  1. Mmmmm. Interesting. The jet build is nice, looks detailed enough and if the set is the same price as the Royal Talon Fighter, it'd be fair. The figures aren't bad, but pretty bare. Talos is incomplete, but he's had time to grow on me, and probably will be better in hand. Nick Fury at least looks the part. Chewie (I'm never calling him Goose. NEVER) looks right, and is neat to have. Captain Marvel's torso design is pretty spot-on, and the hair/head combo works, but those legs. Those legs. They could've at least added a sash print. She doesn't look nearly as incomplete as Talos, that I will say. Overall, a good, maybe desirable set, held back by a few unprinted legs. I hope that this means that the A4 sets stole some budget from this set, but that might be wishful thinking. I'll hold back on this one.
  2. Might be too late, but this part could be good as well. Comes with the spider-lady from LEGO minifigures series 14.
  3. Why does Ellie have to be in there? I think I'm going to cry...
  4. For me at least, LEGO Marvel is a theme begging for expansion. So many different characters and locations could be represented, but never will. So for my wishlist, I wanted to go with more realistic options that could become reality, so most of these will be regular Marvel set options with "guest stars". For a hypothetical comic Spider-Man wave: - Electro Heist- 4+. Comes with escape car, Electro (classic), Mr Negative and Spider-Man ('62). $20NZ. - Spider-Man/Blade vs Morbius- Comes with small graveyard, Morbius, Spider-Man ('62) and Blade. $25NZ - Kingpin's Escape- Comes with getaway vehicle, sidewalk build, Kingpin (minifig with bald cap), Spider-Man (either Superior or Ps4) and Daredevil. $50NZ. - Ryker's Breakout- Comes with Ryker's Island prison facade, J.J. Jameson billboard, Lizard bigfig, Shocker (classic), Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Man ('62). $100NZ. For a hypothetical comic Avengers wave: - Serpent Persuit- Contains small Quinjet (comic based), Iron Man (Black/Gold), Rogue and King Cobra. $50NZ - Galactus Takedown- Contains Fantasticar, Galactus maxifig, Silver Surfer, Thor (classic), Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman. $60NZ. - Attack on Avengers Mansion- Contains Avengers Mansion facade, Helicopter, Baron Zemo, Black Knight, Iron Man (Black/Gold) Wasp (classic), The Thing (bigfig) and Human Torch. $100NZ. For hypothetical standalone sets: - X-Mansion Assault: Includes X-Mansion facade, Mister Sinister, Wolverine (X-Force), Nightcrawler, Jean Grey and Beast. $100NZ. - C.I.T.T. attack: Includes C.I.T.T. ship, Super Skrull, Warlock, Nova, Cosmo, Star Lord (comic) and Howard the Duck. $80NZ. Some of these are a bit obscure, but they'd be reasonable set options. I thought about putting Klaw, Professor X, Spider-Ham, Dr Doom and Darkhawk in here somewhere, but I wanted to limit myself.
  5. Ok, I'm intrigued by this Dragon. Looks a bit cluttered, but impressive either way! I can see myself picking this up with the spinners and Golden Dragon. Also, the Ultra Dragon does come with Pythor! Guess I can skip the Storm Fighter. And I likey.
  6. Thought the August/September slot was the regular series.
  7. I'm calling it now. Reveal before December. We still have 3 days.
  8. Let me take a gander. K equals Kenobi (maybe), and R equals... Rango fett? Could it be on Kamino? I have no idea what this could be.
  9. So apparently Michael Bay is a set designer now.
  10. The rest of the sky police sets have been leaked. I've not got much to say about them, except that they are strange (and the parachutes are huge).
  11. So $30 would be about the size of the Royal Talon fighter and Hulkbuster smash-up... Could we expect 4 figs from this one?
  12. We knew there was another set. We just thought it was the Knight Bus.
  13. Disney series 2 is due mid year, so sadly, no Stan the man. The rest should be right though.
  14. On the contrary, I think this is a good thing, as a smaller wave would mean that LEGO did not anticipate the first wave's success, and they'll invest more in a third wave!
  15. I wouldn't just be happy. I'd be ecstatic!
  16. And let the speculation commence.
  17. Where did those go? They appeared in only 2 sets, and then vanished. We need them back!
  18. We don't know anything about the story yet, but these sets are being released for a milestone celebration; Ninjago is close to 100 episodes!
  19. Not all of the sets have been leaked. We haven't seen the Sky Police sets beyond poorly photographed prelims, and there could easily be more City Fire ones.
  20. Houseboats are real things. The one in the set is actually pretty restrained considering.
  21. Or maybe just "Justice League" and "A4". They will find a brand to put a logo on for. I actually don't mind this shift that much. As long as the Marvel/DC logos stay at the bottom of the box, the Batman and (theoretical) Superman sets can still be considered part of the same theme, and the Spider-Man and Captain Marvel sets their own. Just means each wave gets new boxart. This Batsub actually looks decent, but I'm not sure if I can find room for it. Same goes for the Batmech. I have a rather small budget. They might not be part of the set. I've seen them provide stands for minifigures in promotional Star Wars images that never come out. But one can hope.
  22. I think that 4+ TIE Fighter is decent. Overpriced it may be, it has some neat figs and looks more complete than the X-wing. Its probably because I really like the idea of a smaller (but not chibi) TIE, as I can't bring myself to spend $110NZ for a ship that exists to be blown up en masse. Might pick one up, and maybe a few if I find a more reasonable price.
  23. And then Glenny purple, Fenny teal, Wenny white, and Nebby beige/yellow with a blue head.
  24. Oh. Whoops. Sorry, ninjagoyax555.
