  1. It might not happen, it's just what I'd personally hope for. I also hope this helmet line continues, especially if they're only $60. Grievous, preatorian, royal guard, scout and snow troopers, p1 and p2 clones, rebel pilot helmet, vader, etc, would all make great helmets.
  2. A new starboost would be great, his last "space suit" is pretty expensive on bricklink.
  3. No, I agree, I think that they can't afford to make tham MOC quality and also that @GREG998 is hilariously overreacting. This reads a bit like a threat, what with saying you'll see him soon in a legitimate location, I would watch your words there.
  4. 100% the malevolence, the ion cannons give it away.
  5. Yes, the mods here don't needlessly ban and are pretty kind when people are out of line He got pretty upset over the reaction of a few people over someone who said the lego helmets are bad because they're not MOC quality. (given, like 20 people jumped on the guy, but still), so he's claiming he'll buy the website.
  6. hmm. Hope it's something like the death star or falcon, and not just a character's face. Seems to me the helmets should be used for that purpose instead, since they can be 3-d.
  7. I love the night monkey figure, and totally agree about molten man being mostly ok. However, I couldn't wait for that stealth suit and bought it full price, which was a mistake. At least I have the firefighter. Same here. They'll reveal these sets and I'll "decide" to buy them, and then they'll reveal the AT-AT and I'll end up bricklinking war machine and buying the hulkbuster and that's it.
  8. I think @Peppermint_M's comment illustrates my point better than I seem to be able too. They do not seem to want to sell this forum
  9. Wow! That looks absolutely amazing! I love the use of those nexo shield holder things. As things get ever worse here in the united states to the point of schools, restaurants, etc being forced by the government to shut down to avoid the spread, it's nice to see something like a moc about it.
  10. I don't think this is the type of thing you buy, based on how they seem to be volunteers.
  11. I only buy star wars and marvel, and only some sets at that, but between the helicarrier, hulkbuster, and avengers tower I'm gonna end up spending alot more than I wanted to on this wave. I think lego marvel works better when it has actual vehicles and locations to work with, which is why the comic wave is shaping up to be so much better than, say, endgame.
  12. Great, That's actually alot more reasonable than $70 when you consider the part count.
  13. In that case I was just overthinking it, I thought there was something else. I can't qoute @LEGOscum's post for some reason, but I'm assuming you're referring too the TIE pilot leaking or a press release? I look forwards to seeing it!
  14. Good news, helmet's wrong. Shoulder cannon's missing, too. I love the torso and leg prints, they look great. If it tops infinity war's wave, my wallet will be the only thing upset here.
  15. Agreed, @Midlife-crisis this is one heck of a ship. Also agreed that while the flex tubes and hose technique isn't something I'm a fan of, there's really nothing else you can do.
  16. i still don't get it, I swear this virus panic is making me lose my mind. it's weird not having figures leak for this wave, I hope we see the TIE pilot soon, especially since the sets are what, a month away?
  17. True, it's like that simpsons meme, "stop, stop, it's already dead" . When you've got a ton of people arguing against one post, it can be pretty annoying. I still don't think deleting his post and the thread title was the right move, but it's understandable how he got there. And yeah, @GREG998 threatening to buy eurobricks is like that "toys are doomed. toys are doomed. toys are doomed" guy from the mario thread. People need to take a step back.
  18. I like the optimism, and yeah this next wave sounds pretty good. That would be cool. I think one of the problems with having UCS type sets for marvel is most of the people who would buy them would be the MCU fans, since the comics aren't nearly as popular as the MCU, and with the MCU the only real options for UCS sets are stark tower, hulkbuster, and the helicarrier. However, despite sanctuary ll not being as well known, it had a fair amount of screen time in endgame, the highest-grossing film of all time, so I'd say it could totally sell well, and be one heck of a set.
  19. I'm sorry, I assumed your intent to buy eurobricks to strike down us "malevolents" was a troll, let me know when you purchase the site! I didn't see @kristof 's comment, which does sound over the line. However, I'd argue @GREG998's comments are getting borderline insane, what with calling us "malevolents" and threatening a "preview" of his apparent intent to purchase this website. Look, if you make a post criticizing a product you can expect to get other people criticizing you. You don't have to agree with the product, but you shouldn't be immune from criticism on your arguments either. The fault isn't completely macron's, nothing's his "fault", he just made a point that other people pointed out some flaws in.
  20. Yeah, in general i think the helmets were a better idea than mosiacs. I think the AFOl vs adult question makes sense here. AFOLS likely don't account for much of the consumer base, maybe a small amount of a theme like star wars or technic but I don't think marvel has as many afols. Adults in general represent a MUCH larger amount of the population, and if lego tries to get people who don't typically buy lego to, say, buy a helmet or mosiac, then they can get more people to buy the set than a $600 endgame final battle playset, for obvious reasons.
  21. I'm going to assume this is satire or trolling now, thank you! Anyway, while there are certianly valid criticisms of these helmets I think they'll sell well among the adults who aren't strictly lego fans but still geeks or star wars fans.
  22. Yeah, at least that $100 set HAS to be something other than the game ones, the PPP alone is strong evidence. And I think they do know the risks, just that it's one they can take. I don't think they're "living on a prayer", though. I thought you were responding with your text after the first qoute because I got the notification before your edit came in on my computer, your comment makes alot more sense now.
  23. I'm sorry, I still don't understand. A preview? a preview of what?
  24. Kuill is actually the emperor confirmed! Hopefully we'll see minifigure-scale sets, some like the $99.99 witch 1010 parts, and some others, seem like they can't be the game sets considering the large amounts of large pieces in the game sets we've seen so far, not to mention that wven without the mario those RFID sticker things on the goombas and whatnot can't be cheap. Yes, some people are upset lego's trying something new and have prophesized doom for lego itself. It's actually kind of funny. i don't know, there's a difference between the people saying "hey kids might like this" and I feel like there's a bit of a difference between "I wish they did something else with the theme" and quotes like the one above. Criticism is welcome, and this theme certianly could use a fair amount based on what we've seen so far, but I don't think it needs to be at quite this level. Most people are criticising this reasonably, but there are a few that are to the extent of satire, trolling, etc.
  25. Yeah, there's a difference between deleting posts due to harassment and deleting posts due to criticism. If you look at the posts no one's attacking this guy or even using harsh langauge, just pointing out that you can't reasonably expect lego to create helmets as good at those MOCS, especially considering that they have price points they're given. I can't really tell what this means, but I wouldn't assume that people are screaming at him in PM if he himself hasn't said anything about it. "Are you threatening me, master jedi" That said, I don't think any of the comments in this thread to macron were "malevolent" towards him, definitely nothing deserving moderator action.
