I finally decide not to buy 60316, which is the new city police office. Yes, it's the best one released in recent years because it has base plates, I just simply ignore every city set without base plates and buy only trucks and vehicles in recent years. However, the details of the building is really bad after studying it carefully, not even comparable to those released in 80s or 90s, I think the reason is that they have put more details to the trucks, but I wish Lego would use more % of bricks on city police station in the future, on condition that they don't want to increase the cost, you have enough many other sets that feature only the vehicles, if the police station set with around 600 pieces came without the detailed garbage truck things will become much better. the print on the monkey face may fade over time. The old one is much more durable, I have one taken from set bought in 90s that still looks like new now but I am confident that after 20 years the print on the new monkey will probably fade a lot.

Nope. 60316 is the first police station released in recent years that I start to consider getting because it has base plates. I really hate these city buildings come without base plates. by the way, I really have to once again admire that the sizes of the box for medium to large sets him have improved a lot this year. Like 60316 and the new cement mixer, both of their box size are largely reduced. In the past, police station with 600+ pieces often came with a very big but thin box. That was really not so nice to store them. Thicker box is also better against shelf wear over time.

Hello. From the instructions provided on Lego.com I find that bag 3 and bag 4 contains the small truck and the helicopter respectively. I'd like to know, if ANY animal or any body part of them (e.g. monkey, elephant, crocodile or their body parts) appears in this set are put into these two bags? I'm buying this set primarily for the animals, and I'd like to resell the truck and helicopter as new in bag, I'd suppose there isn't, but if there is any animal or their body parts sealed in bag 3 or 4 then my buying and selling plan will be different. Thanks for comments.

What are the lowest possible prices for these sets to hit sooner or later by your guess or experience? Regardless of which country you are in or where you'll get it, I'm just taking it as a reference. Thanks 60327, 60328, 60329, 60330, 60324, 60307 I'm interested to get a lot of them for my Lego town so I have to be wise in price

60291 is a largely simplified version. It only has two floors and it's not really detailed, I am talking about probably using tens or hundreds times more bricks than that of the 60291 and there are a few rooms clearly built for each flat. It's a whole different scale than 60291

Can anyone tell me if the new police car (i.e. 60312) has any sticker? Is the "Police" on the door of the car printed brick or sticker?
