  1. And that would make it easier to counter within a week, and nobody could build a super duper giant build over a whole month like maxim said. I think the biggest problem is voting. The fairest system would be an independent jury which gives points from 1 to 10 for example. When there are two guerillas there have to be two counters (the same number). Each build will be judged and the team with the highest total of points wins. Of course these points have nothing to do with the personal points.
  2. It would be far easier if every guerilla could only be countered by one defending player. For example: player1 and 2 make guerilla mocs on one square. So the defending faction decides wich two players of their team shall counter. So they can choose the ones with the best opportunities to win. That means that there are two equal teams of two players and the decision is all open. I'm not sure if 1 on 1 battles in this Situation would be wise. On the one hand that could mean that the defenders could lose even if one of their counters was the best of the whole conflict because they have to win both battles. On the other hand it would be the easiest thing for voting and it's up to the factions to choose qualified defenders. And every team has plenty of good builders.
  3. Djonni Reekoh- got it! The only good bug is a dead bug. Really like the presentation. Looks like 8x8 was not enough room for all the blood.
  4. The whole scene is very harmonic. I can really imagine the city. The wall and building are really great. I love how it actually looks like woodwork and not just a bunch of brown pieces. The leaps are great accents.
  5. The water works pretty well.also the plants. And the cliff makes the scene even more interesting.
  6. Very good champion for our cause. I like how you interpreted the 8x8 size.
  7. I see no problem in talking about quality of entries. Everyone wants to increase his skills and as long as it is constructive and polite nobody has a reason to be upset. Judging is not only about the build but also about the story and presentation. Other thing: I would rather pilot a pod racer than doing sabotage because of my backround story in my last episode's entry.
  8. Great thanks for clearing that up for me.
  9. I love those consols. One can directly recognize the bridge of a star destroyer.
  10. Great build and story! The figs are great. Geonosian clone trooper torsos work really well.
  11. Great how you turned that rebels freighter into an imperial ship. And I like how the story is ongoing.
  12. I guess declairing a square wich is guerilla attacked by two factions an official warzone could spoil the whole thing because it's maybe not in the interest of the factions to concentrate all their forces on a minor territory that was only picked by a few players. I 'm not sure I made my second question clear: what I meant was if two players of one faction who decide to guerilla attack a square that is worth two points have to build a similar scene. E.g. they have to show how they rebuild the same fortification or something like that, just like the counter builders are supposed to show something similar to the guerilla build they try to encounter. Or could those two guerilla players just say they do different stuff to invade the same territory, e.g. player 1 shows a scene where he builds a fort and player 2 makes a scene where he builds a siege weapon. So that at least one counter build would have to be destroying the fort and one the destroying of the siege weapon?
  13. What if both enemy factions make guerilla attacks on a square at the same time? And if two builder are willing to start a guerilla attack on a two points square, must there builds be also "mirrored" like the counter attacks are supposed to be? Or even have to have the same theme (e.g. "build a watch tower")?
  14. At this moment we are all rookies. I'm sure after a month at war we'll get used to it.
  15. Great story! I love every aspect of it. The mystic, the egyptian element which is a great addition to Kaliphlin and the lesson about ancient history of Historica. Did I get it right, once today's Avalonia, Nocturnus and Kaliphlin were the three kingdoms? Certainly some people will believe that the desert king is the rightful king of Historica. Targaryen style.
  16. I am sure there is no problem with this.
  17. The rule is all about this quote. But I have to say I allways found it odd due to the fact that humans can also pilot any sort of air speeders, speeder bikes (even in forests), star fighters and everything that's ridiculous fast.
  18. Ha ha! Looks like I'm nearly the only one who can actually pilot a pod racer.
  19. Does the Goolag archipel belong to Nocturnus or Kaliphlin? If Phreg doesn't mind I too would claim a small territory along the street of Cerberus for future city founding. I would glady offer you a town twinning that our future settlements may grow strong and prosper. Of course in case of my unscathed return from the war in the south.
  20. Can category B (and mini challenge) builds take place at official war zones? Just for story telling of course and without any influence on category c results.
  21. At first it looked a bit complicated .But now I am very excited about the countless battles in this challenge. It gives the feel that whole Kaliphlin is overdrawn with war. Thank you for the great challenge so far.
  22. I was wondering if someone will use these parts for white walkers. It's fun (well perhaps not really funny) to see them in Historica.
  23. Maybe Historica needs a night's watch of it's own. I really enjoyed the story and the great use of parts, especially the chima head as yeti toddler.
