I'm not too big of a fan of this wave, the party set is great obviously but I'm not too sure on the others. The Sparkle Babies set feels rather weak to me as whilst I get wanting to put the babies in another set as they were so popular but the rest feels like filler, there's another inaccurate Lucy, another Emmet, another Star and the build feels very much like a throw-in and I swear the Sewer babies were just in their normal costumes at the end of the film, not in the varients in the set . If they wanted to make the babies more widely available maybe they should have made it an Apocalypseburg set with Emmet, the Sewer babies, one of the notable missing characters (Larry Poppins, Gandalf, Alfred) and a build of part of the batcave. As for the final set I feel that of the main characters ships they went with the least interesting one as with the other ones they were all fun combinations of contrasting styles that sold the theme of team work whereas with the one they went for, the whole Wyldstyle Colour scheme really complements the Systar style and this sorta just looks like any old Systar spaceship. (Plus it probably has the least screen time of the lot of them) It's not a BAD wave of sets for what they are the execution is superb but I just feel like it's a missed opportunity. (Specifically it's a missed opportunity to make Benny's Spaceship from the end of the film, that set would single-handedly end world hunger, bring about world peace and end poverty)

On the plus side this may give us sets for the Illumination Mario Movie

I definitely looking forward to this one, it feels the most LEGOy of the shows we've gotten

I KNOW! It's especially weird given how the set he's from included another pilot with the same face, you'd think they'd at least use the non-smiling face from 2014 -

Well the new helmet costs more but gives less detail, is generally less crowdpleasing, is less in scale with Minifigs and is more difficult to build around, it's wonder they even introduced it! (Then again knowing LEGO they probably just did it so they could make a set with Biggs without breaking their ancient Vow to give every Rebel pilot the exact same face) -

From last years Blue leader and this years Luke I think it's safe to say the reason LEGO's ditched the unique santa figures is for just normal exclusive characters -
From what I've seen the appeal is Semi-ironic and Semi-serious as the ironic side is attaching all this love and admiration to a minor character and people thus want the figure in the same vein as something like that Bonzai Buddy plush and the other side is that the game he's from was big when it came out, if you were ten when the game first came out you'd be 23 now and as one of the first characters unlocked in the game he is seriously nostalgic and they'd like a physical representation of him. I could very well see him in say a new Rebel fleet trooper battle pack as it seems LEGO's now allergic to giving 4 of the same figure in battle packs along with 2 normal fleet troopers and a Captain (akin to Captain Antilles) Or if the rumours of the new LEGO star wars game being an updated version of the complete Saga I could see him being the pre order figure

This is a very good list, if these were the only LEGO Star Wars figures we got from here on out I'd be alright

The promo should of just been a Rebel friend figure -
Cole's the only figure who crosses locations in the set's, wonder if there's a reason for it or it's just coincidence

With the original appearing in both the Snowspeeder and juniors set, does anyone know if the 2018 Rebel pilot helmet has been abandoned? -
Not a big fan of this wave, as said earlier all the sets in the wave apart from Lloyd's Mech and Cole's bike feel really underwhelming. Something I find weird though is Cole doesn't get a stand alone Spinjitzu set or have his incorporated in another set whereas Kai, Jay Etc have both

Some torsos leaked one of which looks a lot like TLNM civilian torsos, it's definitely a stretch but maybe it's from a third Ninjago city?

Nick showed off a bit of the Ninjago short that'll be in the KCA on their Facebook, the animation feels very TLNM and I love it.
