  1. Neat little speeder bike. Good work.
  2. Thanks! There honestly was a question of whether we would claim the title Mandalore. Didn't wanna do that coz we're already disturbing canon too much. I felt "Duchess" was a classy compromise.
  3. He enjoys vacation. And cocktails. If he ever makes it to Cantonica, he'll retire happy. Finally write that holojournal he always meant to...
  4. This is absolutely The Way.
  5. Let it be known that, with our conquest of Mandalore, our leader NPC has been raised to the rank of Duchess. If you've got a problem with that, feel free to discuss it with her and our overwhelming ip majority on Mandalore.
  6. *Your entry has earned 3 XP* Ordo? We had some times there, sure. That was where we held the declaration. Right after we conquered Mandalore, Val Eldar gathered everyone she could in the desert. Declared Mandalore independent and free again. Claimed sovereignty for Clan Eldar, by right of conquest, by right of citizenship and by right of seniority and by a dozen other rights that I can't remember or won't ever understand because I wasn't born with a beskar spoon in my mouth. What's more, she claimed for herself the title of Duchess. I hear that some of our people wanted her named Mandalore, but apparently that requires more political cunning, military might, and sheer arrogance than Val could reasonably muster. So there we were, a Duchess and her people, with an old home and a new hope.
  7. Yep, if you use 1x6 tiles, you can space them evenly, or jump them half a stud one way or another. I have done it a couple of times along the length of this jetty, but you can't really see it too well from this angle. - One of the secrets of this game; if you're gonna include a good building trick, it helps if you get a photo of it. Everyone's running around with Beskar these days. And it's a more popular housewarming present than Darth Vader busts...
  8. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* After all the mess of Mandalore, it was good to cool my feet with a nice tsiraki on Ordo. It's not the best world, but even on a sandball there are a few oases. So you might understand why I was a bit upset when my official duties found me there. An unaffiliated mando had turned up, with some winged folk in tow. Wanted to discuss a possible joint venture. And it quickly transpired that there was no way Clan Eldar would forgive me if I turned her down.
  9. Bwahahahahaaa! Ryan, we don't need to know!
  10. I know what you mean. I don't like the eyes, but the chibi style is kinda cute. Happy you approve of this guy. Agreed! I'd love to see BrickHeadz versions of other alien races. Glad you like it.
  11. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Y'know; Clan Eldar wasn't the first time I had worked with a warrior culture. Naboo's Gungans are famous for not backing down from a fight. The trouble there is what happens when they're outnumbered and outgunned. Still they won't back down. Any culture that is that willing to rush headfirst into a fight is liable to end up a bloody smear under the boarding ramp of the first alliance that comes their way. So, when I started working for the Mandos, I made sure I steered them away from anyone they couldn't beat in a straight fight. That's not the kind of legacy any diplomat needs.
  12. Maybe not shrugging. They know what happened to Alderaan. Anyone using that tech would definitely get people scared. Warrants a slot on the evening news, even if it's only coming from a whistle-blower. Buuuut, you're also right that this is a long way from the Republic's area of influence. They're not gonna intervene like they might've on Naboo.
  13. @dvogon Thanks. You're absolutely right. Its the Silent Mary sail.
  14. Standards for reporting on an atrocity are lower than for committing the entire galaxy to politically intervene in an invasion.
  15. Fair. If only the Triumvirate had retained the services of their best diplomat! Maybe then they wouldn't be expanding their colonial conquests with WMDs.
  16. Think it comes from the old Prince of Persia line.
  17. I love all the humour in this build. Don't know if you intended it that way, but violence rendered in Lego stop motion always looks hilarious. Recommend you choreograph even more elaborate action sequences next time.
  18. Just realised that that's a Hutt hologram. Brilliant!
  19. The first build with the laser and the spear is giving me real Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes...
  20. Just out of interest, what head did you use with the Monkey King hair? I've used it as well in a figbarf. Curious to see of you went the same way.
  21. I've just looked at this again. That Harry Potter Uniform in the window is really distracting! Everything else is perfect.
  22. @Darth Bjorn Thanks. Bionicle has some gnarly bone elements that were begging to be used. I'll try and make more of these in future.
  23. Really loved the cap being knocked off. A nice little touch.
  24. I'm afraid they are really cartoonish. Kinda undercuts the sheer detail you've included elsewhere in this build.
  25. I know what you mean. That part was such a faff. Decided to just roll with it, though. Don't they just? Thanks. I wasn't too happy with the colours. It comes from the Togrutan's collection, and it would've been nice to have it in a classier colour. Sadly, I only had the right parts in dark tan. Thanks. Glad everyone likes that aspect. I reckon they make for a pretty menacing ensemble.
