  1. I haven't got the figure in person, but I've seen a lot of people suggesting the light tan/orange mullet for Peter Pettigrew. I think it would work a lot better than the bright orange in the graveyard duel.
  2. I wonder if it'll be a mould like the Sponge-bob, A brick built like Ice-Cream Cone or an ugly block like the angry birds figs. Either way, this is a terrible choice both for compatibility and content. I can only hope Illumination pressured them into doing this for the license deals on other properties rather than Lego actively choosing it.
  3. The Gravity Falls set hit 10k recently and the show's creator tweeted his support. I feel like its a definite pick now tbh. https://twitter.com/_AlexHirsch/status/1133922676618039296?s=20
  4. People have already raised points about the noses being a big part of the character models. In fact, none of them would translate well to Lego form. It'd have to be new moulds for basically all of the characters or it'd look off. I personally think it will flop. My favorite quote from the Instagram reveal: "Ask Mega Bloks how well they sold"
  5. I genuinely hate minions. The films are derivative and the lowest form of comedy. They're cheap, rely on crass humor and have almost no comedy. I'd even argue that they're negative influences on kids. Point being: I think that they're gonna loose more PR for this than they did with the 16+ Stranger Things set. Not looking forward to it.
  6. I doubt that the Goofy is real, for one, they seem to be pushing the separateable pieces for the Disney figures and this seems out of place to have it moulded together. Beyond that, the hat has some really poor print quality on the top and the printing on the figure looks off. Also, the guy who introduced it isn't a reliable source and a lot of credible leakers are letting this be known. As much as I want a goofy figure and am sure we'll get one soon, I doubt that this leak is official.
  7. Made my first Bricks and Pieces order, quite pleased with it. Lots of the stranger things parts being sold. Also, some nice new Potter pieces (but no prints ). I couldn't find the Carriage and the Graveyard understandably, but weirdly the Far From Home minifigure pack is listed which I didn't expect.
  8. Has anyone tried emailing customer support after buying the pack? If the print is broken surely they'd issue a replacement part.
  9. Pretty much all of the Super-pets have existing moulds. Streaky, Ace, Krypto, Bat-Cow, Plas (Bird). I could see them doing a new mould for Ch'p or Dex-starr but other than that they could just add capes to the existing figures.
  10. The Treehouse was selected to be the 25th Lego Ideas set back alongside the Flinstones set, but since then we've had no word on it, even including the Steamboat Willie set replacing it on the number ranking (despite originally being incorrectly labeled as 24, it's now labeled as 25). Did Lego just cancel this set to the wayside? I haven't heard anythig about it since it was first announced. Anyone know whats happening there?
  11. 1) This just makes you sound pretentious. 2)So we should just tell kids that they can't have the set they want for their birthday because it's not coming out for a month in their country? I'd be pissed even if I was in the age bracket, kids aren't stupid.
  12. Someone finally printed some tiles for Castle Byers!
  13. I could see this as a real possibility. It's on a similar level to Stranger Things and has a big enough following.
  14. I'm pretty sure the render is taken directly from the game's marketing. I would love a Doomsday big-fig but I doubt they'd make one with his containment suit on.
  15. I could see them doing some minifigure packs for the Disney+ shows, it would work well with the 2 heroes and a villain.
  16. I feel like this would be unlikely as the character is banned in... certain markets...
  17. Your son has a great sense of humor and a lot of talent, you should be very proud!
  18. We DID get that reference in TLM2, I wouldn't mind that time-travel platform. Besides, Terminator is horror and uses guns but isn't really gory.
  19. I can't see them making this into a wave of sets because it'd probably sparsely sell and the figures are the main draw for this set, but I wouldn't put it past them to do a figure pack or another D2C down the line because of how well received this set has been.
  20. Anyone know the average time it takes for a new release to get on Bricks and Pieces, I really want some of those new short-legs from the Stranger Things set.
  21. They weren't even that limited. Staff were actively just giving out multiples, one staff member was helping a lady build 4 sets to take with her.
  22. Or you buy a custom printed one because Lego don't do well when it comes to Marvel figures. Go full Lego Batman Movie and do a stripper / swimsuit Iron Man
  23. Do we know if the Harry Potter CMF sold well? I would absolutely love another wave and can't really see a reason for Lego not to do it (Aside from waiting until the next Fantastic Beasts film for publicity).
  24. Basically all I want is for them to make a second Advent Calendar and recolour Hagrid's pieces in Red and White for a Santa variant that makes a lot of sense, but I can't see it happening because the mould already increases the price of sets a lot. I'd settle for Santa Dumbledore. I kinda want them to do a Diagon Alley in separate sets. Putting the whole street into one UCS would ultimately limit a lot of the builds, but they've done a lot with their connecting Hogwarts and I'd love to see them make some connecting stores. I'd love a Grimmauld Place, I could see them doing a great job making some building facades to make it appear like it's hidden.
  25. I'd LOVE a Fallout series, but with its very... lenient... views on the inclusion of drugs, Sex and child slavery and gruesome themes, I sincerely doubt we'd ever get it. I could genuinely see Elder Scrolls happening though, most of the "drugs" in that series could be explained as illegal alcohol or the fantasy equivalent of Moonshine, It would also work pretty perfectly in Lego form, with Dragon builds, all the architecture and the potions mostly already existing as Lego pieces.
