  1. I think so. The insect head gear has black colour as eyes (At least I assume it is meant to represent eyes) printed on it. Took me a while to see a face, too - something that never happened in any Lego build or figure before which makes it one of the worst designs Lego has ever produced in my opinion... right next to series 19 carebear.
  2. I would be to me honestly after the failure of Vidiyo... If they aren't from a strong IP like Harry Potter or the really really gorgeous generic ones (like Series 20 viking) the 4€-ones don't sell at my place anymore without a huge discount. There are still Series 18 figures on shelves. Until now the price was allways going up with a "special"/strong series, too. 2,50€ / Simpsons 1 (had licence costs for the first time and lots of special character specific heads) 3€/Disney ( well ... it was Disney)... That made it easier to swallow. This series is quite objectively weak with the amount of detail, special moulds and so on... also there are no licence costs. If these are 5€ each I'll able to buy pretty much all of them except for the horse and bard at stores in 2031...
  3. On instagram it said it would cost 4,99€ now... is that true? O.o
  4. Well... I am glad I stopped collecting whole serieses after series 20. I adore the racoon girl and Bard. I still prefer the Brickwarriors mould for the lute but the Lego version is pretty, too. I need those. Thanks to the horse, medium legs and the shirt with arm printing I will get one and give the creepy face to somebody, too. The Tucan will be bricklinked. Even if he costs 3,50€ it is still a better deal than to pay anything extra for the boring figure... The dark elves legs, dark green medium legs, skaters hair and snow warriors outfit could be tempting if they are cheaply available in bricklink, when I am already ordering in a store... I dont want the rest for free. :/
  5. Wonderfull review :) It is a great set for castle fans, too. If you sell the figures you have a perfect little house in the woods for a great price. The only things I really don't like are the grey pieces in the trees (These are really needed in some other colours) and the "hunny" writing. I don't get what's cute or funny about wrong spelling. It also doesn't help children when they see the wrong version. I think the bear would look much better with medium legs and without the outlines at the sides of his belly...
  6. With the rumors about an the old republic-movie and the announced remake of kotor: HK-47 and Darth Malak with one special mould for each of them... If Lego was smart they would finally release an Ebon Hawk now... If I get At least these two characters, I can do the rest by myself with custom prints.
  7. I don't know, if this is the right place for it, but did anyone here come up with a good idea for a minifig scale sharpening wheel? The one in the ideas set is quite "meh"...^^'
  8. May I ask with wich legs you combined them? :)
  9. I can't imagine the theme return in any Form except maybe as a cmf. There are lots of people who love Lotr, but a large part of them owns the old Lego stuff already, which makes a remake of these sets less desireable for them. Lego can't just do the missing stuff because new customers would want for example the fellowship and so on, too. On top of that there is pretty much everything missing already available by now from other companies on a level of quality Lego would/could not reach. The only missing things I haven't found gorgeous custom options for yet are Faramir (there are plenty customs but not a single good one as far as I can tell) Thrain, Thror and Orcrist.
  10. Great... Now I want a Schwarzenegger Mr. Freeze minifigure :'D To be honest I am a huge fan of the Nolan Trilogy, Arkham Videogames and a few other versions of Batman, but I am not the kind of expert that has a huge comic collection, knows all the movies and so on. What do you guys expect, if Lego goes on with giving us such neat little Batmobil sets? I'd love a Arkham Knight Batmobil including the Arkham Knight as a minifigure, but I doubt that could happen so many years after the game released ... and it isn't as popular as Sonic or Portal ^^'
  11. Correct. If it is a normally written noun (without * or : in the middle of the word, which some people are trying to establish at the moment) and ends with "-in" or "-innen" , it is definitely female. A dark elf would be cool... If Lego goes that way I could see her having a light bluish gray skin. I mean a yellow face would not really be fitting, would it? What do you guys think? I have to say I am confused and dissapointed by the snow warrior. I have no clue what it is supposed to be. To me it could be a random Mix of BAM-Parts... poorly chosen parts. The one thing i hoped for was that he at least had a beard piece... like the new Dumbledore one in another colour. He has good chances to become my third most disliked Cmf after the S19 carebear and S21 singer...
  12. IG hashtag legoleaks. the poster smeared paint on top of the paper that comes with the figures and put a huge picture of the old islanders chief from the pirates theme in front of it... I think it is supposed to be funny?... In the background you see a few very weak figures that match the description of some of the rumored figures, so I guess this is the picture - of At least a modified Version- some others talked about earlier.
  13. The robot had potential. I love the robot from series 1 and his evil twin. The leaked Picture looks like a redesign of C3PO having strong social media/Lego Vidijo influence... I don't want that thing for free. The Skater ... well... he looks like you would expect a male version of the Series 4 (?) Skater from back then to look like... That one that was already one of the weaker figures a time when they were still 2€ each. I don't know which female figure I saw. It could be the one that comes with the horse or with the bird... in both cases it is a dissapointing one. I will only get it if the separate animal is more expensive in bricklink than the 4€-bag... and then probably give it to somebody. Well... until now I am not very happy with that series... I hole the other figures get better ^^'
  14. Do we know that the moon warrior will be a fantasy/historical figure? The cmf 21 space-Cop had a shield, too
  15. Well... I had very low expectations, but Lego managed to limbo dance below that xP
  16. Well... Krusty Burger would have been a great success in 2016. Now with the other buildings retired for several years and lego mostly caring about new customers it won´t be chosen for sure sadly. I´d love to be wrong and buy it day 1. I also don´t expect this hobbit set to be chosen after the superior one was rejected. All the gorgeous modulars also have no chance. Modulars are never chosen. I´d say the Snow White set counts as a modular, too. Can´t say I have any interest in the rest. With Lego aiming at the target group of non-afols, who buy a display model as a unique piece of decoration, the book-ends are pretty likely. If Lego had style they would release a "bag end"-bookend :,D
  17. Hm... i assume it has to be DC when this question is in the DC thread. I'd be in fact very happy with Black mask(using a special mask mould), Mad Hatter and Azrael in a look that matches their appearance in the Arkham videogames. If I can get variants too, I'd like to get a good Deathstroke using the bald hairpiece with bandana or a new helmet and the Arkham knight with a new helmet mould. It would also be very nice to have Ra'as in his Batman Begins design.
  18. The original Kotor is a mile stone of video game history with a huge fan base that partly isn't even much into Star Wars except for that game. If it is a good remake with the same plot in new technology, it is pretty much guaranteed that the SW fans both old and young will love it. The children, who grew up with it are now adults able to buy for example an Ebon Hawk for nostalgia. It would be a set that works perfectly fine alone on a shelf as a nerdy decoration object. There also never was an Ebon Hawk, so many collecters screaming for new ships would be happy, too. It would not surprise me at all to see one such big set aimed towards adults. I mean, there is not even any need for any new moulds except for HK 47's head. Real children toy sets will pretty much completely depend on what Disney is planing with the old republic. What do you guys think about the rumor of a Mandalorian Beskar helmet in the helmet collection? I could not be less interested in such a set but the possibility to get lots of metallic silver pieces makes me really excited.
  19. Funny. I was going to Post exactly the same. My dream SW Set would be an Ebon Hawk with a new Mould for HK47's head.
  20. To be honest my hopes for future cmfs are pretty low... To me it was always about getting "special" minifigures, we would not see otherwise. Stuff like Ceasar is just great and I am more than willing to pay some money for such a figure that requires moulds that are useless otherwise... In Series 21 there was just the Aztec-Warrior that felt this way. There were allways 14/15 out of 16 figures I really liked or loved. The one or two "ok" ones for the complete set were fine for that price... Now the distribution between "love it" "really like it" and "ok" ones changed drastically. I especially dislike that we get more and more boring random city characters that offer nothing I could not expect from a cheap standard set figure... like the biker or firefighter from the newer serieses. The female police officer hairpiece was introduced in a city set, too. If Lego wants 4€ per figure I expect more than for 1,50€ where a skateboarder as filler is perfectly fine. With series 19's carebear and 21's Singer there were even the first figures I think are really ugly. I don't want to own them even If someone gave me the money they cost, if I pur them on my shelf. So Lego made me stop collecting complete serieses. Congratulations. I expect not more than one cool animal suit (frog sounds great) and one cool historical/fantasy character from now on... My dream figure would be a dwarf warrior with a reprinted octagonal "stop"-shield like it was used in one Lego movie 2 set.
  21. If cmf bags don´t count (I still can´t believe how gorgeous some of the Looney Toons are) the minifig tumbler is my favourite set of the year. It is beautifull to a degree that makes me buy it even with the use of stickers. Does anyone know a good custom printer who does metal colours on curved pieces? The tumbler is worth the effort of making the grafics. Do I see it correctly that the Joker has a white head now?
  22. I just got the new Pluto mould :) He has a hole on top of his head. I am pretty surprised. Any ideas what headgear he could get in future sets?
  23. Do you mix fleshies and yellow figures? I'd put Caesr and Shakespeare into the store. They could read each others work :D
  24. There are in fact some I did not think of. Sure. Zoomania for example would certainly be popular. Cruella on the other hand... I think it has a reason she doesn´t appear in many of the 101 Dalmations toys.^^´ I´d personally love to get a completely out of scale minifig version of Archimedes with no other use than that I can put him as my favourite Disney character on my desk (as long as he gets a nice headpiece with belly like Big bird) but I am aware he isn´t that well known and has little value for Mocs, so he would probably be a bad choice to include. I think back when they started planning series 1 it would have been easy to fill 4 serieses. I see the problem in getting such a mix done again, because the first two serieses were extremely cherry picking in three ways. It was in both cases a well sorted mix of different Disney eras (classic Mickey Mouse Comics, Pixar animation, really old classics, 90s Disney Renaissance... something for everyone). So the quesion is not only, if there are any Disney movies popular enough movies left they could make figures of (which there certainly are), but if there are enough for the different periods, if the concept of the series is supposed to stay the same. Otherwise the target group would shrink. On the one hand they also took very, very strong/popular IPs. I think it isn´t just my personal taste, if I assume that for example Baymax can´t be compared to Frozen at all. I doubt that it´s chances get better years after Kingdom hearts 3 was released, which gave some lesser known IPs (like hercules) some new spotlight in 2019, when cmf 2 came out. On the other they also took just core characters. Like DBlegonerd7 wrote some quite popular characters are now kicked out because they would not work alone like Lilo. Then there are characters that work bad as minifigures (like Ralph, but if Mr. Incredible was ok, than Lego won´t mind with Ralph, too.) and characters that simply can´t work. Imagine the donkey from Winnie Pooh as a minifigure not an animal mould. To be honest the picture I have, if I think of Pumba as a minifigure, is terrible at best... and with just one character per bag there can´t be a Timo accesory. I hope that, if the new Mickey Mouse sets sell well, we will see more Disney Minifigure sets delivering characters like Pluto.
  25. I doubt there will be a third one. What could they include? They released for example Hercules and Hades together. Meg and Phil in a third series won´t be very popular without those two. Sure, some easy ones like Pete, Belle and Beast are there, but I could not fill a series of just 12 even if I put really bad ideas into it like a ridicoulously oversized Mushu as a minifigure to come with Mulan and her Villain, Timo without Pumba or less popular stuff like Big hero six... I hope we will see more Disney sets like the one introducing Pluto. It´s not like that you need to be a genius to predict the success of for example a lion king set using the new lion moulds with a few new prints.
