  1. Teasing you... It seems you don't know the cartoon where an exotic kind of cheese stinks so very much that it explodes. Be more serieus, Your creation is great, I almost smell it
  2. Like in Asterix & Obelix on Corsica
  3. Hi, I wonder if there is a way to get the Servo's under control with this software? I did a try on it but excepr for far left or right the servo goes into some shaker mode in all other positions, even in zero. (there is that thing that I have in mind that gets me an ice cold beer from the fridge, opens it and brings it to me)
  4. At home.... Plugged 4 M motors in and it works out of the box... Great I feel a lot of fun coming. btw Servo works too with it. bbttww After loading all day still blinking led, loading really takes long.
  5. No it's not. I just received mine and first thing I plugged an USB cable that hangs around on my desk in it... It's charging... I however wonder how to connect these units, there's no manual with it and nowhere to find on the web either.
  6. Are you sure that this guy is an Lego employee? "we don't know" "my guess" "so who knows" "who knows what you may see"
  7. If you use Li-Ion batteries you will get an almost zero internal resistance = Ludracous current. Adding a fuse would be a good idea if Li-Ion is used. Don't believe me? Try to short a Li-Ion battery... WEAR SAFETY GLASSES.
  8. Ad long as LEGO produces products that will be bought for children... It's a melee between construction toys and tablets, TV and telephones. Yeah no wonder I've seen them coming here in the Netherlands They started a shop that looked big but actually their stock was in the shop itself so it looked only huge. They started with the wrong products, like Fischer Technic that was a long gone (great) construction toy (oh man, I bought theire whole stock for a bargain) This simply shows that they didn't do any marketing research for our country They were in a shopping centre here nearby, in between two other toyshops (one bought by the other and that other just went broke) Toy's 'r Us had some kind of idea that "they could do this" arrogancy at it's best. Back to LEGO They made lots of mistakes but they changed several times their marketing and products to stay in the running. Sometimes they hit the edges...but they survived. At this point Toys "R Us did not learn anything, they went on and on with products that nobody wanted and way to high prices. F.A. Their shop here had the Death Star for €502,95 on the shelf while it costs 499 minus 5% VIP points at LEGO.com Maybe they will run into problems again but they proved to learn from their mistakes so chances are good they will survive again.
  9. Spaghetti western we called it. I loved these movies, especially the Bud Spencer goes mad scenes were absolute great. Supported
  10. What do you actually expect from a 10 euro set? For this price it has to be designed, produced, make artwork, pack, print manuals, distribute.. This is no review, it's a shameless slaughter.
  11. When I look F.A. at the radio I see clearly an edge around the print, even a shadow of it... Same goes for the yellow license plate. It's not possible to say anything about the tile with the Mustang logo or the striping due to the angle of photography and/or colors. Lego stickers are horrible quality due to the lack of UV protection. Nevertheless... I like this car and will for sure add it to my collection. Edit:
  12. They just completely RUÏNED the Idea. No Pebbles, No BamBam, even no predator bird. The house looks now has a smooth front... despicable... The Stone Age Feeling is far far gone. Sign gone, mailbox screwed up.
  13. I would like to see the crank mechanism of this build. I know about the patent problems James had cause with it due to a complete ridiculous patent that was given away. (actually from that moment on everyone with a pedal sewing machine was a patent offender) I'd like to see if you managed to rebuild this. For those that want to see the mechanism, the original is in the science museum in London.
  14. Yeah but Lego started using serial RS232 when that was decades old. Man... I've been working with VT100 terminals and mainframes and that time this was allready dated.
  15. Hub in superstructure, motors in undercarriage, wiring throug turntable (and hopefully an EOS) Jurgen is allready licking fingers to mod it.
  16. Why is 6096 not in the list?
  17. Okay But would this be a reason NOT to buy this set? After all there will come other hardware, like in: Sbrick will get updates and if not there will be the Nextbrick. So you will always find a way to keep the thing going... There are 4 reasons to buy such a set and some can(or must) be combined. - Buy the set to sell it for double the price over 5 years - Buy it for the building experience - Buy it to play with it (you, your kids or grandkids) - Buy it to display it. In most cases you won't have any problems when the thing ages, kids grow up, etc etc
  18. However its VERY pity that TLG missed the chance to produce brick 3626 modified with open skull and visible brains.
  19. By the way, Quite cynic but these kind of machines will soon belong to our history. First the BWE, now the 9800. Both open air miners, coal mining.. A mining industry that is slowly coming to an end because of the gigantic impact on the environment.
  20. I allready have now I want this one..
