  1. The new trailer is amazing!
  2. Completely fine of course but I'd be very interested in hearing what you love about it.
  3. Same. Mostly just looking forward to new figures, creatures, prints, stickers etc as the 2021 builds were all (with Hogsmeade being the only exception) really disappointing and lackluster.
  4. Dear god that new Flash costume looks awful He looks like he ran through someone's backyard during Christmas and is now all tangled up in Christmas lights
  5. Considering Gringotts is supposed to go next to the rest of Diagon Alley an underground section wouldn't hold much value so for me the perfect Gringotts would be a ~$250 set based on the later films with the Ironbelly perched on top of the roof like in Universal Studios.
  6. There are far worse examples of book-ignorance in the movies. Half Blood Prince for example was a decent movie but an abysmal adaptation, which really sucks considering it was hands down the best of the books.
  7. Camp Cretaceous season 4 is coming December 3rd.
  8. Marvel just announced we're getting 2 episodes of Hawkeye on November 24th (which was definitely done because the finale was originally going to come out on the same day as the Book of Boba Fett premier ).
  9. At least shipping is very inexpensive compared to what we're used to, that makes placing several small orders a lot easier to swallow.
  10. They meant this thread. On January 1st it'll be retired and everyone will move on to the newly made Marvel 2022 thread.
  11. As usual with new movie sets they'll be based on concept art so naturally there are going to be several sets that aren't based on anything we see in the final film but I wouldn't expect any dinosaurs from completely different properties (like CC's Scorpios) to appear in any of them. If we get any dinosaurs that don't appear in Dominion they'll be dinosaurs that were supposed to appear in the movie at some point during production, similar to how we got a Dilophosaurus in the Fallen Kingdom sets despite it's 2 scenes being cut from the movie.
  12. The warg molds have been gone for ages and even if they weren't LEGO wouldn't be able to use them for DC due to licensing.
  13. Build the Toro set yesterday, definitely one of the best sets we've gotten in the last few years. Owen is a boring repeat but Kenji and Sammy are pretty well made aside from the legs, Toro simply looks incredible. The CC truck looks great despite some of the color inaccuracies and was overall just fun to build. I was also pleasantly surprised with the helicopter as it was fun to build and actually looks fantastic for what it is, which says a lot considering I rarely like vehicle sidebuilds. Now I just have to wait for the BL prices for the other campers to go down to a reasonable level as I'm not interested in the other sets.
  14. Looks like Star Wars is getting adult-oriented display pieces next year (the Death Star trash compactor and Luke's training on Dagobah). It would be incredible if we could get something similar instead of the near constant oversized vehicles and mechs.
  15. Just build the 4 Eternals sets and this is easily my favorite MCU wave yet, just great stuff all around! The Deviants are fantastic and the figures are great (especially if you swap out some of the heads and hairpieces). Arishem isn't the sturdiest but he looks fantastic on display. On the negative side of things: also built the Sanctum set and it honestly sucks. It has a really odd footprint, isn't enjoyable to build and just overall feels like a soulless product. I'm glad it's at least a good partspack so I didn't completely waste my money. Figs are great.
  16. Aside from the hair it's pretty accurate to what we've seen from Riddler's actual costume in the movie.
  17. These were planned to release much earlier in 2021 so what does the 10th anniversary of the theme have to do with anything? Fingers crossed it stays that way.
  18. I've seen some people call it that as well. It very vaguely resembles the Arkham Knight Batmobile but to say it's that specific vehicle is a huge stretch.
  19. November 1st in North America and January 1st for the rest of the world.
  20. Honestly now that the initial excitement has worn off I'm starting to like the Batmobile and Batcave less. The Batmobile looks great and has a ton of detail packed in but it's just so terribly oversized to the point that it makes the model worse, really should've just been a 6 stud wide vehicle instead of 8. Besides that the Batcave honestly feels rather empty as there's not a whole lot going on and the staircase looks quite unfinished. The wave is definitely better than what we usual get but that isn't saying much considering LEGO DC's standards
  21. And here I was thinking LEGO couldn't possibly come up with something worse than the existing studshooter
  22. The biggest Jurassic World wave yet, potentially some Harry Potter sets (if they aren't as bad as they were this year) and Marvel is getting a lot of content that probably will get numerous sets based on it.
  23. Nope, it's the Tom Riddle head.
  24. They are, S@H lists them as such.
