  1. We are not sure if the Disney D2C will be a haunted house (we are just speculating at this point) but we are sure that it is a DISNEY D2C. Harry Potter is Warner Brothers property. They don't own everything yet.
  2. I'm not buying this rumour. 9 polybags is excessive. Wouldn't be surprised if that is actually the total number of sets and there are only 4 polybags.
  3. Ok, now this looks amazing. The shape is achieved very well, and the colour scheme is still awesome. There could be more minifigures, but the ones there are nice variants and the baby dino's and microfigs do help. I would've loved it to be minifig scale too, but with the size of the ship in the movie, its a fair compromise. Might pick this up if my wallet allows me to.
  4. For minifigures, I went for Tin Man, but I like all of the Wizard of Oz figs equally. Beyond them, I like President Business, Giraffe Guy, Swamp Creature and Apocalypse Abe. For accessories, I went with Golfin' President Business for the golf club, but Rex (with the baby Raptor and cowboy hat) came pretty close for me.
  5. Both faces for the new Kylo Ren have leaked. One side is a regular angry face, and the other is a disappointed one, with a fresh scar.
  6. I think that both licensed themes and original themes both have equal opportunity to be great. But for me, original themes have a bit more of an upward battle to fight. I am a fan of pop culture first and a fan of LEGO second, so the original themes I tend to collect are the ones that have longevity and/or have left an impact, like the Space/Pirate/Wild West themes, Bionicle, Ninjago and Minifigures.
  7. Having both styles of helmet, the older one is not much better at turning. It looks like it is, but you can only turn it so far before it slides off the head. At least the new one doesn't pretend.
  8. On this thread, I've also heard about how the movie might be too "meta". The first movie already had a lot of references, but some guys on here think that the "it's suicide" and "sparkly vampire" gags are a bit too recent or too deep-cut. Speaking of sparkly vampires, I have to agree! Balthazar's hair could look great on my purist Iceman figure.
  9. That's not what I was saying. I was just pointing out that Flash admires Spidey a fair bit in that trailer. In the comics, that was the case, so to emulate him, he joined the army and even became Venom for a bit. Remember, technically Spider-Man is a vigilante.
  10. First thought: Spidey's a celeb now? Second thought: That's a very Nick Fury thing to do. Third thought: Whoah! Fourth thought: YES! Fishbowl! Fifth thought: If Flash becomes a vigilante by the end of this trilogy, I will not be surprised.
  11. Quantum Realm Ant-Man leaked. Same helmet. Again.
  12. I'm not sure about this. I doubt it's all wishful thinking, as it just about lines up with everything we've seen/heard so far from both the movie and the sets, but the bigfig Outrider, Quantum Realm beast and Happy Hogan details sound a bit far fetched.
  13. Great to have dates! Currently, I'm most interested in the Hydro-Man set, but hopefully Stark's plane is worthwhile too. Just kinda strange to know the FFH set's release date before Endgame's.
  14. Oh. But would the real figure would look something like that?
  15. Couldn't have said it better. Also, full Chitauri figure leaked. Aside from the head, it's basically a remade version of the old fig. And it still has leg printing. Thank Eternity.
  16. So many wonderful angles! Love the face! Love the thin windshields around the cockpit! Love the mudguards and wheel rims!
  17. Mmmm. Iron Man is accurate enough, but with the change in proportions, it doesn't look quite right. The colours just clash too much. This one is probably on the filmmakers.
  18. This fig is sweeeeet! I can even look past the pale face print because of that helmet! I never knew I needed it! Any more figs on the way?
  19. If I walked into a room, and this was sitting on the table, I'd think this was the real deal! The head especially is wonderfully textured, and that beak is almost surreal.
  20. Oh my God he's adorable!
  21. Thats what it's definitely meant to be, and could well be a teaser. A Shrieking Shack may come in the future, but it's all speculation currently.
  22. It was actually BrickBrosUK. I'm just as surprised as you are.
  23. Any idea when the Spider-Man sets turn up in NZ? I haven't found any 2019 sets in retail yet.
  24. I was a bit nervous as well, with how difficult the Unikitty bags were to identify, but then I remembered that there were literally only 3 different body types that were indistinguishable aside from prints, so it should be easier for this series.
