normal faces, as the later sets, rebels and resistance sets did. It is. The shaping, the cockpit, even from the brief glimpse of it in combat we see in the trailers, it just feels like classic star wars. -

I remain cautiously optimistic about the razorcrest, as i do about the clone wars sets. As I've mentioned it many times before, I have no love for the prequels, but I grew up on TCW. Also it'd just be really nice to get a phase 2 shiny helmet in a set again. Thanks. -
[MOC] mid-scale Millennium Falcon (WIP)
Mandalorianknight replied to anothergol's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's an amazing model! Very smooth, INCREDIBLY accurate. It's like a more affordable version of the UCS falcon, though somehow more detailed. -

I hope so. Being able to have all 3 droids in comparative scale would be pretty cool. Is it confirmation of an april wave then? If so, I hope we get the razorcrest. -
