LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Mandalorianknight replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What you didn't interpret that message from the hidden code made from the silhouettes on the UCS star destroyer? It'll be the entire 501st legion with accurately sized at-rts, arm and leg printing, every clone commander ever AND every single 501st trooper with normal blasters and no stud shooters. Now watch this "leak" someplace and become the next UCS rumor. -

You underestimate this forum's complaint capacity, it'd be nine pages, minimum, with a boycott set up for the at-at because it doesn't have a perfect PPP. -

Iron man, rescue, two agents. 4 Minifigures in total. That said, he was just an example, I don't even think we know if hydra's in the game. -

So do I, and given that they could pretty much just recolor the captain america helmet, I'd hope that's what they do. If there's no printing we could even use it for red guardian! According to the game he's supposed to be "dead", so it might be that. We also got the only costume he seems to wear in the game's story mode (since he "dies" in the trailer), so it might be that if he does show up later he'll be in a different costume and it'll be a spoiler, like hydra captain america from those comics a few years back, so he's one of the tower's figures. The game WAS supposed to come out awhile before this wave before it got delayed, so... Ah yes, the comic book property death, where "no one's ever really gone". Except Gwen stacy's dad and Uncle Ben -
I hope so, it'd be nice to get sets based on things besides tatooine and hoth for once.

Thank you for the clarification! Pretty crazy, we can't even say "it's disney" becuase marvel's got more leaks. They're really ramping up secrecy here. Monkey kid isn't a licensed theme if I'm not mistaken, so it might be a bit different. I think secrecy here has definately gone up though, but it's strange considering that unless those TCW sets are for S7, none of these sets are even about properties that haven't been released yet like with all the movie waves. -
Might be a bit ambitious with 7+ waves, but then again this is for wishlists These all sound great, I also like how it focuses on all trilogies and isn't just "every legion of p2 clone" or "every minor variant of stormtrooper like magmatrooper, sea trooper, etc."

Regarding the "spoiler", after @ArrowBricks objected I put the news in a spoiler, we don't need a ton of comments arguing about whether or not it is one. I still hold that it is both A: not a spoiler due to the excellent points made by @THELEGOBATMAN and others, and B: relevant to the discussion since the mandalorian s2 releases in 2020, but it is probably a good idea to drop it like @Balrogofmorgoth says. I just wanted to share some exciting news reported by mainstream media, not start another off-topic argument. -

I feel like it'll be similar to captain america's helmet, with that accessory hole they can use for the mohawk. -

I'll put it in a spoiler tag but I still hold that a casting announcement isn't a spoiler, it being an official thing reported by actual news sources like NBC and the actress herself. -

How blurry it is has me worried about how legitimate it is, unless @HalfBloodPrince is right about the camera being a potato there's no possible way for that photo to have been taken in a worse way. -
Thanks! I'll have to look into that to try to get the rest of the images uploaded.

It's a casting announcement, not a spoiler. Has nothing to do with what we've seen of the show so far. Sorry, I should have phrased it better. That's REALLY early. -

I don't think most people really care if the tower and helicarrier are the ones from the game, just that we're getting another tower and helicarrier. Also, I don't think there are mechs coming in the summer. -

With (apparently this somehow qualifies as a spoiler) in season 2 of the mandalorian, it's one more opportunity for another ahsoka minifigure if we don't get her in S7, albeit a very different one. -
I made this MOC of an old kenner toy a few years ago, with all these coronavirus lockdowns I finally had time to make a display and upload it! It can technically fit a minifigure, but you have to take apart a few bricks. I also added the dreaded stud guns because I wanted it to fit in with the official sets I had on my shelves. I also made a P-tower turret and some troops to go along with it. EDIT: Thanks to @BEAVeR, I actually have images on this post now instead of the singular low-quality one. Side View of the tank. Back/top view, not much to see here. Opened cockpit. It can barely fit a pilot (I made a custom one as opposed to the hoth troopers the kenner toy had), but I wanted to try to keep the dimensions with the bubble canopy I used. You do have to remove some parts to get him out, as shown. The P-tower was alot of fun to make, I think it's definately more accurate than what we got with assault on hoth. No six-stud shooter, though. As a side note, the troopers I created for the display use scarfs from the apocolypse wyldstyle minifigure from TLM2 I had left over after buying some of her to use the legs on the orange mandalorian from 75267.

We definately need more rebel capital ships, the only thing's we've had bigger than the falcon and ghost are the tantive IV and the Pheonix ship that's destroyed in it's debut episode in rebels. I'd say we've had enough a-wings though, we've had 3 in the past 4 years.

Yeah, the FFH wave was good besides the missing bosco suit, which is just one minifigure out of a whole wave. have to argue that the only good endgame sets were the HoA (amazing set, I have 3 copies ), and the quinjet, maybe the war machine hulkbuster if you just think of it as a marvel set and not an endgame set. -
Lego SW encyclopedia in April: is it worth it ?
Mandalorianknight replied to macaron35's topic in LEGO Star Wars
My only worry is given the aforementioned fact that the book itself only has any worth if you have a kid (happy birthday to yours, by the way), maul will still be about $20 on bricklink. -

not to mention the fact that all of the real information there can be found on bricklink. It's basically $20 for a crimson dawn maul figure, unless you've got a kid to give it to, so I'll wait to see the figure on bricklink. -

Yeah, keep in mind the only real information we got I think was just that they CAN make one now, not that they are. -

I was about to say the same thing. this isn't entirely some random garbage, it actually looks a fair amount like what we see on the falcon in TLJ. -

The people-who-make-sure-we're-informed-about-the-droid-attack-on-the-wookies pack! Jokes aside, we know it'll be 4 clones and 2 droids, we just don't know which clones or droids. Exaaaaactly. Even a broken clock's right twice. (I'm not saying that the set will have 4 501st troopers) -

Ah, I thought you were meaning that you couldn't get parts due to other stores closing, but just general stock crash/currency dropping makes alot more sense. Sorry to hear that. Stay safe, everyone. -

As @Huigberts Builds and @nintendude64 have mentioned, falcon's torso is the best for a comics-accurate one, and there aren't any really good ones for the MCU. If you want a vaguely MCU-looking one, though it wouldn't really be accurate to the film so much as be in the same style as the MCU, captain america or falcon's torsos from 2018's infinity war wave with dark red arms could work.
