I hear that the CMF series 20 is an anniversary series; so what do you think the chances of it being classic inspired, including heavy focus on Pirates and Castle?
-
I hope you have a fantastic time and I'm sure that you will. Parts of Berkshire (the county that Windsor resides) are really beautiful. I hope it's sunny for you!
-
That's really fantastic. So simple yet so effective.

Beauty! You should post this in the Historical section.

It's not an assumption, it's a fact that generally, boys will take to Pirates more than girls. And Yes, some girls will like Pirates. And what does Pirates of the Caribbean have to do with it? Is there a study showing that girls now love Pirates outside of the fact that they're played by Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom?

Tell them that we can all get what we want if they just do my bidding and let me present them to the world as my own personal magic. We'd go on the road, creating a travelling show, and use the money to make bigger and bigger cities, which will satisfy their demands.

That's a lovely moc you have right there. I like how you've built the frozen tree and the holes in the ice.

An update to this story from the World IP Review website: Toymaker to appeal Lego injunction at Fed Circuit "A Hong Kong-based toy company is fighting back against an injunction obtained by Lego barring the sale of its minifigures in the US. Court documents filed last week at the US District Court for the District of Connecticut said that Zuru has filed an appeal at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit against the injunction. Lego sued Zuru in December last year over minifigure toys, which the Danish toymaker said infringed its trademarks, copyright, design patents and trade dress. In July, the district court issued a preliminary injunction barring Zuru from manufacturing, distributing or selling the allegedly infringing products. In the original suit, Lego said that Zuru’s toys were “confusingly, strikingly and substantially similar to the overall look and feel of the Lego Minifigure figurine”. Zuru was originally founded in New Zealand and now has its headquarters in Hong Kong. The company describes itself as a “disruptive and award-winning company that designs, manufactures and markets innovative toys”. Zuru says that it employs, directly or indirectly, 5,000 staff across 10 countries and distributes to major retailers in 120 countries. Lego has been active in looking to clamp down on rival toys which it says infringe its IP. In July, Lego won an injunction at the Connecticut district court against British company Best-Lock Construction Toys. Lego originally filed the suit in 2011, calling out Best-Lock ads which Lego said had highlighted the “well-known interchangeability of Best-Lock figures and their body parts with Lego's”. The court found that Best-Lock’s products were “indistinguishable” from Lego’s, and rejected Best-Lock’s argument that Lego copyright registrations for the toy designs were invalid."

Hi there, Lego are launching a streaming channel, and apparently, it launches today! Source. "LEGO looks to Future for OTT channels Featuring its Friends, City and Ninjago brands, the LEGO Channel will be available as a free content app across Roku, Fire TV and Apple TV. By Alexandra Whyte December 9, 2019 The LEGO Group is partnering with multi-platform video distribution company Future Today to launch The LEGO Channel, a free COPPA-compliant content app for kids across all major OTT streaming platforms in the US and Canada. Launching today on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV, the new channel will feature more than 1,000 videos, ranging in genres and animation styles. Some of the options will be from its LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Friends and LEGO City brands, as well as its YouTube series Rebrickulous and specials from franchises like LEGO Jurassic World and LEGO Marvel. The content will also take viewers behind the scenes with LEGO Designer Set Reviews, showing off how pro designers and builders make their brick creations. The plan is to expand the channel to more territories in the future. Creating its own OTT channel was part of the brickmaker’s strategy to deal with the shifting way kids watch TV—“they are platform agnostic,” LEGO’s director of global content distribution Jay Shah said, in a statement to Kidscreen. The channel was developed with that in mind, and will accommodate the toyco’s current content partnerships already in place with companies like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. Future Today manages more than 200 channels, which reaches 150 million views. Some of its kids offerings include Outfit7′s Talking Tom, Cyber Group Studios’ slate of kids shows (such as Zou, The Bellflower Bunnies and Mini Ninjas), and One Animation’s OddBods." Sounds good to me. My boy will love this.

This isn't technically a Pirate idea, so I won't add it to the index, but I think that it'll be of interest to most people that like Pirates. Jenny Thunder: Escape from Skelly Island! by JasonsBrickShop:

Mainly hints from @Itaria No Shintaku, who has a good record at predicting these things. Rumour has it that if you tape an X on the window and shine a desk lamp behind it, he'll appear and give another cryptic clue.

I really hope that Bossk makes an appearance. I don't know how long Trandoshan's live but he didn't die in Empire/Jedi so it's possible. He just has a unique look that makes me want to find out more about him.

@pantelis really nicely done mate. Forestmen are so nostalgic for me.

@Alessandro I hear that Brickset is pretty good for keeping a personal inventory, although I have not done it myself.
