i mean, they don't exactly bar people under 18 from buying them. I think it's more of an interest thing, they're appealing to people who were around when The Empire Strikes Back came out, at least partially. And that's why lego didn't make the boba fett and stormtrooper that detailed.

Hahahaha! Yeah, to me it looks like the 2001 stormtrooper helmet design too, especially in terms of the eyes and mouth. I forget exactly, but I think right now we know of: April wave: Boba fett and stormtrooper, D-0, possible another set. Summer wave: Anakin's interceptor, BARC and AT-RT with 4 clones, AAT, Night buzzard, Grievous's starfighter, AT-AT, baby yoda + mando brickheadz. September: Razorcrest, My question is if we know anything about whether the april set is coming out or not, or anything about more potential summer sets as I think someone said a while back. -

We could see a new rescue design, if not the exact same figure. And the new rescue comic outfit from that whole iron man 2020 line looks pretty similar. Actually, with a hulkbuster and iron man, too, that's at the very least a big coincidence with the iron man 2020 line. -

I don't know, looking at it I can see what you're talking about but feel like it would need alot of modification, and not just swapping out the cockpit/crane for a cannon. But, if you do end up building it, make sure to post it, because it's be interesting to see how you tackle it. -

i don't think so, if that's an average-sized adult it's definitely big enough, unless it's completely hollow. I'm planning on putting the stormtrooper on my desk, too! I know! It's the opposite with Boba, I might buy the stormie instead and make a modified version of his helmet in the mando's colours. -
This feels unfair. You can't exactly compare these to those MOCs, lego can't afford to make helmets that big. Designers are given a set price point to work with, and these don't look terrible for their price. (OK, maybe the stormie, but the boba fett looks great.) ^This. 100%

I don't know, I'd say from what I know of marvel and DC they're getting more expensive too. It's warranted sometimes (inflation exists), but other times I feel like it's complaining for the sake of it. I will say though, there have been quite a few recently. Snoke's throne room, grievous's combat speeder, tantive IV, Poe's most recent x-wing, and the $30 landspeeder, among others -

meh. I've got the 2015 hulk, and don't see any need to gte this one. Same. I would rather have had him than the easier-to-make-purist-custom-of Yelana, but I get why they went with her instead. -

Imagine a non-ucs grievous starfighter for $100, I think i'd quit buying lego altogether. I know you just meant that we don't 100% know the exact price, but the thought of that set being more expensive is horrifying True. -
I don't know man, seems like it'll be made based on AOTC, and sounds like we'll get one fan figure. Domino squad, is, as you say, a long shot. Honestly the RGS and the nebbie both had some pretty good fan figures, we could have jedi bob for the RGS and Rebel friend for the nebuleon-b. Even beach trooper for the tie Bomber!

Well, like I ninja'd you with, it does look like the old helmet for the stormie, but not boba fett. That'd be an interesting build, though. -

Agreed. I think the stormtrooper does look severely flawed, but the boba fett looks good. Studs, as you say, are what make them look like legos. That said, I don't think i'd pick up an iron man one. as @Guyon2002 says, this IS marvel based, we're talking about sets that will be the same style to the iron man one. -

Strong violence and language. . Just to show they're for adults and not meant for kids. (what kid's going to want a boba fett helmet instead of, say, the razorcrest, anyway?) Similar to most people, I love the boba fett one but think the stormtrooper is flawed. I can't get a good sense of scale, but depending on how large it is I might buy it. I think the stormtrooper looks kind of like the original lego stormtrooper helmets from 2001, just in how the eyes and mouth look. -

This is different though, for endgame I remember marvel wanted NOTHING to be revealed about that movie, so even stuff like the 4+ "thanos attacks a police station" sets were kept under wraps. With this, they have no reason whatsoever spoiler-wise, even if the final set is for exogol, since it's march. I think it might be more like @jdubbs's reasoning. You're telling me it might not be a massive $70 501st battle pack with 18.67 501st troopers? -

I don't believe a hulkbuster would work well with the game's mechanics and how the hero system works, but it could certainly show up in one of those comics. -
now that I know what it's supposed to be, I can see it 100%. Looks really good, actually. It's just weird to comprehend the scale of just how large star destroyers are, especially with your large ship next to it.

We had the endgame images a year and 4 days ago. These sets are supposed to release two weeks later, I think, but still, there's no way 2 helmets and a retail exclusive should have more secrecy than endgame. -

Mandalorianknight replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
well, the merchandise companies like lego actually didn't know about the child before the release of the show, so at the very least the brickheadz and baby yoda figure in the razorcrest were rushed, likely also the ship itself. Most SW fans know the razorcrest and baby yoda even if they don't have disney+ or live in the us, and EVERYBODY knows baby yoda even if they're not in the US. But anyway, my point is that they won't be eager to make the same mistake again. -

I agree with your agreement, especially the part about the increase in location sets. It would make sense for them to reveal the april sets, seeing as it's already march! -

It's great to see some optimism on this forum. People complain about everything, but when you look at this year objectively it's not that bad. As you say, new things we've never had like ben's hut and the bantha, and then updates of sets that are pretty expensive on the secondhand market and pretty iconic, too. There's sequel, OT, and prequel sets. (In fact, I think the prequels might have the most system-scale sets of any era coming out this year if you count the mandalorian separate from the OT). Sure, the april wave is looking to be weaker than the others, but the other sets we're getting/have gotten this year are great for the most part. I mean, who can complain about a mandalorian battle pack, a $30 set with multiple GAR vehicles and 4 clones, another AT-AT and AAT, the Razorcrest, etc? -
Yeah, and then lego shut it down due to their (at that point) unofficial "no licensed sets from current themes" rule. A few more sets, mostly battle packs: Clone trooper battle pack: 2 p2 shinies, 1 501st trooper, 1 212th trooper. build is a BARC speeder $14.99 Clone specialists battle pack: 1 arc trooper (battlefront 2's default), fives (arc trooper), clone commando (shiny), ARF trooper (501st). Build is a correctly sized at-rt and a turret. $14.99 Droid army battle pack: 4 b1 battle droids, 2 b2 battle droids, build is a crab droid $14.99 Droid specialist battle pack: 2 commando droids, 2 magnaguards, build is 2 droidikas. $14.99 Rebel forces battle pack: 2 fleet troopers, 1 rogue one style trooper, 1 fleet officer. Build is terrain and a turret. $14.99 Imperial battle pack: 2 stormtroopers, imperial officer, 1 scout trooper. Build is a speeder bike and barricade. $14.99 Imperial troop transport: like the kenner toy that's now been seen as a vehicle in rebels and the mandalorian. 2 stormtroopers, a deathtrooper, gideon, the mandalorian, kara dune. $59.99 Tie interceptor: New tie interceptor built like 2018's tie fighter (but clearly with different wing shape, etc). Figures are Tie pilot, imperial crew member, stormtrooper, and lando (general) $69.99 Arquitens-class cruiser (looks like a flattened star destroyer): Large cruiser, similar to the gozanti in that it has a few places that can open for figures but not a large interior. Figures are Admiral Constantine, 2 stormtroopers, 2 imperial crew, rex (stormtrooper disguise), Ezra (s3-4). $129.99

I'm gonna say that not only would it be a weird move to hide information you're able to confirm and then be "forced to" because some youtuber said similar information, and I trust Landino more than Ryan given that he's got a much higher accuracy rate. Also...it's not the 7th selling theme anymore, it's somewhere in the top 6 now Yeah, for whatever reason we never got both the ARF troopers and their walkers in a set, (again besides the turbo tanks). I would say "search your feelings, you know it to be true", but @BacktoBricks beat me too it. -

Given how they didn't seem to anticipate the mandalorian and scrambled to get those other sets with "the child" produced as fast as possible, I'd assume they don't want to make that same mistake with the marvel disney+ shows.
