  1. Hello! Another Aussie! Welcome to the forum. If you are interested in pirates, I wonder if you have come accross Classic-Pirates.com, the ultimate resourcefor pirate LEGO fans. On it, there is an RSS feed that you can subscribe to and you'll get the latest information on all the new pirate setes, their reviews etc. as well as awesome MOCs and Pillage the Village entries. And if you get stuck on these forums, don't hesitate to PM me! Cheers, Captain Zuloo
  2. I could, but that would be against my LEGO building philosophy. I'm a "purist".
  3. That's a shame. That would have been a good piece to have for MOCs. Oh well.
  4. A complainer, someone who complains.
  5. Don't worry, if we hold you being an American against you, Hinckley will whack us! Welcome to the forums mate! And remember to drop by Classic-Pirates.com to get the latest on all the new sets. EDIT: I just noticed your sigfig's ACDC torso. Well done man. That's awesome.
  6. It's not as cool as the Boat-O-Mobile. And Zorro, where the hell did you get orange from???
  7. Erdbeeries1, you always come accross as rude!
  8. Yes. But in the large category.
  9. Do you own a website with enough bandwidth to store your film?
  10. The official movember website.
  11. I completely agree with the above two posts. If you supply a deadline, you need to stick to it otherwise people will see you as being untrustworthy and won't enter competitions at all. So if you are really having trouble completing your MOC, you should have managed your time better. No sympathy here. I really hope the contest doesn't get extended, because that's unfair on all those contestants who busted their boiler to get their entries done on time. Completely out of the questionif you ask me. A big no-no.
  12. Holy megablocks!!! AWESOME!!! The only thing I can think of for you to improve on is to face the flag on the top of the main mast foward rather than back. The sea monster is awesome, although I'm not too sure of that fireball thingy on the top of the cliff. I have no idea what it is.
  13. Just out of curiosity, did you make it using the Eurobricks tutorials, or knowledge from elsewhere?
  14. Did you scratch the moustach off on purpose? If so, the answer is no because you aren't allowed to use custom or modified pieces. Sorry.
  15. Hmmm. Software for editing... There are many programs out there, it just depends on how much you want to spend. I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio (great program because it has special effects such as chroma keying inbuilt), but that can exceed $120 AUD. There are heaps out there only a Google search away, butI would highly recommend Vegas.
  16. Hello! Welcome to the forum, the best LEGO site on earth! If you are interested in pirates, drop by Classic-Pirates.com, and you will get the latest Eurobricks pirate infomation. Classic-Pirates.com also has an RSS feed, so if you are interested in recieving updates instantly when they are posted, then subscribe!!! And if you ever get stuck on this forum, let me know by PM and I'll see what I can do.
  17. Yes! Video is a fantastic idea! Any chance of that?
  18. What? Sinner! How dare you resize these images with your admin skills! Yeah, sorry. I'll resize them. EDIT: Done! Thanks Sinner!
  19. Well, it's movember, or at least in Australia, where people without moustaches grow them to raise money for charity. So I had this idea: Before After
  20. Well done! And don't worry about audio, tutorials on that are coming soon... Just one piece of advice, in order to get rid of that flickering, wear dark clothes and return to the exact same position each frame.
  21. That's exactly why I'm a 9v bloke.
  22. I'll take my chances in this. Hmmm. A mystery raffle. Never thought of that one befor!
  23. That is REALLY, REALLY COOL!!! So intricate. That must have taken ages. And outdoors too! Thanks for sharing! BTW, only admins can embed things to avoid EB being destroyed by harmful software etc. being embeded.
  24. Awesome car man! I love it. I really think the cameras on the side add a really cool touch. It just seems to suit my sigfig perfectly. Now for the scene where I come in, )perhaps a "retractable" rotor could come out to make it a helicopter. (in other words, you just stick one on for that bit.)
  25. Good idea, but that would cost heaps! After all, there have been 70 attacks this year, and thousands of ships sailing through. To position people on each ship would be impracticle.
