  1. I was sold on this movie long before the first trailer even came out but this looks dope, way more excited for this than I've ever been for No Way Home. Definitely picking up all 4 sest asap!
  2. It's actually gun metal grey, not dark grey. LEGO doesn't really have a perfect color for her outfit so both dark blue and gun metal work, which one is better is up to personal preference but both are accurate.
  3. The new episode of What If...? was amazing and had some great set opportunities. Here are 2 ideas:
  4. Don't live in the UK but I went to the LEGO store in Utrecht on August 4th and they didn't have the Shang-Chi and Hydra Stomper sets in stock there either despite the fact they should've gotten them in a while back according to the employee I spoke to. I guess there may be a problem with the supply of those sets in Europe?
  5. "Only the best is good enough" is just a marketing ploy at this point, LEGO has been slipping up on quality control for years and it's only been getting worse (spelling on stickers/prints, poor printing on figures, etc). It's sad but true.
  6. Where did you hear that? I don't recall seeing it on the EOL lists.
  7. It's honestly laughable how they didn't include the handful of extra pieces needed to construct all 4 "scarfs" concurrently.
  8. An image of Moon Knights MCU costume has seemingly leaked. It would be a damn shame if we don't get at least 1 set for the show.
  9. It would probably also be smart to put out less movies. Let's go back to 3 movies a year, especially with Disney+ consistently pumping out content 4 movies feels exciting but a little bit unnecessary. And in an effort to somewhat shift the topic back to LEGO: one less movie a year could also free up space for some much needed D+ sets.
  10. This. Sources keep going on about Sony not wanting to release Spider-Man: No Way Home because it won't earn nearly as much money as it would've done pre-pandemic but delaying the film isn't going to do much unless they delay it by a couple of years
  11. According to Deadline Sony is considering delaying Venom: Let There Be Carnage to October 15th or January 2022. If they end up delaying it NWH will definitely follow suit.
  12. There's a ton of things that could still be made but Gringotts is definitely the one we need most imo, as awesome as the Diagon Alley set is it just feels incomplete without it's most iconic building. I'd personally want the figures to be a mixture of the later movies like Harry, Ron (disguise), Hermione (Bellatrix disguise and don't cheap out on the skirtprinting this time) and several goblins for Deathly Hallows and Draco and Narcissa Malfoy from Half Blood Prince. I'd hate to miss out on some other must-have figures like wedding Fleur, Kreacher, OotP Sirius, Madam Pomfrey or OotP Tonks though.
  13. Why not? I reckon it would work incredibly well.
  14. I'm not sure pissing off consumers like that when they're already a bit annoyed it's taken so long is a smart decision from a business pov I'd be surprised if the design team ends up making a decision that stupid (though anything is possible I guess, looking at what we got this year).
  15. What If...? episode 1 makes the terrible design of LEGO's Hydra Stomper even more disappointing Would've been such a cool set if the build hadn't sucked.
  16. None of the Bricktober figures were re-released though, we just got different variants in other sets. So Umbridge, Hooch and Sluggy appearing in other sets doesn't really mean that much.
  17. I'd take it over the Icons D2C any day of the week but it's still a pretty boring concept imo. Taking in mind the fact that such a Quidditch Pitch would have a massive footprint makes it an easy pass if it were to happen as there's no way I could ever find a place to put it.
  18. But if LEGO sees those sets are selling well they'll double down on them. Eventually we might end up seeing very desirable figures being exclusively placed in very expensive 4+ sets.
  19. Might just be me but I would personally really dislike getting elaborate molds like the ones pictured above. They may be more accurate but they clash way too much with LEGO's relatively simple and stylised way of representing things. More detailed isn't always better.
  20. Not sure why none of the designers noticed this during the desing process but the word "Titillandus" on the acceptance letter's Hogwarts emblem is misspelled as "Titillandos".
  21. A picture of the CMF box has been found. It may be an amazing series but damn that box looks bad
  22. This is going to be very fanfiction-like but I've been hoping for another 2-season story: Season 1, Legacy themed - the Vengestone buyer turns out to be a front for a secret alliance consisting of past Ninjago villains, their goal: stripping the ninja of their powers and taking over Ninjago. Season 2, feudal Japan themed - the alliance succeeded and the ninja are now stranded in the past thanks to the Time Twins. As they look for a way to regain their powers and go back to the present they face off against a group of mysterious ronin (rogue samurai). My trackrecord for guessing future Ninjago storylines is less than impressive though so none of this is likely to happen at all
  23. What are those things in the house colors supposed to represent? Scarfs? If so... yikes.
  24. Got my hands on the Black Widow SDCC set thanks to a friend. I think it's a great set and it honestly does a way better job representing the movie than the helicopter set. Red Guardian is a bloody fantastic figure with the right mods (personally gave him Sinjin's face from Jurassic World and the CMF Monkey King legs with some of the printing removed) and snow suit Nat is just great. Still really bummed these figures aren't available for everyone to buy though.
