The snake's tongue is clamped between torso and hips. It's relatively strong and absolute purist. -

Thank you! Thank you very much- I thought it would be amusing to keep my sig fig from the SW roll play. Requirement was to find a appropriate rat tail. Hope it works well enough. -

Jacob Nion replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
I humbly thank you! Who can yet know what the bards will sing about Osric the rat? Ooc: Though I have really no plan of the situation in Kaliphlin please tell me what side has the most advantage for Nocturnus. And in general, can I join challenge IV even when I entered today? -
Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Jacob Nion replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Although I still have much to read about the history of Historica, I can wait no further to join. Here I am, Osric Isentooth, the defeated Rat King. Once, there was a small but prosper realm of human like rats that lived in the northern Rakath Mountains. The rat kingdom was caught in a constant conflict with nearby dwarven mines. Although the rats themselves were able to construct large burrows and deep mines they preferred to plunder the dwarves and take them as slaves. After a sudden and unexpectedassault by the combined forces of the dwarves the rat king was defeated. Now, with his people nearly extinct and his realm lost, he and the few survivers of his tribe travel Nocturnus, forced to serve as mercenaries or take even less glorious work. Maybe one day he will find a new homestead and become a respected lord of Nocturnus. This is my story so far. I hope it is appropriate. -
Though I also sometimes like blockier builds, this is an UCS set. It should mesmerize collectors with innovative techniques and stunning accuracy. The TIE fighter has a simple but awesome design that everybody loves. I'm sure if this model was more sleek and elegant with a smart built round cockpit instead of this blocky thing people would be more positive. Also building an UCS should be fun and challenging. I can't imagine that it's fun to build two identical wings and this standard brickbuilt cockpit.

Great speeder, the windscreen works very well.

Should new castles have (raised) blaseplates?
Jacob Nion replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I wouldn't use them either, but I would like to see them return in a new castle, because it's sad that lego doesn't use any baseplates in no theme at the moment. The last few castles were exactly the same and had no improvements. A castle with baseplate would add some variety and would end this boring circle of always the same old redesign. -

[SoNE Ep VII Freebuild] Consequences
Jacob Nion replied to LucasLaughing's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Very great. I like that we are not given any details until your next build. That's very thrilling. The medical equipment is fantastic with all these arms and gadgets is brilliant, especially the ventilator.- 14 replies

Thanks Thanks! I hope you are pleased witth your part in the story.

Yeah great, the Empire stroke back... but you know what? That means next episode you will lose a whole death star. ;)
-
The goal of an episode should not only be to gain xp. It's all about smashing the empire.
-
The problem with this is that everyone would like to be a bounty hunter or smuggler and the you have a hundred b i unty hunters against a douzen stormies. I would like to have smaller competitions beside episodes. Like "expand nar eurbrikka" where players can builf houses or dioramas of the planet.
-
Your entry was surely great. But I guess the thing is that you are not under the top five imperial entries so you didn't get the xp points from second judging stage. If you made 9 points in the first stage you wouldn't go to the second as long as there are five guys who made full 10 points. Even if it was a great result you made. So there's no reason to be disappointed. Your entry was great the comments you've got prove that.
-
Well, that was quick judging. Congratulations to those guys of the other team, I forgot the name.. I think it was a great episode with fantastic entries. It was a lot of fun to imagine a story and it added much background to our characters. Thanks very much for it! I'm a little bit sad that I cannot claim the awesome tag, but luckily the next few will go to the alliance again.

[SoNE] - Ensuring the station - Freebuild10
Jacob Nion replied to markus1984's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Great build. I like the thrilling element of your story, it reminds me a lot of the missions from Republic Commando. But as a rebel I have to deny that we ever did genetic experiments. That's just imperial propaganda. I'm sure you used LucasLaughing's holo film studio for this "mission". Nice try :p -
[SoNE Ep VII] We Could Be Heroes
Jacob Nion replied to LucasLaughing's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Awesome entry. What a wonderful and funny story. I really laughed a lot. It adds a lot to the daily routine of our favourite galaxy that's not shown in the films. -
Brilliant entry! It's great that you guys made a collab. I really like that ice cutter in the first scene. Another vehicle that got a perfect brick version. And the building made of plane pieces is stunning. Definitely one of the strongest entries.
