  1. I know we're speculating too much, but I just wanted to say I would buy almost all of these in a heartbeat. I had said before I didn't want it to be a character, but if the maul mosaic is that iconic image of his head from TPM like all the posts are using, then my mind will have been changed! Exactly. Telling people what they want to hear is half of the strategy for clickbait, the other one being telling people the worst-case scenario.
  2. Looks great, much better than the original design IMO, but that might just be because the giant molded cockpit parts take away from it looking like a lego set IMO. honestly, I'm now wanting to get this set more than I previously did , just so I can switch out the cockpit for your design.
  3. I really don't think Kessel, Savereen, or white worms den would make good playsets, just on account of them not really having memeroable bits of arcitecture. Kessel's really just tunnels, which would be difficult to make a playset, savereen is just terrain, and the white worms den is just a pond and more tunnels. A duel type dryden vos set would work. oh, and i only hate TLJ, I was just poking fun that a fair amount of people here hate anything disney produces except rogue one. But I'm assuming for duels, we'll continue to get our one duel per year. Luke vs vader, yoda vs dooku, the 7 million rey/kylo duels in TROS, we would unfortunately probably see alot of lightsaber duels before a solo one.
  4. Seems like a good price for all the parts, especially for the model. And I don't know about you guys, but while I did close down my bricklink store, the orders I'm a buyer in have been proceeding normally, so you should be able to get those parts despite SARS-CoV-2
  5. Excuse me while I go buy fishing shop and space station ideas sets and proceed to violently jam them together, then put it on the website!
  6. 1. I don't think you meant me, but just so everyone here is clear I've never sent a PM to this guy. And yeah, he's kind of going overboard, this is a civil forum. Lol. nice (probably unintentional) Darth Maul qoute, and yeah this whole situation gets steadily funnier as it continues.
  7. Set in may: almost certainly. Announcement in early April: I hope so!
  8. Forgot about that one, that could also make a good set. And again, they made prototypes of at least the reek and ackley, so like with yavin it got close. Someone on eurobricks wanting a sequel set? Impossible! I intensely hate canto bight and might be biased, but I think it would only work as a police speeder with fathiers, not the casino. We did get a bit of pasaana market, but the set would literally just be that x100, there's no actual buildings. With solo, The only interesting stuff on corellia was the vehicle action, and we've already had all 3 speeders in that scene. Kessel doesn't really work as a playset, no play feautres, same with savareen. First light IS a vehicle, so the only one that would really work is mimban, and then again it would just be a trench, probably with an AT-DT. There's a reason we don't get too many location sets. Also: Corsucant opera? As a lego set? Really?
  9. Yeah, looks like the closest I can find is Tydrium and AT-hauler each with 5 figures. I'll remove Plo Koon. I feel like it's got to have all the pilots and the astromech, and then of course we need p2 wolffe.
  10. I knew I forgot something! I've even wishlisted a MBS of it in the "future star wars sets" thread too! Didn't they make a prototype at some point and decide not to make it a real set? I could see it as a UCS/MBS, but I don't think It'd work as a normal set.
  11. Yeah, I think "guy who told me to take care of my business is attempting to buy the lego discussion website I visit" is pretty low on my list of fears right now, I'm just interested as to the mindset of deciding to buy the website and whether or not he'd actually go through with it. @GREG998 good on you for trying, i think, but it looks like you won't be able to buy the website after all if @Bonaparte won't respond.
  12. Can you tell us if he'll have a new helmet, or the same one?
  13. I bet you think that about The Empire Strikes Back, too! I will admit we get too many x-wings compared to the other fighters, but that's mainly because of the sequel films directly introducing at least 3 new x-wing models/colourations. T-65b is still the best ship design in star wars. The thing is, there aren't too many iconic star wars locations that aren't just terrain that we haven't gotten already. We've had a bajillion echo bases, and in the past 6 years we got vader's castle, Takodana, Chalmun's cantina, the death star, palpatine's office, niima outpost, mustafar duel (although not nearly big enough), etc. Most of the remaining locations just aren't financially good decisions for lego due to sheer obscurity. I think we could see another Endor bunker, but aside from that there's really not much.
  14. I haven't seen the ship you based this on, but your model looks great!
  15. For what, exactly? The upcoming sets will probably use a similar box design too the january 2020 sets, so look those up if that's what you're looking for? hope this helps. Not neccesarily. And given the level of detail on WM and rumors/leaks about some of the other figures, unless lego marvel's budget has increased 100x I'm not sure we'll see new versions of these characters. Maybe loki with different prints but the same helmet (or just hair), that's the most I would think we'd see.
  16. I was just meaning the people who had been saying it meant exogol was cancelled, I'm 100% with you here on wanting more locations. That said, this year we've had: ben's hut Mustafar duel The rock in the mandalorian battle pack But reastically, two small sets, both can be argued as minifigure-focused. I'm sure that LEGO has figured out vehicles sell better than locations, most kids want their a,b,u,x, and y-wings more than "random takadona wall" for example (though I personally was a big fan of that set, but then again I'm not in that 6-12 range) And even then, only if it does well. And nice choices, but c'mon, no x-wing?
  17. Another good point. not getting exogol doesn't translate instantly into "exegol was cancelled" And I feel this again bears mentioning because people forget it all the time, we are not the target consumer base of lego sets. As such, the fact that there's a fair amount of adults who dislike the sequels for a variety of reasons (personally I think the only bad one was TLJ, the others were at the very least miles better than the prequel films) really doesn't mean anything to lego.
  18. That might be it. Send images if you do! It's really not as many as the internet would lead you to believe, certainly not enough for lego to stop a product releasing, especially since i'll go out on a limb and say most of the people who hate the sequels aren't lego's target consumer base of children.
  19. Yeah, it feels like half the sets are fish or ocean related, and the other half are space.
  20. -Yes, the 2014 vulture was waay too big, so these would be smaller ones that are more accurately sized. -I don't know, 6 figures in a $100 set doesn't sound that bad. -Probably Home One.
  21. I agree, I think it looks the best out of the three. And at $60, too! I might have to get that instead of the stormtrooper, or both! I agree we need to see kylo and grevious, as well as ones from other themes if this wave does well and continues (If you guys want to see clone helmets, buy these so they'll continue the theme!), but it makes sense to start with the OT. Most adults grew up with the OT and it's in general the most well liked of the three trilogies.
  22. It's more of a plague than the coronavirus . There's no real way anything like eurobricks could work, though one of my more "hip" friends said there were alot of memes about the lego star wars game from 2006 on it awhile back. Whatever you say, man. Just let me know when you buy the site.
  23. We have absolutely no idea, we only know up to september 2020 right now. Usually this thread is for wishlisting though, so if you're scrolling up a bit don't expect all the waves of battlepacks we've made up to come true. And to wishlist a bit myself: Scarif Imperials battlepack: 2 shoretroopers, death trooper, stormtrooper. Build is some terrain with an orange crate and little station. $15 Scarif Rebels battlepack: 2 of the troops that came in the u-wing, one with the nougat and gunmetal helmet, one with the hoth helmet (I'm sure someone has all of these guys's names somewhere), build is terrian with a palm tree, $15 Grevious's wheel bike chase: remake of 2005 set. Comes with grevious, Obi-wan, and Cody. $30 Grand Army of the Republic: comes with an Av-7 between scales of the one in the 2013 set and the 2014 set, as well as a 501st AT-RT (accurately scaled). Comes with 2 commando droids, a p2 shiny, a 501st trooper, a 501st ARF trooper, and Fives (arc). $60 Vulture droids: 2 vulture droids. Comes with 2 b1s, a commando droid, Anakin skywalker and a 501st clone. $50 Final duel on exogol: similar to snoke's throne room, comes with the throne, palaptine's puppet arm thing, some science-y and technology stuff like the snoke vats, etc. Palpatine (when he's revitalized, but with a zombie expression on the other side of his face), ben solo, Rey, and 2 of his guards. $70 ARC-170: 2 clone pilots, captain Jag, r2-d2, plo koon, commander Wolff (p2). $100 Final order star destroyer: comes with general Pryde, 2 final order technicians, 2 final order officers, 2 sith troopers, and Finn and Jannah with an Orbak. $150 MC-80 star cruiser: limited interior similar to the gozanti set, comes with ackbar, mon mothma, Wedge (new face print), 2 rebel technicians, 2 rebel fleet troopers, and 2 storm troopers. $180
  24. I think you decide when you have enough. Although as long as you keep your stuff together, lego sells for a ton on bricklink/ebay. In my personal experience I've had people buy figures for $20, $30 even, but if you look there are figures from normal retail sets that released commercially going for waaaaay more than that, and people are buying them. not to mention the sets themselves, especially in themes like star wars, they're worth a ton of money.
  25. i'm assuming this is a joke, but i'll "take care of my business" just in case the future owner of eurobricks tries to assassinate me. Seriously man, take a chill pill. Exactly. I don't feel threatened by this guy, he's actually kind of hilarious in his "threats", randomly bringing in covid-19, and of course this crusade of his to buy the website, but posting what I've quoted above on this is kind of a new level of stupid, even if there's no way for him to follow up on this threat/joke. Some of us who aren't "old" per se still prefer stuff like this over some of the more popular social media forms among younger people. And yeah, the forums are so much better for all the reasons you list above when for a topic such as lego. The social media excels more in communication and whatnot.
