Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
ks6349 replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Among the poor City police sets in recent years, this is the only one I've ever considered getting it. Almost all other police sets are simply ignored. Set 60316 is a much better one. -

Lego 60316, new and sealed, someone offers it to me for $USD 45, worth getting it? I'm hesitating. -
I have never bought used Lego because I cannot see any advantage of buying them. Too many people, if not all, like to list their used Lego for very high price, sometimes even more expensive than new set I can find somewhere else. This is outrageous. And I do not like to bother bargaining with them. Buying new sets before they retire, and if they have retired, just don't buy. This is my strategy.

Really disappointed at the cement mixer truck 60325, they are now here selling for special price, approximately $13 but I am still not interested in it, for 85 pieces it is really not an attractive price unless sold under $10 I will start to consider getting it. Wish Lego will make more details for truck like that of the few years ago. -
Machine will certainly replace human. Although it will be a very long time, I believe that it will not be never. Scientists funded by authorities and the rich are working hard in this way.
-
Why does it have to place the bags evenly in the open box? As soon as the sealed box is turned around up and down all bags run randomly......... Putting the bags by human gives me a strong belief that there must be some bags missing every one among hundreds of sets.
-
This is not a good idea. You can expect there will be a lot of rats bringing their own portable weight and weigh every set before purchase or going away to do again in other shops. This is not joke. I saw a guy weighing each, yes EACH bag of those random Lego minifigure small bag and causing nuisance to the counter and other customers.
-
If you have watched the video you will see that before sealing the box they threw the instruction booklets with machine. If human is cheaper why don't they also hire one guy to throw the booklets? I cannot see any difference between throwing a bag of bricks and throwing some instruction booklets Will they accept my request if my set has retired for a few years and I have only opened it recently and found problems. I do not even have an invoice because it wasn't bought in official stores.
-
After watching the video on youtube about the manufacturing Lego bricks by TLG, I can see that most jobs are done automatically by modern machines, but the last step, before putting the instruction books, all bags are put into the box by human. Although it is very simple task, is there any reported case where missing one bag or having duplicate bag? Just wondering why this simple step is done by human. If they are worried about machine, I think every step should be worried, if they are not, there is nothing difficult to put a bag into the box by machine, why human? Just ask out of curiosity

Why some boxe are taped (i.e. opened by cutter usually) but some are glued (i.e.has to be broken open)? I really wonder why

finally got 60302 today after one year for $65, it's possibly the lowest price it can reach. -
I was surprised immediately the first glance I looked at this yellow box, Lego definitely won't, and shouldn't make it 1:1 but it's so great that they bring it back the feeling of the time of Lego system.... I'm unable to figure out what I can buy in Lego shop for $150 or more to get this free set. However, I'm waiting it to be sold in after-sales market and it is expected to sold for $40 or more, Lego marks its price $24.99 though.

£24.99 for 60345 in the UK while $44.99 which is about £36 for it in the US, why Lego has been pricing their products so strangely? This is only a truck with 300 pieces that I think $24.99 or $29.99 is the normal price. If you think there are a lot of special parts e.g. carrots but 60327 also has a big horse but it's only $29.99 -

Does anyone have the city Police patrol boat? i.e. 60277? Do you think it's a bit overpriced for a set with only 276 pieces? Now the best price I can find is $40 here, no shipping needed. Worth getting it? -

Hi all. What is the fair price for the parts of the small truck and helicopter (i.e. bag 3 and bag 4) new and sealed in bags together with the corresponding instruction booklets in Lego 60302? What's your opinion? -
Which Minecraft set would you recommend for a teen?

21170 looks good but how about the rabbit ranch i.e. 21181? Do you have it? Is it fun to play with? Because I don't see 21170 here but only 21181, sold for $28 here -

I almost always buy new City sets one year after they are released, it is usually the time when it reaches the lowest price, but two-year is too long that some sets cannot withstand and retire. btw, will you still get 60277 (Police Patrol Boat) for $40 now? I forgot to buy it but looks like $40 for only 270 pieces and I do not like the submarine items, what do you think? -

Hi all, does the size of the ferris wheel in the Creator set 31119 go well with other city buildings in proportion? I am thinking about getting 31119 but if it's too big or too small then I'll just skip it without any problem. -

After all, 60302 and 60307 are the best. -

Yes, the 4+ set (i.e. 60301) with only one lion is a bad choice ever, I have got the bigger sets (i.e. 60302 and 60307) and the smaller set (i.e. 60300) and simply skipped that 4+ set. I will not pay $30 for one lion. -

Do you think that 60236 and 60237 (those old straight and curved plates) are still useful for today's city sets? They have real deal here that I want to get a few copies but I think it's hard for them to go well with new city sets right? -

We have got the new train and the new train station here but the price isn't the best, I am still waiting for discount later, I am not so worried about city sets. They never sell well in my area
