New trailer: So excited for this series, the car chase looks like it could've been a really cool set. Sadly we're stuck with 2 rather boring What If...? sets

As much as it pains me to say it a lot of people don't really care about most of the Fantastic Beasts characters. Seeing as LEGO has provided most of the notable characters already I doubt many people will be clamoring for more (although I certainly would).

With the theme seemingly not going anywhere in the near future and characters like Pomfrey (who was previously always seen as a character unlikely to appear outside of a CMF) appearing in normal sets it's important to look at the matter from LEGO's point of view. Why make another CMF series when you can save those characters/variants as sellingpoints for future sets? Marge Dursley and Padfoot for example could be used to get people to buy another (probably inevitable depending on how long the theme lasts) Knight Bus remake.

Yeah it's really quite annoying. I absolutely adore the Spidey games (the first game is my favorite game of all time alongside Horizon Zero Dawn) and Yuri Lowenthal's Peter is by far my favorite incarnation of the character ever brought to screen. I could easily come up with several waves of sets based on these games but all LEGO cares about doing is 2 SDCC figures 99.99% of us will never be able to get

Not really. I really want the Captain Marvel fig but I already have the Stark fig and I greatly dislike Thanos minifigs (they just don't do it for me). The build honestly looks really bad, even at this pricepoint it could've been far more accurate.

Sony just announced a new Wolverine game from Insomniac (the same studio that made Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales). Unlikely that we'll see any sets for this game but I'm hyped for it! Marvel's Spider-Man 2 announced as well, coming out in 2023. Pete and Miles are back and Venom is the villain (building off the teasers in the previous 2 games). Again not expecting any sets but it would be really cool to get some.

They're different. Wong's facial expression matches neither of Gilgamesh's and the facial hair is different too.

CMF prints can carry over into normal retail sets and vice versa.

The Durmstrang ship doesn't have a lot of specific characters/variants associated with it so alternatively I could see them including Cedric and Fleur there while putting Harry, Krum, Ron, Hermione and 2-3 Merpeople in a more affordable ~$50-60 Second Task set. Such an option would be far more preferable imo.

It's about time that hairpiece becomes more wildely available so that would be great.

Which is exactly why a Moments set based on his DatDA class would make perfect sense. It could give us a new variant of Lockhart that's easier to get (the only 2 variants of the character both come in expensive sets) while also offering fans and children alike a chance to get (more) Pixies.

We know it's a continuation of the 2021 Hogwarts sets, every single one of which looks terrible.

The Hospital Wing exterior will most likely just be a generic looking part of the castle with a clock awkwardly slapped on the front and an overall shape that only vaguely resembles it's on-screen counterpart.
