  1. There wasn't anything to "justify" the third wave of The LEGO Movie sets, so no, I don't think it is necessary.
  2. The World Buildings (Big Ben, Sydney Opera House, et cetera) only turn up every three years or so, but the vehicles are an annual thing at this point. Just be patient for the reveal.
  3. Ok but you do realize what The Onion is right?
  4. Well, the Mixer is now retired, so if you're even thinking about it, I'd say pick it up now because the aftermarket price is only going to go up. I personally think the Ferris Wheel would look best in a modular layout if it's behind the buildings, but the Carousel would be nice as a centerpiece if you have your buildings arranged around a town square.
  5. Wouldn't be the first time something that didn't make it into the final cut of a movie still ended up becoming a set.
  6. Man, I don't even know. I thought this was supposed to be the 2017 thread. So, uh, how 'bout them Justice League sets, huh? Those sure are a thing happening this year! I was pleasantly surprised by the Atlantis set - lots of nice Sand Green parts, and I think it's the first SH set at this price point to have four minifigures.
  7. I know people around here feel cheeted if they just get a bunch of kryptic hints, but I don't mind.
  8. But then, didn't Super Hero Airport Battle have an extra of the Ant-Man figure? There doesn't seem to be any consistent rule.
  9. Yeah, I think I see it in the bottom-right corner of the inventory?
  10. I put no faith whatsoever in any of the babble from the Brickset forums, but y'all can believe it if you want.
  11. Small detail but it's bugging me: thebrickfan keeps saying the set number is 10256. It's not; it's 10257. No idea what 10256 was supposed to be.
  12. Slightly higher piece count than the Ferris Wheel from what I hear, but I'm not 100% certain so don't quote me on that.
  13. June 1st is indeed the release date. No VIP early access as far as I know, and I also don't know when it will be officially announced. I'm assuming it'll be soon, since it's likely to be pictured on the June calendar.
  14. Brickset has confirmed the EUR prices. They are just speculating about what the GBP and USD prices might be.
  15. You'll probably need to wait until the movie comes out on DVD for anyone to be able to make a complete list.
  16. Vulture, from one of the Spider-Man: Homecoming sets.
  17. Indubitably. With only one DC movie coming out next year, and The LEGO Batman Movie getting maybe a small third wave like The LEGO Movie did, there will be a bit more room for comics-based sets.
  18. The movie doesn't even come out until 2019.
  19. The little white police car thing looks like a tuc-tuc to me... say, wasn't one of the code names "TT"?
  20. Definitely more next year.
  21. Thanks as always for the review, @WhiteFang! I do have one question about Rocket Boy: is the ball on the tip of the rocket the same size as the standard towball/Mixel joint?
