  1. Well, I guess that largely depends on how much oil and cargo companies are willing to pay the authorities. That's my take anyway.
  2. But military action has taken place. A pirate ship was just recently sunk! Unfortunately the di*k heads got away, but at least a ship carrying heaps of ammo was taken down.
  3. Well you're doing great! I'm loving these MOCs, and I look foward to seeing the whole lot.
  4. The Blue Bucket, then this. This is going to be an awesome story. Maybe I should save up for all the figs and make a movie out of it... What's Zorro's car going to be?
  5. What? This is just a normal imperial soldier torso. A maximum of $2 AUD. I didn't realise it was that rare.
  6. Well I suppose we could have a big classic-pirates day or something where we all get dressed up and hire a tall ship in our areas and sail around a harbour. But that's an idea that can be discussed at a later date...
  7. Ok, I'll give you three guesses. PIRATES!!! Trains
  8. Wow! Wouldn't that just be AWESOME!!! But not for me. Waaaay too pricy. Although I don't think they would disclose the new lines even if you did do that tour.
  9. True, the walrus is awesome! As is the entire car!!! I look foward to seeing how Captain Zuloo gets around with your MOCs.
  10. Have a go at what? The competition? Yay!!! The promo actually worked.
  11. It is just the same as any other Creative Critic post. Same content, same effort. Just you need to do it as quickly as possible, but still make a well thought out response. Just remember, if you start making poor quality posts to get done quickly, you will destroy your chances with the bigger prizes in the Pillage the Village Creative Critic division.
  12. I really should learn a second language! Maybe they are reffering to DJ or Myer. somewhere like that. Perhaps all us Aussies should make some kind of community purchase, then we could post from there. With S@H so damn expensive, surely even that would be cheaper!
  13. It's the big skull. Just makes it look more cartoony. Compare it with 6286 Skull's Eye Schooner and you'll see what we mean as far as skull scare factor. I personally voted for the BSB, but then I havn't got the BB, so I couldn't say for sure. However, I think that the BSB is a ledgend that will never be topped, and that's just the way it is.
  14. Hey! Welcome to Eurobricks! Just a word of caution, keep in mind that this site is designed for AFOL, but from your mature attituded in your posts so far, I don't think this will be a problem. If you need help let me know by PM!
  15. I read Scarecrow and Hovercar Racer which I hear is to be made into a film. Has anyone heard anything more about that?
  16. Blue stickers in English? Because I didn't know they existed unless you mean the blue stickers in Dutch. And if that's what you meant, they were in all the police sets.
  17. Nice website you have here. Although I would change the title in news to "News" from "Title". Saavy? And I left a comment in your guestbook and caledendar. If you need any help with your site, I'll be glad to help as BrickFace Studios.com is also freewebs based.
  18. These two fairly evenly matched ships, two cannons in the broadside, same amount of hull sections, same colour sails. Which ship would come out on top in a sea battle? The ledgendary Black Seas Barracuda, or the new 2009 ship, Brickbeard's Bounty? Vote, then tell us why you voted what you did! 6285 Black Seas Barracuda 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty
  19. Ok, I'm not sure how pirates are helping stop global warming , but true, if it wasn't for irates attacking ships, this forum wouldn't even be here. And no Mister Phes, it wasn't me - this time... I think keeping weapons on a ship is actually in existance, or on cruise ships at least, for security. But if there were many weapons, that could lead to other problems.
  20. Not too long ago there were some real pirates that hijaked a super tanker carrying over $100,000,000 worth of oil in the Gulf of Aden. In fact, there have been over 70 pirate attacks in that area in 2008 alone! But now the authorities are taking action. Pirate vessels have been sunk and guidlines on what to do if pirates attack have been released, but that won't stop them all. What do you think?
  21. Yet again, I would recommend the Go Duster. A quick sweep accross the rails in a maximum of 5 minutes every fortnight or so, and your dust problem is gone!
  22. What was that? You want me to whine? I can do that if you want.
  23. That is certainly allowed, although if I were you, I wouldn't show people the bad side of the MOC. After all, you want people to remember it by the great photos at brilliant angles left thinking that all of it is as good as the front, not thinking "the front is great, but the back is so bad I wouldn't vote for it".
  24. Hello, and welcome to Eurobricks! If you're interested in pirates, then check out Classic-Pirates.com. There you will find the latest news on the new pirate sets, set reviews, contests etc. Check it out, and I hope you have a graet time here.
  25. Pirates of course! They count as other then, don't they. I voted Nautica as water is a huge means of transport of goods, and although these ships may be small, at least they aren't just one piece like their 2008 counterparts.
