  1. Welcome to Eurobricks, @mark6399! Pleased to meet you. If you should decide to moc some Piratey things, please do show us
  2. Just due to the fact that we're on lockdown and I expect the next series to push this one out in a shorter time than normal. I also can't shop around like I used to to find them sub-£3. I refuse to pay the new price of £3.50.
  3. @Pdaitabird Yeah I agree with this. I think that each distinct theme should have it's own sub-forum. Western and Tolkien certainly fit in that category.
  4. I have just added the following Ideas. Wizard's Room by Andrew Bricksen: Raven Knight’s Castle by MrPotatoHead: Outpost Defence by SirSurprisedPoodle: Lord of the Rings Balrog and Gandalf by Alexmorsilla_8413:
  5. Thank you so much! Very rare then and 100% official. And thank you for the easy link! This is very good to know.
  6. Well, I mostly agree; however, it could be a very niche repair man that works for a 5 star hotel. I guess the yellow is a safety high-vis sash of some kind. It goes round the back too. @LEGO Historian Have you ever seen one of these before? Could early Ideas books have contained stickers like this?
  7. Guten Tag, Tobias! @Aldar-Beedo! I'm pleased to meet you and glad that you've joined us here on Eurobricks. I hope to see your future mocs on our forums too.
  8. We've all been there. @LM71Blackbird
  9. I understand what you're saying, but I disagree and think that if a sub-forum were to exist purely for MOCs (non-GOH), then you'd actually be helped in finding them by virtue of having their own sub-forum. If that means that you'd no longer visit the Historic main forum and read discussions, then I think that is fine as you don't seem to be interested in them. In regard to GOH, I should have said I rarely visit them, not never. I agree that there are some great mocs in there but for reasons I don't want to get into here (so to not derail this thread), I don't think they're as clearly presented as they could be as a MOC piece.
  10. Oh well that could be due to restrictions on the recipients end, perhaps? Anyway, you should contact @Jim about this :)
  11. I've just sent you a message with somebody else in copy. If you receive it, it works for me. And you are right, you're supposed to be able to send to 3 people at Count level, and it was 2 at Knight.
  12. At the time I was so focussed on finding a torso match that I didn't even think about the rear, but it does have a rear sticker too. This strikes me as odd as I'd never expect the rear on an old torso to have a print, let alone a sticker, but here it is: If you notice, the very bottom is kind of frayed - so could that be a sign of a fake or early custom figure? The actual torso mold is real though, it has the Lego logo on the neck pin and does shown signs of considerable age, as you can see by the crack in the under-arm. Also, I thought that the power tool might date it and make the sticker invalid, but a quick Google to Makita's website shows this type of cordless drill being available since 1970. I'm stumped.
  13. But don't you think that these 2 statements are a contradictory? Right now MOCs are shared in both the main forum and GOH, a sub-forum.
  14. @pantelis May I ask where that torso and legs are from? The minifigure holding the head.
  15. Yeah I think that the number of required votes for an Idea to be reviewed needs to be increased to 15k or something like that. Right now, if you reach 7k, you're basically assured to make review; it's just a matter of time. Being at the top of the feed puts you in the public eye more and people that would not otherwise search out your submission will now support you.
  16. Great stuff! I do like to see Islanders.
  17. That's great. Do you have this in a .png format or more traditional format than .pdf? If so, I'll try to get it posted directly here.
  18. The following entries are ending soon and so this will be your last chance to vote for them: Siege the castle ! by @povoq: The Old Mill by Farmfarm: The Acropolis of Athens by Theodan1417: Black Falcon Stronghold by Xman:
  19. From my perspective, that'd be 1 step too far just to share a moc. I don't ever visit Guilds of Historica though so perhaps it's just me. I have a strong feeling that the conversation would be helped, not hindered, by having those discussion topics more visible on page 1 of the Histroic pages. As someone who frequents both, I can tell you that the Pirates one certainly feels more alive than this one; but perhaps that is because they have several highly invested, active members and that, this year has been a pretty good one for Pirate releases. My gut feeling is that Historic actually has more traffic potential, by a good margin, and maybe this could be stimulated with some small changes. I appreciate all of the feedback, and it does seem that I am in the minority with my thoughts on this. So can anyone actually tell me who the moderator is for these forums? Who makes the decisions here specifically?
  20. I have now added HMS Surprise by Naboo1: Also, it looks like the Ideas website has undergone another change. Now, when you support a project, you will see this screen: Furthermore, here is an entry that is ending in 20 days and had never been on this index. Must have been hard to find when this was all started, which can be the case if a project is mid-life: Amerigo Vespucci training ship by Mr.Mattoncino: And it only needs 3 more votes to get to 100 and receive further time!
  21. Would you mind explaining what that controversy is, for those not in the know?
  22. That's a real beauty. Reminds me of.... home I'll add it to the index now. The creator is now here on Eurobricks. @tomaaki.
  23. Yes, it wasn't my intent to suggest having only Ideas in there at all. Thanks for your feedback.
  24. Nice moc. I have a soft spot for the Forestmen faction.
  25. Welcome to Eurobricks, @TonyFelix! Thanks for the info.
