  1. @Cactus4579 is it front axle? I wonder how it supposed to turn when shock are mounted like this.
  2. Maybe, but I bought CAT D11 for about 325 Euro, new, from the shop. More parts, half of the money. So we will see how hard TLG wants to cheat us with this one.
  3. Same in my case... But why they can align small old panels and they cannot new ones?
  4. I'm curious about stability of such axle. Connecting points are very close to each other and it doesn't look good. Shocks will give some stability, but I'm not sure it will be enough. But, at the end, it is not RC model, so I think it will be enough for staying on the shelf.
  5. I think it is not a problem to be able to pay for it. It is a matter of respecting the money. So far I am not able to imagine factors which will justify such price. I can buy it, no problem, but I most probably won't because it will be most probably a rip off as hell. Having money doesn't mean I supposed to mindlessly throwing it left and right.
  6. First, I know I do not have chances :D Second, even if they somehow respond to me, they will bring conditions which I will check and decide if I go for it or not. In case of monetizing MOC, my UAZ was already stolen by filthy thieves hiding in china, so...
  7. You are probably 100% right but I decided to apply. Becuase why not? It cost me a minute of my time :) Thanks @Jim for the link!
  8. I probably shouldn't even answer in this topic, but hey, in worst case scenario I will receive confirmation how small I am :D I humbly propose my UAZ 3151, which was also described here on the forum.
  9. We can complain here and prove, that such price is a BS, but some "excel guy" decided, that this set will have such price, probably based on some inside data. Pity that we will never know how well this set really did on the market and how much income brought to TLG.
  10. So new Liebherr 42146 (2,9k parts, 2 hubs, 6 motors and 700€) versus old Liebherr 42100 (4,1k parts, 2 hubs, 7 motors and 400€) -> it loses in every category, big LOL, it is all I can say. I would like to, but it won't gonna happen. If I'm not mistaken, lego resigned from metal parts long time ago and last metal pasr was Hook (70496)
  11. I hope, that this is not only official approach, but also unofficial one. I will not judge here lego reviewers, but I can give example of other branch: movies: If reviewer will not be positive enough, then exclusive invitations for prepremiere shows say bye bye.
  12. I also noticed it in my 42155, but it works and now when build is complete problem is no longer visible, so I don't bother.
  13. You may be right. I have never spent more than 330 € on one set and I'm not going to, so it is like half of the price TLG will want for this set. And at the end, I'm just seeing this set as a part pack, so I hope it will have some nice parts which I will be able to pick up separately from lego store or bricklink.
  14. To be honest I am super curious what is the reason of such high price. The only reasonable is the presence of electronics, but even then, what electronic it would be...42100 had a ton of electronics, ton of parts and still, price around what, 400 € ?
  15. God damn you are good in those alternative models :D I also plan to do something with this set, but it will be very serious modification and motorization instead of B/C/D modeling.
  16. The price for this is monstrous and I still treating this as only potential part pack. But analyzing all those information we have already, from part pack POV I can say we have chance for at least one or two new parts and some recolors (new 19 stud frame in yellow).
  17. Yea, new panels are fine, but much better are connectors or element for movement transferring.
  18. Thank you. I haven't test it on slopes, since the main goal was to be able to withstand mud, sand and quite deep water.
  19. After second thought I think it is not that useful...but we'll see. I still don't think this part will allow me to prepare narrow independent suspension, but I hope I will find good use for them.
  20. 2:18 it looks like 5 stud axle with endings like part 32494. It looks useful, very useful.
  21. I thought for a moment that mouldking thieves designed something by their own, stupid me...
  22. Great trucks, great shots, I simply love it. I'm still gathering experience building smaller models, but I think this is my ultimate goal to build capable trial truck in this scale which will be able to compete in such championships. BTW where can I find more info about this red truck with hubs made from big turntables (visible for example on last video at 0:53)? I wish to take a closer look at this solution.
  23. It depends on what group of people you consider as "us". But in some sense you may be right. Because as far as I know, in case of numbers of people in particular groups, I think it looks like this: people who collect Lego sets, build them and putting on shelf >> people, who buy sets to use it in their MOCs So based on this, I would say you are in the first group which is larger that second group. For me I don't know if I will buy it, it strongly depends on what parts it will contain, because I'm pretty sure I do not need next crane on my shelf. I have one on my shelf - my beloved set from childhood - 8460 - and it is all I need from this category :)
  24. @Jundis if you mention Sariel, you should also be aware about number of tools he provides for AFOLs, one of them is MOC Manager - http://mocs.sariel.pl/ I think this tool can help you out with organizing many MOCs. In my case, I have already 3 MOCs planned in my head and 4th is emerging, so yea... Many plans but so little time. But for me I try to finish current MOC before I fully get involved the next one. Finishing the MOC for me is the moment I publish it.
  25. The model is beautifully designed both from inside and outside but what I want to mention is choose of colours. If I remember correctly is not the first time you choose such mix and I have to say, it has something in it. Four different colours, highly contrasting yet not overly bright - they create great look and I love it.
