  1. A behind the scenes trailer for Dominion was shown at CinemaCon and we now have a rough description of what was shown. One of the described scenes sounds a lot like something we could theoretically be getting as a LEGO set next year:
  2. Jurassic World: Dominion is the end of the current story but it won't be the last installment of the Jurassic franchise. Instead it will mark the start of a new era in which dinosaurs and humans need to learn to coexist, as stated by producer Frank Marshall. And just some advice for the future: when you're talking about a specific article it's very useful for others if you'd provide a link, otherwise we have no idea what you're referring to.
  3. I'd welcome a new Hogwarts Express + Hogsmeade Station set with open arms but I'd prefer if it weren't motorized as I (and I imagine a lot of other people) simply don't have the room for the motorization to be of any use and those motors are ridiculously expensive. A new HE should definitely be designed in a way that allows for easy motorization but if they put it in by default the set will be an instant skip for me.
  4. Wanda - different head Monica - maybe printed legs, not sure yet Sylvie - different head and printed legs T'Challa - Catwoman arms
  5. Love that AoU Cap! Definitely need to get some extra Peggy's Thanks for sharing.
  6. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been delayed again, this time to spring 2022. Only good news is that there's a new trailer:
  7. Doubt we'll get sets based on this but Marvel anounced a Midnight Sons game at Gamescom: Definitely second this. The issue has been adressed time and time again but some people just keep bringing up this kind of info. It's inconsiderate and annoying.
  8. The most interesting detail from this report is that the $40 Tumbler is said to be based on the films, which is nice to know considering it might as well have been a comic set.
  9. Apparently LEGO will be selling boxes with 6 CMF packs as well. What a waste of cardboard....
  10. That's incredibly common in the US, a lot of stores there just don't give a hoot about streetdates.
  11. Lizard is huge but rather skinny so a brickbuilt figure like Kro would definitely be the most accurate. A minifigure would be too small and a bigfig too buff.
  12. TT Games' upcoming games have been fairly easy to somewhat accurately predict in the last few years so seeing as no one besides a couple of reposters have reported on this rumor and as far as I know there's no credible source to back it up this is most like mere speculation passed off as a rumor.
  13. Fair enough. As excited as I am for Molina and Dafoe's return I hope you're right.
  14. Molina and Dafoe are fantastic as the characters and I love them dearly but I can't help but think what we could've gotten if we got (just taking some popular fancasts here) Mark Hamill as Ock and Jason Isaacs as Osborn.
  15. It's a cool trailer and I'm definitely very excited for that possible spoiler wave. That said I'm still not sure what to think of this film, I would've taken Peter Parker on the run over Spider-Verse Lite any day. It's nice to see old characters return but at the same time it also kinda annoys me as I would much rather see the MCU doing their own versions of these villains.
  16. It's not particularly amazing or anything but it does it's job and has some neat new printed parts to offer.
  17. I guess it's nice to see that Griphook now has an alternate face but why even bother when it's almost exactly the same as the standard one? LEGO never fails to surprise me with odd decisions.
  18. Eternals releases November 5th and the sets come out in October (presumably October 1st) so it's not unprecedented.
  19. Some better quality pictures of the Eternals sets: https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-marvel-eternal-sets-officially-revealed/
  20. Nice! Still a terribly designed set but I'll definitely pick up Peggy and Steve.
  21. That would be an interesting thing to know for sure. I can only speak for myself ofc but for me 2021 is the year that violently kicked this theme off the pedestal it's been sitting on for the past 3 years. I've been trying my best to look at the future of this theme with an optimistic mindset but if this year is representative of what we'll get in the years to come I would've preferred it if they had just given us a Deathly Hallows wave and pulled the plug then and there.
  22. Bit of a random thought but with Toro having asymmetrical printing the new Dominion versions of Rexy and Blue (let's face it, we all know we're gonna get them again) should really have their scars and asymmetrical striping respectively. I'm by no means counting on it but there's really no excuse not to do it now that LEGO has proven that they can.
  23. lego_club_news I think.
  24. It wouldn't surprise me if the head and hair are reused for an interrogation Joker figure in the $40 set.
